Todo fluyó genial y el apartamento es grande, ciudad tranquila con supermercado. Siempre que necesitamos algo nos respondieron rápidamente. Se fue la luz y pusieron un generador. Hacen todo lo que pueden siempre que sea posible.

Clean place and spacious rooms

Uno de los peores hoteles en los que he estado en mi vida, y eso que he viajado por todo el mundo. Me cobraron 200 € por una noche y, al llegar, la realidad no tenía nada que ver con lo que se anuncia. La foto de la fachada parece generada por ChatGPT o totalmente manipulada. En persona, el edificio estaba muy deteriorado y prácticamente en ruinas, nada que ver con un hotel “nuevo” como lo venden. Además, había malos olores insoportables desde el primer momento. La situación fue tan desagradable que no estuve ni media hora en el hotel. Solicité la devolución del dinero al ver el estado real del lugar, pero la propietaria se negó y me indicó que lo gestionara con Booking. A pesar de enviar fotos que demostraban que el anuncio es falso, no recuperé el dinero. Dejo esta reseña para advertir a otros viajeros. No lo recomiendo en absoluto.

It is really a residence. There was a front desk with a nearby door slightly ajar, so luckily we were able to just knock to get some help. It could use a little more signage though. Room was clean and great for a budget stay. We had a flight cancelled and needed a place really last minute that wasn't too far from the airport. Host helped us call some transport back to the airport the next morning also. Wifi worked, AC worked.

It could have more signage to help folks arriving. We were arriving after dark on a residential street so that would have helped us get our bearings a little. It is also not a very touristy town, so a map or list of recommendations could be a nice touch. The room was off the street, and the street was quiet regarding motor noise, but there were some loud dogs and roosters just outside.

J'ai vraiment apprécié l'attitude de la gérante.qui m'a laissé tranquille pour squatter le balcon et m'y adonner à mon activité de rédaction sur smartphone. Dans d'autres endroits, les gens ne comprennent pas et vous ennuient. De plus, comme les autres commentaires le disent, c'est parfaitement fonctionnel et bien placé à Dapa. Il y a une salle de gym à moins de 10 minutes à pied.

Very spacious property for two people really near the airport

We arrived in the pouring rain and the staff still brought umbrellas! Nothing to complain about really - a little tricky to find but the hosts were excellent at communication

We couldn’t ask for more during our week-long stay. The location was excellent—close to the market, restaurants, and stores, but the neighborhood was quiet and cozy, making it the perfect place to come home to after a day of exploring. Although Siargao was rainy for more than half of our stay, being stuck in the accommodation wasn’t a burden at all. It had everything we needed: a fridge, stove (which we didn’t use but was nice to have), rice cooker, electric water heater, and a full set of plates, utensils, mugs, and cups. The room was spacious, and the TV had YouTube, plus we had excellent WiFi. Our host was always available whenever we needed something and even arranged for airport pick-up and drop-off for us. An overall wonderful stay!

there was nothing we couldn’t work out, and if there was ever anything, the host would definitely assist. but just for information, ants could be seen in the room, so it’s smart to take out the trash immediately if you eat inside. Also, the toilet and bath are in one, so the toilet can get wet after someone showers. These were very minimal inconveniences, but we’re sharing it here in case anyone finds it helpful.

- Impressed with the cleanliness - Great for the price - Great communication, very accommodating and helpful and friendly host. - Quieter at night compared to other accommodations we’d stayed at in the Philippines. - Walked approx 8 minutes from ferry - Bed comfortable with two pillows each - Quite out the main tourist area (we were the only westerner tourists we noticed in Dapa during the 7 days that’s we stayed) unsure if it was the season - 3 minutes walk to local bus station, we paid 40 pesos into general luna one way.

- It was further out from general luna than we anticipated, not much to do around the area by foot… but this was our own fault for underestimating the distance. We were still able to get there via tricycle/tuk tuk. - Just a bug barer for myself - the air conditioning unit was over the electrical box, and directly under the electrical box was our wooden bedframe where we slept. I just thought it was a disaster waiting to happen as we had recently stayed somewhere else where the air conditioning unit leaked water. - The shower only had 1 temperature which was warm/ hot. Which most of the time is great but not when it’s hot and you’ve got sunburn.. a cooler shower option would have been nice

Staff friendly and flexible

Very clean! And the staff are amazing always there to help, also do motorcycle rentals so when I arrived I had a bike waiting for me which was so helpful. Dante is always quick to reply to any messages I had and sorted my transport to and from the airport. Highly recommend this place

Our room was very clean and provided exactly what we needed. Staff were very lovely & we were able to hire a bike from the hotel! Air conditioning worked very well! And the room was quite spacious!

The location is a bit far from general Luna, but it was no problem as we had hired a bike from the hotel! But you would definitely need a bike to get to and from!

Even if the entire island didn't have electricity, the place has a generator to provide us with electricity for air conditioning, light, electric fan, and television for certain times of the day.

At night we woke up sweating. Sometimes the rechargeable electric fan used to alternate the air conditioner does not work. The stairs outside going to our room is made of smooth surfaced ceramic tiles that posed a fall risk. My fiance had a fall during our stay. The caretaker has taken immediate measures to prevent further accident by placing rubberized mat on each steps of the stairs. Siargao is a place that's constantly raining specially at this time.

My husband and I were more than happy with our stay at ZM home stay. We highly recommend for the quiet neighborhood and room close to town and the very clean and spacious room that provided a kitchen and silverware, plates and cups. The beds were comfortable and clean and we had a great sleep.

A lovely little hotel in the heart of Dapa, within walking distance of the harbor. Big clean rooms. Great air conditioning and hot shower, well functioning Starlink wifi. Wide double bed and clean bedding. No visible insects, no ants. Convenient scooter rental directly from the hotel. Absolute value for money and far enough away from the crowds and chaos of General Luna. Big hand and recommendation for this one.

The owner is very friendly and accommodating. We missed our ferry to Siargao and he immediately agreed to change our booking without any extra charges - thanks again! He also helped us with renting a scooter to get a good price ;) The apartment itself is very nice and cozy – well-maintained, with a large balcony, fast internet (Starlink) and super clean. For a longer stay a stove and some kitchen tools would be nice :) But there are plenty of restaurants in the area to grab some good food. We highly recommend this residence for a stay in Siargao!

There was nothing I didn't like

The room was very clean and all the important details were provided. This is very good quality for the amount paid, difficult to find in this area. The owner was very attentive and helpful.

Spacious room with a comfortable bed, soft pillow, good bathroom and shower, strong WiFi and powerful aircon. The room was very clean and equipped with kettle, crockery, and cutlery. There was also a smart TV in the room which was very useful as I was here to relax for the night before catching a flight the next day. The staff were very helpful and friendly, allowing me to check in a few hours earlier, which I really appreciated, thanks again!

Everything was great

Very nice host, we rented a scooter through him without any problems. The place was clean, and perfect for 2 nights for 2 persons. Very good price.

The Manager was superb

Dante is a great owner who takes care of you and does everything possible to make your stay easier. The rooms are clean and very well equipped (kitchen area, TV, air conditioning, etc.) The residence is ideally located, very close to the center of Lapa and its port. I recommend this place

Nothing. Just that they could use a water filter since the lime scales after boiling were still there and it was a lot. The towels offered didn’t help dry conveniently.

. Internet connection and accessibility to the port are our deal breaker in choosing this property but we are disappointed. Weak internet connection. The hassle of traveling to General Luna just to find a place to work.

Very clean. New building in quite area. Walking distance to the port & restaurants. Owner arrived at 4am to give me a lift to the port as it was pouring with rain. Highly recommended.
