Very convenient location for orienting before / after the ferry trip(s). The staff was extremely helpful in coordinating rides. The room was simple, quiet, and well air-conditioned.

The little coffee packets were confusing to open. All over the floor. Big mess. Sorry.

La gentillesse du personnel. Nous avions réservé cet hôtel car nous avions un vol tôt et c’était le plus proche de l’aéroport.

La chambre n’était pas très propre, plus précisément la salle de bain et les draps… La fenêtre de la salle de bain était cassé. Il n’y a pas grande chose pour prendre un repas mis à part le café à côté de l’hôtel qui propose 3 burgers (pas très bons).

It was very clean, had working WiFi, a/c and a tv. The beds were comfortable and the private bathroom did the job. The receptionist was very knowledgeable and helpful about the ferries. The cafe next door also did a great coffee in the morning.

It was a bit noisy with people up at all different hours, this was to be expected. Also there are roosters nearby that started their wake up calls from 5am - make sure to have ear buds. I would still stay here again if I was in the area, just be aware of it.

The hotel has strong wifi and is very convenient, especially since there’s a café right next to it.

La gente que lleva el lugar es lo mejor! Tuvimos la mala suerte de tener que dormir pronto para madrugar mucho, y se juntó apagones en el generador, con una familia de 15 personas gritando en la habitación de al lado. El personal del hotel hizo todo lo posible para que estuviéramos cómodos y hasta nos cambió la habitación para no tener tanto ruido. Estamos muy muy agradecidos por el trato ❤️. También tienes un pequeño restaurante-cafetería al lado que se come de diez sin tener que irte a buscar otra cosa.

El barrio y sobre todo el puerto es bastante más salvaje con los turistas, tenlo en cuenta porque es un poco más estresante que el resto de sitios.

My stay at IAO Hotel in Dapa, Siargao felt like an easy, cozy getaway with friends. The rooms were clean and relaxing, the staff were warm, and having a parking area made everything hassle-free. The WiFi was impressively fast perfect for chilling, working, or sharing our adventures online. And the best part is the café right next door, a place where you could study, do work, and chill. Their pastries and coffee were so good that it became our everyday go-to spot. If you're heading to Siargao, this place is a comfortable, convenient, and highly recommended stay.

I had a wonderful stay at IAO Hotel in Dapa, Siargao Island. The staff were very accommodating, and the rooms were comfortable, clean, and perfect for a relaxing break. I also appreciated that they have a parking area available, which made everything more convenient. The location is great, quiet, accessible, and close to what you might need during your stay. Fast Starlink WiFi perfect for anyone who needs reliable connection, good spot to do works. Another highlight is the "I Kofe U" cafe right beside the hotel. Their food and drinks were really good, making it easy to grab a tasty meal or coffee without going far. Overall, IAO Hotel is a cozy, convenient, and welcoming place to stay, definitely worth recommending to anyone visiting Dapa.

Weak WIFI signal (affecting also cable channels), limited facilities in room (no closet, no safety box, no fridge), small toilet/shower room, no lights in bathroom mirror (resulting in difficulty in shaving) sometimes flickering light in room

Soundproofing is quite bad

AC is perfect, warm shower, good location and friendly staff.

Rooms are extremely small with no windows, small shower is located awkwardly located above the toilet making everything wet. No place to put our belongings in the room.

For me, it was the right place for us its accessible to the market, ports and boulevard ( if youre looking for bars at night) but not the typical bars you see in General Luna, but it was really the perfect choice for us to stay in this place since we were there to visit and celebrate fiesta in Dapa.

They had complimentary airport pick-up. Was not mentioned earlier, only after reaching the hotel, so why are you then telling me it and then on asking if It can be arranged as a drop, directly denied. There is no window in the rooms, not stated anywhere. Would have planned a different hotel for certain then. No housekeeping provided, even on asking daily, either they didn't clean at all or they did part of cleaning. Garbage was not removed, and amenities were not replenished. Kettle was not working, asked it to be fixed or replaced, it never happened at all. The bathroomoom is too small and attached to the washroom, so when you shower, you have water all on the commode. Cannot have 2 people at the same time in the washroom. Locked myself out on my last da. Staff are scrambling to find the spare key, in fact, even confirming about other tasks, etc. instead of prioritizing on finding the spare key in a bunch of 100 keys. I got the bunch and picked the keys in less than 30 seconds. Bed way too small, legs going outside, I'm not very tall, even the duvet covers only half of your body. New hotel, need to know to manage well, no experience at all. Rating 3 is actually good in comparison to the experience. The receptionist, I do not remember her name. I think she is the only takented person, and she certainly deserves better.

It is a new hotel. The staff is great but the little things seem to be an issue. There’s rusty floor drains. The bed is too small for me. I’m 6 foot one. They don’t provide blankets. Only a sheet. The window in the bathroom has no cover on it and I saw a man, fixing a water tank looking into my bathroom while I showered. The owner needs to focus on the little details of this hotel otherwise you’re going to lose business.

The size of the bed was a joke, bathroom window needs to be covered, floor drains need to be replaced, so there’s no rust

I stayed at Iao Hotel in Siargao for one night with my family, and it was a good experience. We booked a Deluxe Room for two adults and a child. The room was spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. The location was also convenient, close to places we wanted to visit but still quiet. Overall, it was a pleasant stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice, simple place to stay in Siargao.
