Pool was quiet big, most of the time no people in it and very nice to swim, clean. One side you can stand, the other side is for swimming only. Pool area with the deck chairs and sun umbrellas is nice. Overall, the outside area looks very appealing. Hangers and places to hang wet things outside. Free cold/hot water and instand coffee (plus juice). Nice music selection, they also had live music one evening.

Unfortunately, I was very disapppointed with my stay. Due to an illness, I spend longer than I wanted in Alona in 3 different hostels and this was the worst and most expensive of all. My biggest issue was the cleanliness. During my stay, most of the guests were Asian and especially the Chinese (or Taiwanese) in the dorm very loud and dirty. During all 3 nights of my stay, the bathroom and the entrance of the dorm looked dirty as you can see in the photos. For me, a dorm just doesn't work if everybody leaves their private belongings in a shared bathroom. Worse if it is empty packages and trash. Yes, it is hard for staff to know what stuff is trash and what will still be needed, but upon seeing the empty bottles and packages, they could have asked the people (there was for sure a moment they were both present) since the garbage makes other guests feel uncomfortable. Also there were bisquits laying on the floor and a towel in the lockers. Left shower was clogged and I was standing in water during my shower. It was repaired after 2 days. These Asian guests were also 0 respectful, making noise at 6am and at 11pm. For being one of the most expensive hostels in the area, I had the furniture to be expected in a better shape. However, there were a lot of scratches (esp. on the lockers). There were A LOT of ants everywhere in public spaces. I didn't even dare to place my bag anywhere because I was scared ants my get inside. Especially the kitchen is not usable with all the ants (even more because there is not even a cleaning rag to clean after yourself which attracts even more ants). Cups had broken parts. I understand there are more insects and ants in the Philippines, but the amount in Abraham's was too much. If you want, you can reduce the amount by using appropriate cleaner. Fridge disgusting. The down part was full of water and during my 3 days, there was a pizza carton swimming in it.

Overall location and the room I booked was spacious.

the staff were all very friendly and accommodating.the location itself was relaxing.we rented a car through abraham bohol so we were able to access everything. the room were spacious and clean.

The staff were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They responded to our concerns immediately and moved us to another room without hesitation. The location was also convenient, however you might need to grab a car to alona beach.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms were disappointing. Our first room had brown and yellow stains on the bedsheets, hairs on the bed, unwashed floors with dead bugs, bugs and spiders throughout the room, and no towels were provided. After changing rooms, some issues were still present, including bugs, cockroaches and spiders. The second room also had mold in the bathroom, a sink that looked like it was about to break, and a door that could not be locked properly.

Muy buen hotel, las habitaciones son grandes y comodas y zonas comunes estan muy bien.

Its pretty nice, they have all the options sorted for you. Nice wifi coverage throughout the property. Games and lovely hangout with fellow travellers

הוסטל ממש ממש טוב עם אווירה ישנתי בחדר דורמס החדרים היו מרווחים ונקיים, גם בדורמס יש פרטיות כי לכל מיטה יש וילון ומנורה קטנה משלה. בהוסטל יש בריכה ומיטות שיזוף שזה ממש נחמד ושולחנות באזור המשותף ככה שכיף לשבת שם בערבים ולהכיר אנשים. גם צוות ההוסטל היה ממש נחמד ועזר לנו במה שהיינו צריכים. יש מזגן טוב בחדרים ומים חמים במקלחת. יש סבן אילבן ממש מחוץ להוסטל שזה נחמד.

ההוסטל ממוקם רבע שעה הליכה מהאלונה ביץ וזה לא כזה נורא.

Me encantó que tuviera cocina para los huéspedes, también la limpieza de las habitaciones y de las áreas comunes es excelente. Una piscina maravillosa y un personal muy atento en todo momento. La ubicación es buena, a unos 10’ caminando de la zona de Alona Beach, solo que por la noche la carretera es un poco oscura.

Por decir algo negativo, el wifi no funcionaba dentro de la habitación.

Assolutamente l’ostello migliore in cui io abbia mai alloggiato. La stanza femminile con 6 letti era molto pulita, i letti molto comodi e all’interno è presente bagni privato con due docce e due water, le docce dotate di shampoo e bagnoschiuma. Il personale è gentilissimo, la colazione è buona. La piscina è un plus non da poco, molto rilassante. Ottimo servizio di ristorazione, prezzi in linea con quelli di panglao.

Se dobbiamo essere puntigliosi, un po’ più di manutenzione della piscina sarebbe consigliata.

Ants absolutely everywhere. In the toilet, shower, by the pool.

It was off the main road; there’s a pool; there’s a restaurant on site; food was great…such a variety; ALL staff were absolutely fantastic and attentive; there’s a clothes drying bamboo rack outside; grounds were well maintained; they can call you a tuk tuk; Alona beach is walking distance; public transport to and from the Bohol pier was convenient; the blinds on the bunks was dark even if you leave the lights on, it’s good….

The bunks should have a small shelf to put things on… just a suggestion.

The rooms where always cool, clean and tidy. Staff was very helpful, we needed transportation to the pier at 4:30 am and they arranged it for us, and were always attentive to our every need. The vibe is very chill, would definitely recommend.

It’s a little far from the Main Street, but still walking distance, close to 7 eleven and could get a grab to the Main Street no problem. On the other side it made it very calm and quiet, far from all the noise.

Lovely stay with exceptionally friendly and helpful staff who carried our luggages up the stairs. The room was clean and comfortable. AC was cool and water was always provided for everyone. However, future guests should be aware there is no lift. Perfect for active travellers but might be difficult for those who have mobility issues.

It’s a bit far from restaurants and town. Need a ride to get there.

The rooms are big, staff are very welcoming and helpfull. The 2 pools are great and also the restaurant and service.

No closet and safe in the rooms. Altough no one is touching and valuable items it let better safe feeling to keep passport and items inside the safe. Also closet will be nice addition and not only hangers and large shelf.

I love everything about the property. It has a lovely ambiance and huge pools. There is a common area open to everyone who wants to mingle with other guests or play games like billiards/pool. They also have board games and a restaurant. They offer strong Wi-Fi connections and a great space for people who work remotely. The beds are very comfortable, and each dorm room has a shared bathroom. I can definitely say it’s one of the best hostel and hotel places to stay. I would highly recommend this place. Overall, I loved my 3-day stay here.

Great open space area with a pool to relax. Nice veranda outside the dorms to meet people and hang up wet clothes. 15min walking distance to the city center but also close to some little shops and restaurants

Poor wifi and the bathroom was not very clean

Me and my kids stayed for 5 days and we enjoyed the whole time. We had a room with pool acces for the kids. I paid extra for breakfast and it was worth it. During our stay the hotel ahd an afternoon art session and my kids joined. They have a pool table and board games that can be used for free. Overall it was worth it. A table tennis facility would be nice for guests who just like to chill.

The house keeping was not attentive to details, only made the bed and did not tidy up the counters/table/pantry in the room, though I should have expected less for this ;)

Die Unterkunft war sauber, die Betten bequem und das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit.

Leider sehr viele Ameisen im bad und am Waschbecken kein hacken, um etwas aufzuhängen. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat sich für mich absolut nicht gelohnt.

Der Service war super... alles sehr gut organisiert...

J'ai tout adoré !!!! C'est mon logement préféré aux Philippines, je vous le conseille vivement. Tout était génial ! Le logement, le cadre, la piscine, les boissons gratuites, l'ambiance, la gentillesse du personnel. Vraiment fabuleux, je reviendrai avec un immense plaisir !!!

The staff was friendly and responsive throughout our stay. We also loved the relaxing ambiance of the restaurant and appreciated the games available for guests, which made the experience even more enjoyable for the kids.

The whole villa was clean, functional, and comfortable, except for the bathrooms. The bathroom drainage needs improvement, as water from the shower would flow out and create puddles on the floor. There were also instances when the water supply became unavailable after divers arrived and used the outside shower, which was inconvenient as we had to adjust our shower times accordingly.

The staff. All friendly and helpful. The pool. The female only dorm. The en-suite in the dorm which has 2 toilets and 2 showers. Food always freshly cooked and hot.

The lockers. Pitch dark and unfortunately painted black inside. White would help hugely.

Seul bémol : j’ai trouve qu’il était compliqué de faire des rencontres, les voyageurs solo étaient beaucoup avec leurs écouteurs dans les parties communes, ce que je trouve dommage.

I don't understand the low rating and some comments. The place is amazing, very clean compared to most of the usual hostels, pool and great vibe at dinner. All you can look for as a backpacker. I even did one of their suggested tour to Siquijor.

I paid more to get "high speed rate internet" option suggested by booking. The internet is very poor except in common areas, and i dont think they can promise good internet. Not happy that i loose my money there, so dont choose that option.

Die Lage war ganz gut, fußläufig konnten viele Restaurants und der Alona Beach erreicht werden.

Als ich ankam, funktionierte die Klimaanlage in meinem Zimmer nicht, sodass ich ein anderes eincheckte. Für mich kein Problem, da ich dachte „kann ja mal vorkommen“. Von da an dachte ich, dass alles entspannt und reibungslos verlaufen würde. Doch ich wurde kurz darauf eines besseren belehrt… Am nächsten Tag wurden einige meiner Wertsachen aus meinem Zimmer (privates Zimmer!) gestohlen!!! Doch laut Securitykamera, war niemand in meinem Zimmer… sehr sehr seltsam… Hinzu kam, dass Wifi auf den Zimmern nicht funktioniert und auf den Polstermöbeln im Gemeinschaftsbereich überall Schimmel war! Ich kann dieses „Hotel“ wirklich aus Sauberkeits- und Sicherheitsgründen nicht empfehlen.

The pool is definitely one of the highlights about this place and was really refreshing to use after a long day or just for a lazy day by the pool. Comfy beds and good sized lockers for backpacks. Staff were always super friendly and they offer a good amount of tours, a little pricey compared to beach ones but you get an English speaking guide with all entrance fee's covered no hidden extras or taken to places to buy unecessarily. Free water, juice and coffee available all day. Really good kitchen facilities. Activities like kareoke and bands playing etc. Good place to meet other solo travelers but alot did just keep to themselves. Good location to I think it is a great place to stay and a reasonable price. I would stay here again.

The tours do not go ahead if there are not enough people so as a solo traveler I unfortunately couldnt do a couple. The sewage system is a problem showers overflow and toilets - staff do quickly sort it out when told ☺️. Sometimes loungers can be hard to get - there are 10.

Buena ubicación, cerca de donde suele estar y moverse la gente. Aun así, recomiendo alquilar una moto porque caminando puede quedar un poco lejos. En el mismo lugar puedes alquilarla, lo cual es muy conveniente. El personal es muy amable y siempre está dispuesto a ayudar con cualquier cosa que necesites. Aunque el baño olia a humedad lo recomiendo

Honestly great place to stay, clean and enjoyed spending my days next to the pool. Food was decent from the restaurant.

I liked the air conditioner and ceiling fan in the room. Kept the room nice and cool.

Hot water was down all week. Only stayed there 4 of the 7 days and Had to book a different hotel in the middle of the week and all hotels were full. Bed sheets were filthy. Finally got them to change the sheets on our last night to clean sheets. Had to continually call staff to fix our TV every day.

We hadden een koude douche terwijl tot meermaals toe werd beloofd dat deze gemaakt zou worden. Daarnaast zaten er vlekken in het bedlinnen.
