Amazing spot, very cozy houses, beautiful and functional territory. Good food and plenty of choice. The team was always friendly and helpful!

The beach is not perfect for swimming, too much green and too shallow.

This is the best resort in Puerto Galera. The resort can only be reached by boat and this gives you really the feeling of the tropical hideaway. The staff is great, and the restaurant has plenty of choices. The diving (and dive staff) is excellent.

We had bees/wasps in our room overnight. We were able to get hold of staff so it meant no sleep while they swarmed in the windows of the room.

The serenity of the place. The staff was very polite and so accomodating. Felt like VIPs and we feel the other guest felt like that too. The area was secluded enough to feel like you are on a private island but also accessible to be able to easily access different ports around mindoro. The food were amazing and the offered facilities and activities were great too. Overall I highly recommend this place for a go to vacation spot in mindoro

The bathroom glass is not fully covered by blurred glass We constantly feel someone can peek through outside.

We have stayed at Casalay from May 9 until May 12. I can say very accommodating staff upon arrival, during and upon check-out, everyone is friendly and meets our expectations for the place. Big thank you for the front desk who let us change our room as we have toddler staying on the very end top of the hill is quite challenging for us especially at night if we are going down and she managed to help us transfer a room very smoothly and big thank you for the staff who help us with our bags. The restaurant has heaps of variety from food and drinks, for us good quality and affordable price, very quiet place and perfect if you are a nature lover and really prefer a place away from the city.

Cost of items can be high. Charging for every single items including some services and boat ride to port. Not very accomodating.we were beside the laundry which were very noisy at time due to machine spinning and staff.

The villas could use some pest control

Serene, laid-back, far from all the buzz of crowded areas

The staff were really nice and hospitable, but I think they need more training to understand guests’ needs. Also, food can be better - large servings versus better quality. On a side note, instead of serving oranges for breakfast, I think divers will benefit better from bananas.

La villa etait magnifique, calme et très confortable. Le restaurant était excellents . Le centre de plongée et nos guides de plongée. Les plongées Muck de nuit et au calme!! Le personnel au petit soin.

Pas de sortie sur island verde. Alors que c’était écrit sur leur brochure… Les 260 !! marches de la plage/restaurant/centre de plongée (c’était la villas la plus haute sur la colline) Les plongées (l’aéroport) du côté de Puerto galéra (trop de bateaux, trop de plongeurs et surtout trop de bruit, dommage jolie fond Coralliens…

Casalay er en lille perle som ligger isoleret for sig selv, men alligevel tæt på alt. Personalet er søde og imødekommende. Restauranten er fin. Dykningen er fantastisk! Vi dykkede med Orville de fleste dage. En helt igennem fantastisk oplevelse. De forskellige divesites ligger alle indenfor kort båd tur på 5-15 min. Og dykker i små grupper. Værelserne er store, pæne og rene. Obs der er mange trapper til dem som er dårligt gående. Meget hjælpsomme med at arrangere transport til lufthavnen. Vil anbefale dette sted til både dykker og til familier/par som ønsker ro og lækre omgivelser.

Supersüßes, ruhiges, etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Resort mit ungkaublich aufmerksamem, zuvorkommendem und überaus freundlichem Personal. Ausflüge zu Wasser oder an Land kann man unkompliziert vor Ort buchen, zu sehr fairen Preisen.

Tolles Personal, super Service, hervorragend angebundenes und professionelles Tauchcenter. Viele Aktivitäten einfach und kostengünstig buchbar. Sehr schöne und rustikale Villen.

Es war großartig. Wenn man eine Sache nennen muss: einige Gerichte im Restaurant könnten qualitativ ein bisschen besser sein. Aber das American Breakfast, die Desserts und auch Salate sind hervorragend

We really enjoyed our stay at Casalay Resort in Puerto Galera. The location is beautiful and peaceful, perfect for relaxing. The staff were very kind and professional, and we felt well taken care of. Thank you too to the Casalay Divers team—they are friendly, well organized, and made our dives easy and safe. Also, try the Lemon Butter Prawns—they are delicious! We would happily stay here again.

Sehr schöne und ruhige Lage. Das Dive Center ist hervorragend organisiert, mit genialen Diveguides, die jeden Tauchgang zu einem besonderen Erlebnis machen. Feines, abwechslungsreiches Essen und ein ausgesprochen zuvorkommendes, herzliches Personal sorgen rundum für Wohlfühlatmosphäre. Sehr gute Unterstützung bei An- und Abreise sowie stets zuverlässige und angenehme Kommunikation.

Everything was perfect: location, villas and personnel. The dive center team is fantastic - the ight dives in particular were a true highlight.

Breakfast was just so so! They never even provided mangoes or pineapples with breakfast the two most popular fruits in the Philippines.

They failed to tell us that there were 220 steps to get to our room! We had to pay for an upgraded room in order to get to the 50 step level and it was 50% more expensive. Also booking anything through the hotel was exorbitant From Tuck tucks to boats.

Le calme, la vue, les installations et la gentillesse de l’ensemble des salariés est remarquable . Le petit déjeuné est copieux et le repas du soir si vous restez à l’hôtel sont bons. Les chambres sont en hauteur et vos mollets seront mis à contribution .

Beautiful location, pickup from Muelle port was easy, amazing hospitality throughout our stay, great rooms, comfortable beds, fun swimming pool, overall excellent value for money. They also made an amazing effort to accommodate my wife's allergy.

The food could have been better. Some of the portions were quite small and a bit bland. Definitely didn't hurt our vacation, but we would have appreciated it.

The Location was good

The room has no TV

I liked that it was off the beaten track, quiet was just what I was looking for. No sound of traffic. Everything you needed was there with ample choice on the menu. Steps are mentioned but they’re such shallow streps to get up really 5 steps are equivalent to one.

There’s a lot of seaweed at the shore which feels a bit slimy to skin out from, obviously not something that can be changed and excellent for wildlife

Amazing place to relax and wind down. Awesome to learn scuba diving. Especially the staff were exceptionally friendly, everybody constantly has a smile on their face! The diving center is great, Orville is a real hero, awesome teacher to learn scuba diving.

I like that its a private beach property so there are only few guests and us. The facilities, pool and bar are also nice with the view.

Our rooms are at the top so the stairs that we need to climb are so high up. The food in the restaurant is a bit pricey and could use improvement on its taste.

The location was excellent especially if you are looking for a nice and quite vacation. The staff was so polite and extremely helpful. The dive shop was amazing and the instructors and dive guides were exceptional. I would 100% recommend this place to stay at. The food was really good especially for vegetarians they did their best to cater to people's food choices. Everyone was so welcoming and just so nice to talk to. They showed us the true meaning of Filipino hospitality.

One of the most beautiful resorts we have ever been to. It is romantic, quiet, safe and secluded, but also a great place for families, groups or singles. Guests can easily walk through the quaint Secret Bay village to Sabang or Casalay can provide a cheap $ boat ride into Puerto Galera. We rented a scooter to explore and had a grand time. Casalay has an amazing staff!!!!! Special shout out to Cathy! Cathy is an exemplary restaurant host, waitress, bartender. She makes any cocktail perfect every time;)

I didn't like going home. Next time we will stay longer!

Casalay is a great place to stay for families who want to escape the hustle & bustle of life. The villas were clean, cimfortable, spacious for a family of five. the pool were great to take a break from the heat. the sraff were exceptional!!! second to none!

Beach isn’t that nice, not really for swimming. Food quite expensive but I guess that’s because it’s so remote.

High standard. Clean. Staff are super friendly. Rooms are huge. 2 swimming pools or jump straight into the beach. Food are delicious.

I didn't like the steps to the rooms. I suffer from chronic back pain and it was painful every time I had to go up. They could improve on the toilet downstairs in the reception. Have a chef's today's special so people can choose something different aside from what they have on the menu.

Absolutely spectacular! The resort's customer service is top-notch, and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food is fantastic, and everyone on the team genuinely cares about your experience. We'll definitely be back!

The location was amazing, secluded and can only be accessed by boat. I loved that it is away from the rest of the other resorts but is still accesible, only 10 mins boat ride. Proper hot and cold water and resort facilities. villa was spacious and had all the necessities. Service was exceptional, all the staff were attentive. Reasonably priced accomodations, food and drinks. We enjoyed our meals at the resort restaurant and drinks during happy hour. Enjoyed the introduction to scuba diving. We even had two kids do the course and it was amazing to see my nephew dive for the first time and he is only 10. We will definitely be back.

Lots of steps for Villa’s on the upper part of the resort but they were very transparent about this during the booking.

Nature and location

No road, no access by car, tok tok etc. Only walking on very narrow pathways among local houses close to water. Dangerous- especially night time - no light and bitumen They have also own boat but not free of charge

Break fast

The cottage was located high up. Had To climb up 180 steps, very annoying with bad knees. Only by Boat To Sabang, every one way trip 450 Peso. No cleaning at room. We left the place one day early, Lost 5 thousand Peso but could not Beard To be at Casalay any longer.
