The beds were comfortable and the pods themselves were clean. Check in was easy and staff were helpful. The lockers were a good size. The location was easy to get to from the train and had good shopping options and restaurants in the surrounds. The vibe in the common area was nice and there was enough space in the fridge and kitchen for our food.

The showers were filthy and had black mould all over them, the toilets weren't much better. The shower heads also sprayed water absolutely everywhere so there was no way to keep your belongings dry. Multiple other guests complained about this whilst we were there. The common area did not have nearly enough plug sockets, the bedroom had a few sockets near the door but nowhere to place your device (and it was then open to everyone in your room) and as there were only USB sockets within the pods you couldn't use your laptop and charge it from the pod. The lockers, though enough space were faulty, both our under-bed lockers and the main lockers wouldn't unlock 6 times in total, each time we had to get a staff member to reset it (they mentioned the battery likely needed to be changed) Just incredibly inconvenient having to go back and forth so many times. The kitchen was mostly well equipped, some other guests aren't great at cleaning up after themselves but this is not unexpected when sharing a space, and is hardly the hostel's fault.

يوجد موظف من جنوب إيطاليا غير متعاون وتعامله سيء فظ جلف عصبي(شعره طويل ) هو غير جيد ويريد الغاء حجزي لمدة 7أيام القادمة لأنني لم أحجز اليوم هذا وفيه تسجيل خروج ولم أجد عندهم حجز وصار مليان فل وغدا يفترض ان أكمل اسبوع آخر يقول لي سوف ألغي حجزك كاملا لأني جلست في الصالة ..علما انني كنت قبل ذلك حاجز معهم ل14يوم متتالية..

Ik lag naast de deur , en mensen liepen constant heen en weer . En lieten de deur in het slot vallen ..wat een harde knal maakte en mijn bed liet trillen . Dus niet goed geslapen . En ik had boodschappen met naam en datum die in de keuken lagen . En de volgende dag waren die verdwenen .

Everything was perfect. Really great stay, location and staff!

Not really about the property, but the guests really push the door and can’t really sleep well/ wake up early.

The staff at the hostel are extremely respectful, friendly, and helpful. They were always willing to assist and made us feel very welcome and comfortable throughout our stay. Their kindness and professional attitude really made a positive difference. Thank you for the excellent hospitality! ⭐

Virkelig god og venlig hjælp i receptionen. Super stemning og virkelig behagelig sovearrangement Vi kunne godt finde på at komme igen som familie vi var 6 personer mellem 60 og 18 år og havde alle en super oplevelse.

House rules, very noisy Spanish tourists in the dorm, very loud at 1am when people are trying to sleep. No clean kitchen or showers, toilets were diabolical. I suppose it's for young people, I was only there for a short stay.. not for the faith hearted. People need to know how to flush a toilet. Don't get me started in the showers......A dog wouldn't stay there.

Beds were comfy

Staff were very arrogant. The systems and communication systems used are clearly very confusing for staff and guests, as my bag was removed from my assigned locker (which was locked). I later found out my passport had been removed (im assuming by a member of staff to identify the bag) and not returned to my bag. I had not been notified of this at all. This meant I went to the airport, realised I didn't have my passport and had to return to collect it, resulting in me missing my flight. Even more frustrating when seeing how avoidable this whole scenario was, perhaps if the hostel communicated better. Not a bad stay apart from this, but there definitely should be better systems in place to prevent things like this from happening.

As camas são bem escuras e silenciosas. Tive medo de ser acordado por ter muitas pessoas no mesmo quarto mas passei uma semana com diferentes pessoas e dormi super bem. Locker espaçoso, localização boa, a 15min da estação caminhando por um centro comercial agradável. Recomendo.

Please avoid going into this hostel. My dyson got lost from my cabin luggage even though i stored the luggage in their lockers for a fee. Then they dont even show the camera. They are just stealing other people valuables.

- Localisation : - tout près du centre ville de Zaandam, et gare accessible à pied pour se rendre à Amsterdam (12 min de train) - Prix : très bon marché - Intimité des dortoirs : très peu de bruit dans le dortoir, rideau pour chaque lit. J'avais peur de me sentir à l'étroit mais finalement non, plutôt à l'aise. Le lit est plutôt confortable. Il y a une prise USB pour recharger le téléphone et une petite lumière. - Gens respectueux - Existence d'une cuisine commune qui permet d'économiser de l'argent sur les repas - Grands casiers sécurisés par code personnel pour les bagages (+un grand sous le lit) - Salle commune plutôt agréable.

- Accès au dortoir peu pratique (obligé d'aller sur ses mails à chaque fois pour accéder à sa clé virtuelle) - Enregistrement à 15h pile, surtout pas 4 minutes avant... Quand vous avez fait un long voyage, vous n'attendez pas à ce que la première phrase soit (sans bonjour) "the check-in is from 3pm". - Les toilettes : loin des douches, et manque de propreté des toilettes.

位置好，设施好，一切都超出想象，干净整洁，床垫舒服，有厨房，厨房里的电磁炉功率非常大，便于烹饪。厕所和淋浴数量足够，且非常干净。公共空间非常宽敞，很大。最喜欢的是房间里有空调，一点也不觉得热和闷。这里的一切都超出预期。非常好！

厨房里的冰箱太脏了，应该定期清理。我放在里面的牛奶被人喝了，这不是酒店的过错。

Its in a good area, there is a bus stop in front of the hostel to Zaandam Stafion and walking is 5-10 minutes distance! shops are 5 mins away (clothing/skin snd healthcare etc), Amsterdam is 15/20 mins away with the train! The staff are always nice, down for a nice chat as well:) Im always up late because of work (and being a night owl) so Davide is my to-go to guy whenever i have any issues/questions and he’s always super helpful and nice:)

The staff were very welcoming and really helpful, they would assist in anything you need or have question. The price for this place is really good as it's really close to the trainstation ( 15 min walk) I liked it cause I have had a place to sleep and then explore Netherlands on your own through out the day ( it was Amsterdam in my case) all your basic needs were met.

What I didn't like was that there were roommates which were annoying or talking throughout the night when everyone's supposed to be sleeping ( I would understand if the noise is unintentional ) but most of the cases it wasn't. when you travel there be mindful of that, in my case it was 2 days with those roommates and then 2 days without them, I finally had a good rest! :). The other thing that I didnt like was sometimes there wont be hot water to shower ( I understand that we are too many people at the same time trying to shower), so had to wake up really early in the morning to take one and resume sleep.These are the only 2 negative things I've observed in my 4 day stay there.

The beds had curtains for privacy, and the sleeping area was well ventilated, so rest was very comfortable. Secure lockers available.

There was no soap in the bathroom, so it was impossible to wash hands after the toilet or a long day in the city. The sink drained very slowly, and the shower switched off every minute with low water pressure, making it impossible to wash thick hair. During my 3‑night stay, no one cleaned the sinks or shower. You also need to put the bedsheets on yourself. The location is inconvenient, and train costs are not covered by the Amsterdam Card/city transport card, so returning to rest or drop off shopping bags becomes expensive and also you need to walk solid 10min at least from train station to the hostel. In the end, it’s more practical to stay in Amsterdam. Most importantly, not providing basic soap does not meet hygienic standards.

De structuur, cabines goed geventileerd, gezamelijke ruimtes en vriendelijk personeel. De indeling van de douches met los bankje enige puntje de ruimtes onder de cabines voor potentiële gluurders.

Hoewel zeker niet slecht, schoonmaak interval douches en toilet of materieel bv.trekker voor klanten beschikbaar in douchecabines.

I loved the location and not being in the main city but still just a quick train ride away, Zaandam was so gorgeous. The beds were so comfy and the staff were all lovely. The locker space was great and very secure

The room was clean and the cabin was comfortable.

The stay felt overly expensive for a 10-bed dorm without a window. The bathrooms were clean at the time of my visit, but there were no towel racks near the sinks and no space to place toiletries, which was quite inconvenient. The biggest issue was the noise level. There seemed to be a party or loud music coming from somewhere in the building (possibly the casino), and the bass was so strong that sleeping was impossible until around 3 a.m., even with earplugs. This significantly affected the overall experience.

L'auberge n'est pas à Amsterdam, mais à Zaandam, à environ 5/10min à pied de la gare, qui permet de se rendre dans la ville en 15min, ce qui reste vraiment pratique. Le personnel est accueillant et à l'écoute. J'ai adoré le principe de lit capsule, ça fait comme une petite cabane et c'était vraiment très confortable. Les draps étaient propres. Les chambres disposent de grands casiers à code pour ranger vos affaires et il y a des branchements dans les cabines de lit pour charger les téléphones etc. Les chambres s'ouvrent avec une clé sur votre téléphone (ce que j'ai trouvé pratique, même si vous avez toujours besoin d'avoir votre téléphone sur vous). Les sanitaires sont propres (douches, toilettes, lavados, sèches cheveux). La salle commune est agréable, avec un panorama sur le canal de Zaadam. Ne vous fiez pas à l'entrée qui semble un peu abandonnée, le check-in se fait à l'étage et tout est parfaitement propre.

La cuisine pourrait être plus propre mais cela dépend beaucoup des résidents.

la ubicación era buena, justo afuera pasaba un bus que llegaba a ámsterdam.

el aseo era insuficiente, encontramos uñas en la cama, lo único que hacen para limpiar es por los bordes de la cama pero no es una limpieza profunda, te dan sábanas limpias pero no basta porque ni siquiera cambian el cubre colchón, además el último día nos botaron nuestra comida que estaba en la cocina porque hubo un problema de plomería. pésimo. es triste que sea de las opciones más factibles dentro de la zona porque todo es carísimo.

Me gusto mucho su ubicacion, facil acceso al metro y bus

El personal no habla español, ademas de eso ofrecen guardaequipaje sin costo y cuando tienes que hacer check out debes de pagar extra para guardar el equipaje si tienes que salir. Es mejor colocarlo de una vez en descripcion que son pagos, como muchos hosteles hacen. Las duchas sucias y manchadas Y en mi cuarto hasta la 1 am habian chicas hablando, llorando y haciendo ruido cuando otras personas ya estabamos durmiendo

It is pleasant to have your own space even this small like few meters and the matress was comfortable, the sheets also nice

The bathrooms are not very nice, water marks everywhere, shower moldy and steamy all the time, even when empty, sink area never clean, dirty mirror and old toothpaste dried in the sink. Everything wet all the time. Also socket does not work in the bed, I saw it was not only my issue.

Location and staff and the beds are designed in a way that you won’t feel if the person below or above is moving which was impressive!

The WiFi goes off everytime, it works slowly when you are in bed and don’t work at all when you are in toilet areas. The showers are not good and don’t have temperature to set (you cannot choose to take a cold shower or hot).

The common space is really nice. We enjoyed interactions with people from different countries and watched World Cup Football 2026 matches on a big screen TV together. We stayed there for 3 nights.

Shops, stores in this area are closed a bit early. Otherwise the location is good.

床頭沒插座🔌只有usb 插座頭。 隔音差，週末晚上聽得到外頭的音樂。 浴室很暗，但還算乾淨！ 房間沒鏡子，廁所早上塞滿了人不方便使用。

Beds are comfy and theres plenty of space in the lockers. Location very good, close to the train station, beside the bus stop to zaanse schans.

Shower pressure is not good and water goes everywhere, you cant regulate the temperature and is not hot

總共睡了三個晚上，整體來說，以青旅的品質我會給4-5顆星 入住：入住前會發連結繳城市稅，當天搭機15小時早上抵達，櫃檯意外的讓我提前入住，可以盥洗、使用廚房。 （提醒：櫃檯在二樓） 公共空間：寬敞，也很常看到清潔人員清掃廁所、衛浴、廚房等，而且他們都很友善客氣。 廚房，該有的東西應有盡有，冰箱很大，夠很多人放。三個大爐台夠多人同時使用。 房間：進出房門都要用手機房卡開。很有隱私空間。室友多半很尊重彼此休息時間，只是門的機制讓開關門很容易有聲音，一定要帶上耳塞，會睡比較好，置物櫃是設定自己的密碼非常方便，照著櫃檯人員的圖片指示很容易理解！ 地點：離贊丹火車站走路要十來分鐘，但是樓下就是去風車村的公車站，很方便！如果要去阿姆斯特丹市中心時間要多抓，因為火車容易誤點～

床上的充電器有時候會感應不良～ 床上清潔有待加強，我的床位有指甲剪，雖然套上床單，還是會覺得身體癢癢的 衛浴：感應式的，所以每隔幾秒要重新感應，水不會到非常熱，吹風機也是感應式的，吹個快30秒會自動停30分鐘，對長頭髮不是很友善
