La ubicacion es muy mala, es dificil acceder e ir a visitar la ciudad es muy a trasmano. Te hacen pagar un deposito que dicen no es un pago y lo devuelven al hacer checkout. Pasaron 7 dias y no me lo han devuelto, llame para consultar y me dijeron que en la habitacion estaba todo bien y me deberia llegar pero sigo esperando. Tampoco hay supermercados cerca, para comprar comida solo hay un mc donalds y un restaurante asiatico.

Отель Fogo, это отличный отель! Отдыхали в Амстердаме с сыном и были приятно удивлены таким отелем. От трамвайной остановки идти 15 минут. И это единственное, что немного напрягало. Сам отель, отличный! Персонал очень приятный и вежливый. В номере очень уютно. Есть кофемашина. Прекрасные завтраки! Можно положить свою еду в холодильник у стойки рецепции. Взять капсулы с кофе в номер.24×7 есть самовар с горячей водой для чая и микроволновая печь. Очень надеюсь что вернусь туда ещё раз.

I didn’t understand why one has to pay a €100 deposit and the accommodation had been paid in full before checking in.

I paid 5 star rate for this one star hotel. I complained to both the hotel and to Booking.com. To no avail.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, and the bed itself was comfortable and nice to sleep on.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I feel that this feedback could help improve the experience for future guests, which is why I wanted to share it. Unfortunately, there were a few things that were disappointing during our stay: - There was hair from a previous guest left in the shower, which made us question how thoroughly the bathroom had been cleaned. - The bedding had large stains on it that looked like they could possibly have been from bodily fluids. I understand that some stains may not come out completely in the wash, but in that case I don’t think the bedding should still be used for guests. - The towels had black marks/stains on them. They may have been clean, but visually it did not give a very clean or comfortable impression. - The breakfast was also disappointing considering the amount we paid for it. Some of the products did not seem very fresh. For example, the croissants and waffles were extremely dry and difficult to eat. - The TV had a few channels available, but unfortunately they all seemed to be showing the same programme, and it was in a language other than Dutch or English. This was quite disappointing, especially considering we were staying in the Netherlands and couldn't even watch a Dutch-language channel. It would have been nice to have at least a few Dutch and/or English channels available. I’m not writing this simply to complain, but because cleanliness and breakfast quality are important parts of a hotel stay. I hope this feedback can be used to improve these areas for future guests.

Borg betalen voor een hotel? En de extra kosten voor het parkeren. Het staat ergens in de kleine lettertjes, maar dat vond ik niet fijn. Het ontbijtbuffet is erg uitgebreid, maar een eenvoudige yoghurt, kwark was er niet en de broodjes waren ontzettend hard en droog.

Obwohl es schon seit drei Wochen bekannt war, wurde mir nicht mitgeteilt, dass es am Abreisetag einen Streik des öffentlichen Nahverkehr kommt. Ich mussten so vor der Zeit, ohne stornieren zu können, abreisen.

McDonald's is very close, and the area is calm. The hotel is beautifully decorated, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The air conditioning in the room worked well. The bed was a good size and rather comfortable. I also appreciated the free tea bags and hot water in the lobby/breakfast area.

The location is not far from a tram station, but it is still about a 7–10 minute walk. The supermarkets are quite far away. The room was very small, with very little space to put our clothes. We also experienced several problems with the bathroom in room 505, which we reported to the hotel staff: The holder for the smaller shower head was not securely fixed and kept falling down, which was very inconvenient. The water drainage was very poor, causing water to drain slowly. The shower doors did not close properly, leaving a gap of approximately 2 cm. Water collected on the table under the sink and leaked onto the floor, as if there was a gap between the sink and the countertop.

Staff were amazing the trams were close within walking distance and straight forward to the centre of Amsterdam only taking approx 45 mins to cental The hotel was very clean and friendly and inviting and set in a lovely quiet setting with a McDonald's and service station in immediate vicinity for emergency needs/food Also the room and ensuite were very well maintained every second day clean towels and bedding and the breakfast was fantastic many choices to choose from freshly made hot choices plus cereal and fresh fruits and pastries and a smoking section verander but no evening hot meals served although you can purchase from vending machine provided and use microwave and the hotel has 24 hr service but no bar or alcohol The only draw back was no phoneline, bell or emergency button in the room for you to contact reception in case of any emergency but all in all excellent and the value for 7day stay for two was amazing I can definitely recommend a stay in Fogo C.Carmel

Value for money

I was only there as a layover and it was a last minute booking. I have no idea where we were as i did not have an opportunity to do any research. The room was comfortable, the bathroom was very small, there was a McDonald's next door which I appreciated as we were hungry and had no mode of transportation. Most importantly, the staff were amazing. They were friendly and extremely helpful and accommodating!! I would definitely recommend this hotel and if I ever get the chance to return to Amsterdam, I would stay there again.

maar er was iets waar ik niet op had gerekend dat ik voor het parkeren van mijn auto 15 euro moest betalen terwijl ik een gehandicapte parkeerkaart heb  Daarom ben ik maar zonder ontbijt weggereden om de uitgave te compenseren. Ik ben 81 jaar...

The staff were lovely! Especially the night staff! They took good care of me and even waived off some fees to ease my stress. The hotels proximity to McDonald’s 24 hour drive through was such a blessing. Especially after a night out. The hotel itself also had some good options food wise. The close proximity to Matterhorn train station was excellent. You could be in central Amsterdam within 20 mins. The room itself was clean and stocked with a coffee machine, tv and fresh towels. The bed was very comfortable and large enough.

Despite the hotels close proximity to the tram station it took some time to learn the route to and from the hotel. The toilet could use some updating as rust has developed in the shower. I think soundproofing the room would help a lot as I would regularly hear conversations in the hallway which could be distracting.

The hotel is located next to the tram station and McDonalds. The hotel is beautiful.

Our room was not cleaned or made during our stay. We were told that they will only clean the day of our check out. The cups, glasses and towels were not changed or cleaned. This was fixed the next day after we complained.

Food was acceptabile and the serving hours for the breakfast were suited for our schedule. Staff was ok too.

Mouse were running trough the restaurant floor where the breakfast was served. The rooms are not soundproof at all. You can hear other peoples farts and people are not carefull and they slam the doors all day and night. And the low price per room is just clickbait because once you are there you pay for everything else, doubling your costs in the end.

The bedsheet weren’t clean. It was far away from city center and all attractions.in my mind too expensive for a “cheap hotel” out of city.

The only good thing about this place was that i was safe in my room.

Do not stay here. The area is terrible as a woman, men are everywhere preying on you. The tv says it has netflix and youtube but it actually doesn’t. There is no ac. I am 5’1 and i could barely fit in the shower. Imagine if i was 6’5, i would not be getting washed. The staff was rude. The best part of this hotel is leaving it!

Tem bom custo benefício, tem mac donalds ao lado, tem uma estação de tram a uns 300 metros. O café é bom.

Alguns funcionários nao sao muito prestativos. Depende muito do horário, teve um que negou encher uma simples garrafa de água com o filtro na frente dele. Tem um italiano que é cordial e mto gentil. Pra ir pro centro precisa pegar um tram e um metrô, cerca de uns 50 min, mas ok.

I got a room on the 5th floor, and surprisingly, I had a beautiful view of the sunrise right from the comfort of my bed. The staff at the hotel are very welcoming.

It felt like someone was walking into my room, but they were actually just passing by or going into their own rooms. I found it weird at first, but then I realised they were just outside.

Posizione ottima per chi viene in auto perché è vicino all' autostrada. Parcheggio comodo anche se a pagamento €15 al giorno. Alla reception abbiamo trovato ben due membri dello staff che parlano italiano. Letto comodo e aria condizionata.

Staff were very friendly upon check in and all throughout our stay. Room was very clean and continued to get cleaned every 2nd day during our stay, meaning we did not run out of clean towels.

Location was a little tricky to get to with public transport as google maps gives you a 25 minute walk from the tram stop, when in reality it is 5 minutes across a busy road. Bathroom was a little small and cramped, however suited us as we were out most of the day.

RU:Хорошо бы чтобы сотрудники после бронирования высылали схематичную информацию, как добраться до отеля из разных локаций( аэропорт, главный железнодорожный вокзал) особенно в вечернее время. А так же и схематичное объяснение как добираться в центр города и обратно возвращаться ( общественным транспортом). В вечернее время было трудно понять как добраться до Matterhorn от Leidseplein, что есть пешая пересадка от Leidseplein до трамвая на Surinameplein и что там тоже есть пешая пересадка до Matterhorn,в темноте было непонятно, так как остановки трамвая обратно находятся совершенно в другом месте. Из за путаницы я два раза ездил по кругу от Leidseplein до Central Staition. Большое спасибо девушкам в Service в трамвае, очень милы и добры! Эта простая мера позволит увеличить количество клиентов, которые будут выбирать отель по цене, удалённости от центра и качеству.

Klein bed voor 2 personen en geen ruimte om om het bed heen te lopen. Vloer was vies. Niet optisch, maar als je op sokken loopt dan werden ze heel vies.

Situato a breve distanza dal centro urbano e al riparo dal caos cittadino, l'albergo vanta un'eccellente rete di collegamenti tramite i mezzi pubblici. L'accoglienza del personale si distingue per la grande cordialità e la spiccata professionalità, con diversi collaboratori in grado di comprendere e parlare un eccellente italiano. Le camere risultano calde, confortevoli e impeccabili dal punto di vista dell'igiene. A disposizione degli ospiti vi è un raffinato spazio comune nella hall, arredato con tavoli e sedie e dotato a titolo del tutto gratuito di forno a microonde e bollitore, soluzione ideale per scaldare e consumare cibi acquistati all'esterno. Un'esperienza decisamente positiva e senz'altro da ripetere.

Ho prenotato due camere una per me e mio marito,. Ottima Ma quella di mia figlia aveva davanti alla finestra, il vapore della cucina del ristorante sotto. Poi era senza condizionatore. La seconda notte le hanno dato un ventilatore.
