The property is spotless, with a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The people are warm and friendly, the service is excellent, and the food is delicious.

The rooms and rooftop terrace are beautiful, excellent breakfast and extremely nice and helpful staff.

The food is exceptionally good. Star quality. Fresh, creative, very tasty and local. During our stay we had both the typical Moroccan (abundant) breakfast, late lunch and dinner, since we kept preferring eating at 'our Dar' :). For special occasions, there is music and you can get henna done on your hands. Another very positive feature is the personal attention of absolutely all staff at Dar Chrifa, and particularly of Naoufal, Amina, Omar Papa and the man at the door. Their special attention to the needs of the guests is remarkable and made us feel really at home.

Nothing really I did not like. Perhaps it is good to know that Dar Chrifa is located in the middle of the Medina. Since there are many entrances from the outside to the inside Medina, there are not always signs, so you may want to take a good look at the map :). The middle of the Medina is a pedestrian zone. If you are by car there is a parking site at one of the entrances outside.

Staff were fabulous. They were friendly and helpful. Communication with the riad was great. Beautiful setting. Nice to have a restaurant inside riad.

Large breakfast, large rooms with nice decorations. Very nice bathroom with excellent hot water.

Easy to find and nice lobby. Good sized room, very spacious. Helpful staff.

Open wires next to bed where lamps should have been plugged in. Broken safety box. Lack of attention to detail in the room. Toilet roll holder no longer on wall. A bit rough overall sadly.

Our stay here was lovely. The Riad was a former grand home converted beautifully into a hotel. Food was good, rooms were spacious and comfy. Service was fine but little English was spoken. Location was perfect-it is right in the middle of the Medina and near the sea.

The riad had an amazing decor, which created a lovely ambience. The main host was very friendly and hospitable. The location was very good and so was the breakfast, although there could have been more variety.

Our shower was not functioning properly - we had to use another room's shower while it was being attended to. We struggled with language with one of the hosts as we could not speak French.

The location was perfect for exploring the Medina Our room was large, clean and airy The staff were really hospitable, warm , friendly and helpful . The hotel was secure and felt like returning home in the evenings .

This is a beautifully decorated inn located conveniently within the medina. The staff is very helpful and friendly, and the room was very comfortable and attractive. The rooftop terrace is a peaceful oasis. And they even have free on-street parking. Definitely a good place to stay.

It would have been helpful to have the precise coordinates of the parking before we arrived. The breads at breakfast could have been fresher. And the drinks at their small bar were exorbitantly expensive - and even an extra $4 a cup for a second cup of coffee at breakfast.

The riad is well located in the middle of the medina, a four minute walk from the entrance on the corner of Avenue Laalou and Rue Moulay Abdella. There is a short walk to many restaurants and markets nearby. There are four large rooms, each with an en suite batthroom and with excellent facilities. The staff, particularly Omar and Nawfal, are warm and welcoming, and always ready to help. The breakfast were substantial and delicious. The decor is an idiosyncratic mixture of traditional and modern. Delicious food and alcohol are available in the restaurant. Recommended.

The road was recently opened and it was breathtakingly beautiful. The rooms were spacious and bed was comfortable.

The property is within the Medina so you walk a bit to reach it. Card stay out of the alleyways. But the hotel sent staff to help us with our luggage.

Hard to find as GPS took us to a different location apparently this is a common issue that needs to be fixed in the description.

Friendly and supportive staff

This riad is the most amazing place I think I've ever had pleasure of staying in and it was an absolute pleasure. from the moment we arrived we were welcomed like family, the staff went over and above in everything they done for us, nothing is a problem. the decor inside is out of this world the cleanliness was immaculate we were given a free upgrade to larger room the location is perfect, food was great all the staff were so friendly and helpful NAWFAL who welcomed us was very informative told us all the local things we could do as unfortunately we only had 1 day here however when we were out in medina we bumped into him a couple of times out of his working hours and he made sure we knew were we were goin and asked if we needed anything, really really nice person ,as were all the staff however Nawfal spoke better English or at least understood my glasgow accent 😆 a little better than other staff I will most certainly return to Rabat and Dar Chrifa is a big part of that. also Rabat is a really beautiful and a much more relaxed part of morocco than other places we visited, all in all I can't recommend Dar Chrifa highly enough massive thank you to all the staff. easy 11 out of 10 can't wait to return

There is nothing about this place to not like

New Riad in the center of the the Medina. Big rooms and modern and clean but decor tries a little too hard. Weekend staff was pretty clueless. Weekday staff was charming, helpful and lovely.

Beautiful property, great staff, and restaurant was delicious.

The shower didn’t drain fast enough and some water spilled over to the bathroom floor.

The riad is modern and well designed. Everything was clean, and the staff was wonderful. The location is close to everything. I'd be happy to return.

The prices at the restaurant were high. I paid a lot for just two bowls of soup for my wife and myself. Even so, the restaurant is well appointed.

This house has an ancient and very interesting story, highly recommended! The rooms are very big!!! The biggest we got in Morocco. The host helped us and went with us to find a money exchange because we arrived on Sunday and the banks and money exchanges are closed because it is a holiday. So the host walked with us until we found a place to exchange money. The accommodation is designed in an ancient and modern way, we loved everything, thank you very much!! We will definitely come back again!

The facility is beautifully decorated, clean, with a taste of feeling at home. The staff was very attentive and professional. The dinner was delicious and ample portions were provided.

I experienced a clog drain after taking a shower the first time. Water spilled out to the bathroom floor. It was quickly fixed but it none-the-less awkward.

My first time in Morocco. I am from Colombia but live in USA during 25 years. This is an excellent place to enjoy the beauty of Moroccan art and culture. You are received with respect and courtesy. As soon as you cross the door to enter, you feel impeccable ambiance and beauty. They are always attentive and this is a very good place to taste Moroccan food. At any moment, one of the staff will accompany you along the narrow "aisle" to go from the big street to the Riad or to go out from the Riad to the street. Anyhow, you will be familiar shortly. The walking is only 3 to 5 minutes. This is great opportunity to have the authentic feeling of this culture. I highly recommend it.

Absolutely cannot recommend more highly! We decided to visit at the last minute and hoped our stay at the riad would be good but it was more than we could ever have hoped for. The staff and owners were personable, helpful and great. The food was absolutely magnificent. We visited during Ramadan, which was an extra treat. The musicians that played during dinner were so talented and we LOVED the music as much as the food and environment. The shower pressure and hot water was great, our accommodations were just lovely. Would definitely visit again!

Honestly there wasn't much we didn't like. Definitely hard to find if you've never been there before but we got a petit taxi and had our taxi driver call them. He was already familiar and drove us right there. The porter was waiting for us at the curb and carried our very heavy luggage back to the hotel for us and up all the stairs to our room.

right in the old Medina and 5 minute walking distance to the kasbah Oudayas! the room was luxurious with modern amenities but still has the Arab authentic feel. highly recommend.
