L'emplacement est idéalement situé au cœur de la médina (calme), mais aussi à proximité de l'océan et de la ville plus moderne. La chambre familiale est très belle, bien équipée : petit réfrigérateur, cafetière, bouteilles d'eau fournis tous les jours... La piscine sur le toit est très agréable, les serviettes sont toujours mis à disposition. Le personnel est très présent et prêt à répondre aux demandes. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux, varié, le patio pour y petit déjeuner est très agréable.

I liked the traditional building and location.

There was no separation between the toilet and the room. I stayed for a night and the smell coming from tge toilet was horrible. Coming from the sewer and it was disgusting. It was impossible to sleep. When I informed the staff they were not surprised and not offered another room. For the price they charge they should tell their guests about this condition. Breakfast was served with predefined options without having the option to pick as in a buffet. The windows were opening only towards the yard and could not be kept open as bugs could enter and the other guest would be looking directly in your room. The door was not possible to lock from indoors. I do not recommend the place .

Bien sûr, voici votre avis complet avec ces éléments intégrés naturellement : J’ai séjourné deux jours dans ce Riad et j’ai passé un très agréable séjour. Le personnel est vraiment très sympathique, souriant et à l’écoute. Le Riad est très propre et particulièrement bien situé, ce qui permet de profiter facilement des alentours. Le petit déjeuner est parfait : tout est frais, très bon et de grande qualité. Seul petit bémol, il n’y a pas d’expresso au petit déjeuner, ce qui est un peu dommage. Concernant la chambre, j’ai malheureusement rencontré un problème d’odeur d’humidité, probablement lié à une fuite sous l’évier ou au niveau des toilettes. Heureusement, le problème a été rapidement pris en charge et j’ai pu changer de chambre dès le lendemain. Je regrette simplement que le changement n’ait pas pu être effectué le jour même, car l’odeur était assez gênante. Malgré ce petit désagrément, l’ensemble du séjour reste très positif. Je recommande ce Riad pour son emplacement, sa propreté, la qualité de l’accueil et la gentillesse du personnel. Je peux aussi vous faire une  version plus chaleureuse et élogieuse, idéale pour Booking ou Google, tout en conservant vos petites remarques.

Tolle Unterkunft inmitten der Stadt, trotzdem super ruhig. Sehr nettes Personal und wunderbares Frühstück. Der Pool ist völlig ausreichend und die Dachterasse ist sehr schön zum Sonnenuntergang inkl. Getränken.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln, außer vielleicht das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

No me gustó la piscina , no por su estilo que era precioso si no porque se aprecia en el agua cosas blancas flotando...y eso nos dejó un poco insatisfechos. El agua caliente de la ducha tarda mucho en salir a la luz! Pero luego si sale bien caliente

Location is problematic; within the medina, it is inaccessible by taxi or by foot without navigating a complex, maze-like network of alleys, taxis drop you at a car park, leaving you to navigate the remainder of the way independently with luggage, staff arranged a taxi to the the airport for us, the driver overcharged us, took a €5 "mandatory" tip then left us on the roadside outside the airport. The Riad fell short of basic standards, no bar facilities, stairs leading to the bedroom were steep and dangerous with only rope to support you when climbing them, we felt unsafe so forced to sleep downstairs, there was a makeshift seating area that was essentially a disguised box, lack of privacy as a simple curtain served as the toilet door. The room layout was poorly conceived, it led directly into the breakfast area so we were woken daily at 7:00 AM by staff arrivals. Given the premium price paid, the value for money was non-existent. We could have secured far superior accommodations with better amenities and accessibility at a standard hotel. We will not be returning and would not recommend to others.

L'accueil est chaleureux avec un thé marocain et des biscuits. Le lieu est très raffiné et bien décoré. La chambre est propre et à la fois moderne et typique. Il y a une piscine extérieure sur le toit très agréable avec des transats. Le petit déjeuner est fait maison. Vous pouvez y loger sans peur.

Les 2 seuls problème de ce logement sont la salle d'eau sans porte et le fait que pour éteindre toutes les lumières, cela coupe aussi l'électricité des prises.

Les chambres et espaces communs étaient d'une propreté impeccable (ménage tous les jours) et le fait qu'il y ait des serviettes propres pour la piscine constamment montre à nouveau l'attention du personnel envers les résidents.

Un séjour idéal à Rabat. Une très grande chambre, une piscine en rooftop rafraîchissante, une équipe accueillante. Tout était parfait.

Very good, big enough room in two floors. Clean and good bathroom. Well decorated. Good location, close to the are side, beach and city streets. Very kind staff.

I stayed for 3 nights in this Riad during May - It was a stop in between Tanger and El Jadida. The room I got was very clean and spacious. All rooms are different so be carefull when you book. Some rooms have steps inside the room. Breakfast was the best I had during my 'road trip'. It is not served very quick so make sure you go down for breakfast on time if a guide or driver is picking you up. -- especially if there is a group in the Riad. The staff in the kitchen and the cleaners are very friendly. I enjoyed the rooftop to read my book in the evening.

Unfortunately, my husband and I only got to spend one night in this beautiful Riad. We stayed in the Prestige Suite with the terrace on the second floor. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was stunning and there were all mod cons – safe, hairdryer, kettle and Nespresso machine (!), A/C… it was very quiet and peaceful and we got a great night’s sleep. The pool looked tempting with a pleasant enough temperature (in April) although we didn’t have time to try it out (two other guests were swimming while we checked it out). Breakfast in the courtyard was lovely. We had dinner at Kalaa which was very good in an equally beautiful courtyard. Even the Moroccan house red was extremely pleasant. We managed to get ourselves lost in the Medina on our way home from dinner (we had made a detour to the Kasbah des Oudaias which is in easy walking distance) but never felt concerned as the place had a very relaxed feel, even after dark. Would definitely recommend.

Les chambres ont des ouvertures donnant sur la pièce centrale. Le matin difficile de dormir lorsque les autres clients sont au petit déjeuner. Une sensibilisation lors des arrivées seraient un plus.

Prachtig design we hadden standaard kamer erg mooi maar als je naar wc moet nachts dan moet je trap af. Ook erg smal naast bed. Zou volgende keer iets grotere kamer nemen. Advies aan iedereen Vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt met super veel zorg bereid. Mogelijk avondeten in de andere locatie was ook erg goed echter denk dat ze alles al tevoren maken je besteld al bij reserveren Het was wel zeer goede maaltijd. We hadden beide salade vooraf en vis als hoofdgerecht .

We (an American couple) stayed in Riad Kalaa 2 for one night in spring 2026 and it set the standard for all riads on our trip after that. They welcomed us with Moroccan mint tea with cookies, provided a map of the city (very helpful!), and suggested several nearby restaurants (sister Riad Kalaa was full that night). The breakfast was fantastic and included made to order omelets, fresh fruit, Moroccan msemmen bread, and more. We stayed in the "Casablanca" room on the second floor that was spacious and nicely decorated. First floor rooms open directly onto the courtyard where meals are served, so that could be awkward. The wifi upstairs was spotty and our toilet had a constant drip. The bed was very comfortable and the room very dark so we slept great! We definitely recommend Riad Kalaa 2 to other travelers in Rabat.

They should mention room in ground floor so there is no confusion. It was fine, just that it’s next to breakfast area so early guests tend to be a bit loud in the morning.

Wonderful property located in the Rabat Medina. Very helpful staff; quiet and convenient location. Includes breakfast which was terrific - formal restaurant (which is excellent, wine is available!) is in sister property, Riad Kalaa, a 2 minute walk. Nice rooftop deck and pool. Room even had a wood burning fireplace and adjustable mood lighting. When back in Rabat, I will certainly stay at Riad Kalaa2 again. Kevin

Le décor de ce riad est absolument sublime !!!! La chambre est spacieuse ainsi que la salle de bain. Le petit déjeuner était très bien. Sanaa est géniale et s'adapte à toutes nos demandes. Khalid a su nous trouver d'excellents restaurants.

Le fait de ne pas avoir de noir complet dans la chambre. La piscine n'était pas nettoyée mais vu la pluie, pas très grave.

We stayed at Kella 2 Hotels and unfortunately felt that the price did not match the quality or service we received. We paid €148 + €28 in taxes, which is quite high considering the overall experience. The riad itself looked nice in pictures, but the service and facilities did not meet the expectations for this price range. We believe the value offered is unfair compared to the amount charged, especially when compared with other accommodations we stayed at in Morocco that provided much better quality for a similar or even lower price. We hope the management improves the level of service, cleanliness, and attention to detail so that future guests can have an experience that truly matches the cost.

High-quality breakfast, prepared and served with attention to detail. Extremely caring and attentive staff, who made the stay very enjoyable and comfortable. The location is unique and perfect for those who want to experience small-scale authentic accommodation close to the bustling nightlife and markets of the medina yet extremely quiet and calm at the same time. You won't hear anything from outside and before from the cool and sturdy walls. Everything of very high standard.

Absolutely fine for me but be aware that you will need to walk out of the medina if you want to use taxi or public transport, which will take you min 10 minutes.

This is an amazing riad,really beautiful, fantastically comfortable beds and a wonderful breakfast every morning. Our stay was made even better with the fabulous staff who were very attentive to any of our needs and recommend lots of fabulous restaurants and places to go. It is central and close to everything yet really peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommended

As with many places in Morocco, the staff is what makes this road so very special. We were warmly welcomed by the manager Sanae, and she was incredibly helpful orienting us to the city and and getting us reservations. The night manager, Khalid, was willing to walk us to restaurants in the evening if we needed him. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the breakfast is excellent. We dined at the sister riad (Riad Kalaa) which was truly excellent. Great linens and comfortable beds.

The riad is very nice and the staff are very helpful . They also offer a pick up service from the airport and the driver will take you to the riad as it’s hard to find first time. It’s €25 the driver was there with our names on a sign when we landed.

The WiFi is very weak particularly if you have work to do. Also I booked a standard room ( Ifrane) all the rooms have names. Which turned out to be basically a box room. The room is small, narrow and very claustrophobic. Ok if staying one night, but we were there for four. No proper area to sit down only two chairs under the stairs as the bed is up a flight of stairs. You are looking out at a brick wall followed by a second wall. The lighting is terrible, and even if you sit on the chair you have to be careful not to bang your head getting up. My husband is 6 1. There are other rooms in the riad that are lovely such as Casablanca, Rabat and feis. As I looked at these when there but avoid Ifrane pay the extra for a nicer room. Also if you want dinner you have to go to riad kalaa 1 which is 1 minute away. This riad does not offer lunch or dinner just breakfast. And the lunch menu is the same as the dinner menu which is 3 courses for €29. Which is not ideal at lunch time when you want a snack. Therefore you have to go outside in search of something to eat. Also the AC did not work which left the room very very warm both day and night. Be aware that upstairs you have to climb into the bed as there is no room to comfortably get in by the side due to the narrow space. So not suitable for anyone with mobility, breathing problems as you will also have to go down a flight of stairs to use bathroom at night time.

Great Riad! Great experience. Everything was nice. Staff, rooms, breakfast, location, very comfortable. Staff were very helpful with recommendations. Not really much hot water though. No door to bathroom.. only a curtain.. not ideal for families with grown kids.

This riad was beautiful. The staff was amazing. They went above and beyond to ensure that we had a wonderful stay. We did not want to leave! Jiscar and Sana and their staff took excellent care of us. Even though we left for tours early in the morning before breakfast, Jiscar accommodated us by serving breakfast a little early. I would highly recommend this riad. We hope to return to Morocco one day. We want to stay there when we return. This riad was also very close to some important sights and attractions in Rabat Medina, and it was close to the beach.

Such a great Riad here in Rabat. In the Medina, along the whitewashed lanes with the ornate wooden doors, Riad Kalaa 2 has a sunny courtyard, beautifully decorated rooms, and fabulous breakfast with pastries, omelette, coffee, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. The people were incredibly hospitable and welcoming. We would gladly stay again! We enjoyed dinner at the Riad Kalaa (1) just two minutes away. The meal was delicious. Lamb tajine was delicious and the duo of fish was worth a mention. The dessert was perfect - a nice blend of sweet and savoury.

We stayed at the Riad Kalaa 2 for our final two nights in Morocco. Most review will say it is a little distance from the car drop off point. With the Riad not having a sign outside, better to have someone guide for the first time. We were given the Ifrane room on level 2. It’s a smallish room with the bed and TV on a loft, which meant having to go up and down stairs. The room is not very well lighted though or maybe it’s just me. Leaving the curtains opened during the day helps. We can only call the room crammed. Has a small fridge and the smallest in-room safe I’ve ever encountered. No kettle in the room nor coffee making machine though helpfully, there were a couple of bottles of water provided. The bathroom is under the sleeping area. The shower area is however not fully enclosed and so one has to be careful not to spray water everywhere. Moroccan breakfast is served between 7:30 to 10:30 in the central courtyard. Helpfully, they do have laundry services. The restaurant is in big sister, Riad Kalaa, a short walk away that has a sign out front! The food was delicious and as a bonus, alcohol can be served. We tried a Moroccan red wine which was great. The riad is a beautiful property with excellent and friendly service. However, after much consideration, we decide to suggest avoiding the Ifrane room unless you are a sole occupant without mobility issues.

The employees are extremely kind. The rooftop with the small pool is amazing.

The rooms on the ground floor are a bit dark - if available I recommend asking for a room on one of the upper floors.

We had an amazing magical stay! The Riad was beautiful, the room (junior suite) very comfortable and the location is perfect to enjoy an authentic experience within the medina, explore the historical sites of the city or admire the Ocean. The rooftop with the small pool was a fantastic bonus to relax after our visits and enjoy Rabat sun and view. The staff was very friendly, special thank you to Sanaa who’s been so helpful!

Internet was a bit unstable but that was maybe more a general local issue than a specific one related to the Riad.

A lovely Riad, tucked away , but still close by to markets and beach. The staff were helpful and friendly. Added bonus was the lovely pool on the rooftop terrace to cool down after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast was lovely and we had the room on the top floor and would definitely stay again !

Conveniently located in the Medina, this riad had beautiful and well appointed rooms. There was a small rooftop pool that was perfect in the August heat! The staff were outstanding, providing great recommendations and preparing an excellent breakfast in the morning. The location in the Medina may make it a little challenging to find the first time, but the staff were very helpful with directions and helped us transport the luggage.

Our room at Riad Kalaa was unique, with a bed upstairs in a loft; it was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very communicative and accommodating. In particular this is a great location for access to the beach and other sites around Rabat. Highly recommend!

WiFi inconsistent and patchy. Kitchen not open to guests for coffee or the lovely smelling staff lunches! Water from the shower spills into the toilet area, this is common across the riads.
