I liked its beautiful architecture but it was not well maintained.

From the very beginning of our stay, we had a disappointing experience with this homestay. When we arrived, the property looked deserted, and there was no one to welcome us. After waiting for about 25 minutes, we asked a shopkeeper next door to contact someone from the homestay. Eventually, a staff member arrived, but he did not seem welcoming. I asked whether it would be possible to stay a couple of hours beyond the check-out time the next day. He called the owner and handed me the phone. Unfortunately, the owner was even less friendly and said that we would be charged an hourly fee for any late check-out. After calculating the cost, I realized it would actually have been cheaper to book an additional night. Guests were asked to remove their shoes before entering the lobby, even though the floor appeared dirtier than the soles of our shoes. The Wi-Fi connection was also very slow. We found a cockroach in the bathroom, and there was a gecko running around on the walls near the ceiling. The following morning, after breakfast, we checked out immediately and moved to another homestay that was both cheaper and significantly better, where we were able to stay comfortably until our flight. I am generally a very easygoing traveler and usually give properties very high ratings. It is extremely rare for me to leave a negative review, but unfortunately, this was one of the most disappointing accommodation experiences I have had.

It was a very comfortable stay, including nice hot shower and comfy bed! He picked me up from the airport, and his wife made me a nice lunch! The place is typically Sri Lankan with beautiful furniture and decorations throughout, and it has high ceilings creating spacious rooms for the guests! ... They also offer money exchange right there with good rates, no need to go to Money Exchange store or high priced ATM!

The weather is stifling hot with high humidity in Colombo at this time of year (May). And I came from Panama! ... But that's not any fault of Ace Boutique Hotel. They did all to offer a very comfortable stay!!

Great location only 5 mins to the airport. Lovely family made us so welcome and made us a gorgeous meal as well as breakfast. Clean comfortable room and great shower in the bathroom. Highly recommend.

Absolutely nothing it was great

I was quite surprised upon arrival at the hotel when we were asked to remove our shoes. For a moment, I genuinely thought we had mistakenly entered a mosque. It is not appropriate to ask guests to remove their shoes when entering a hotel. Additionally, the bathroom facilities were shared between two rooms. This created an uncomfortable situation, as we had to walk out with towels to access the toilet, while other guests could be dining nearby and clearly see us. This is not acceptable in terms of privacy. We also noticed that some European guests were provided with attached bathrooms, which felt inconsistent and unfair. Furthermore, there was no blanket provided in the room, and no assistance was offered regarding the Wi-Fi access. Basic guest service expectations were not met. I was also very concerned when the staff requested us to cancel our Booking.com reservation and pay directly. As a hotelier myself—and a Booking.com Genius member—I found this request highly inappropriate and unprofessional, and I refused to comply. As a Resident Manager of a 238-room hotel, I fully understand hospitality standards, and unfortunately, this experience fell far below acceptable levels.

Tiszta, házigazda nagyon kedves

Nagyon kicsi ágy, ahol a fejünkre közvetlenül jött a legkondi, ami nagyon erősen fújt. Így bekapcsolni éjszakára nem lehetett. A ventillátort sem lehetett szabályozni. Így nagyon meleg ,izzasztó volt az éjszaka.

That we stay only two nights. And the part time staff was helpful. Very quiet.

we did not like bedroom, room door is not good, breakfast so bad as there was just a cold sandwich and a banana. Better not offer any. wifi connection is terrible , we message to hotel no reply on a time, and staff says they are not pay the wifi bill. The location is not very good as there are no restaurants around for vegetarians. This is a transit hotel only--one night and that is it.

Het was gemakkelijk bereikbaar vanaf het vliegveld en dichtbij de tuktuk-verhuur.

Niet tot nauwelijks gastheer of gastvrouw gezien. Er was gewoon niemand. Tevens zat onze eigen badkamer buiten onze kamer.

Had to be accommodated in sister property ace transit hotel due to staff sickness . All was fine at this alternative

The hosts were incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful, always making sure I was comfortable and well looked after. Their hospitality really made a difference and added a personal touch to my stay. The surroundings were quiet and relaxing, making it a perfect place to rest and unwind.

De kamer was schoon en het bed comfortabel. Locatie niet ver van het vliegveld.

Het check-in proces was vreemd. Voor onze vlucht contact gehad met de host om aan te geven hoe laat we aan zouden komen en er zou iemand zijn om ons in te checken. We kwamen rond de afgesproken tijd aan. Bij aankomst was de poort dicht en er werd niet gereageerd op de deurbel. Uiteindelijk hebben we zelf de poort opengekregen, zodat we om 23:00 niet op straat stonden te wachten. De voordeur van het verblijf was open, maar niemand aanwezig. We hebben bij alle deuren aangeklopt; geen antwoord. Uiteindelijk de eigenaar gebeld en na 20 minuten kwam hij aan om de check-in te doen. Wetende dat de poort van buiten te openen is en de voordeur niet op slot ging voelde het niet compleet veilig, als enige personen in het verblijf.

Personne n'est venu nous ouvrir à notre arrivée, quand le gérant est arrivé il nous a dit qu'il y avait un probleme avec notre reservation, nous a proposé de nous emmener dans un autre hotel, puis finalement nous a proposé une chambre mais avec salle de bain partagée. Toute la nuit il y a eu enormement de bruits de la part du gérant, il était au telephone, regardait des films etc, le lendemain après une nuit tres compliquée il nous a reveillé en tapant à la porte à 8h pour qu'on prenne le petit dejeuner... Je recommande de ne surtout pas dormir la si vous aimez les vacances et dormir

Ace Boutique Hotel に宿泊して、本当に素晴らしい体験ができました。スタッフの対応が丁寧で親切、チェックインからチェックアウトまでとてもスムーズでした。お部屋は清潔感があり、デザインもおしゃれで落ち着ける空間でした。ベッドも快適で、ぐっすり眠れました。 ロケーションも抜群で、アクセスが良く観光や移動にも便利です。次回も必ず利用したいと思います。心からおすすめできるホテルです！

Отель расположен вблизи шоссе,которое сложно даже перейти , к сожалению не нашли места, где можно было бы покушать, вокруг нет кафе, кроме большого супермаркета Приехав в гостиницу нас никто не встретил, мы сами открыли ворота, еле дозвонились до хозяина, который прислал помощника. Он забрал деньги и сразу же уехал. В доме мы остались одни, было непривычно и жутковато. Дом не закрывается, лучше не оставлять ценных вещей, так как кто-то может так же приехать на ночевку или на несколько часов перед аэропортом. В холодильнике тоже лучше ничего не оставлять, так как ночью могут заехать другие туристы и съесть что то из ваших продуктов, потому что кухня с холодильником общая. С нами так и произошло.

Lage und Preis war top. Für einen kurzen zwischen Aufenthalt völlig ausreichend.

CheckIn war etwas komisch, es war niemand vor Ort, ich habe dann die angegebene Nummer angerufen und der Host meinte er kommt gleich, war aber nach 45min immer noch nicht da.

Great place to stay when arriving in Sri Lanka. The room was nice, the breakfast was good, and it’s very conveniently located close to both the airport and tuktuk rental. The guesthouse is slightly away from the main street, hence it's quiet.

Wir waren in einem Zimmer, wo wir die ganze Nacht über das Schnarchen und den Fernseher des Gastgebers gehört haben. Unsere Zimmer waren im Badezimmer durch einen großen Spalt in der decke offen. Obwohl alle anderen Zimmer leer waren waren wir in dem Zimmer, welches mit den Gastgeber verbunden war.

Goed hotel! Dichtbij het vliegveld, alles is netjes en schoon. Prima voor een nachtje als je een ochtend vlucht hebt. Heel lekker ontbijt en dat hadden ze ivm met mijn vlucht tijd extra vroeg geregeld, super!

De communicatie vooraf via de Booking chat had iets beter gekund. Maar was geen probleem! :-)

Obiekt położony blisko lotniska. Mój samolot lądował o godzinie 02:50 rano, mimo to nie było problemu ze zorganizowaniem transferu do hotelu. Komunikacja z gospodarzem jak i kierowcą przebiegła bez zarzutu. Śniadanie było w porządku. Jest to dobre miejsce jeżeli ktoś szuka noclegu w okolicach lotniska.

The owner was very pushy with the drivers service and there was nothing to see around.

Wij kwamen laat in de middag aan, maar er was niemand thuis. Konden zelf naar binnen lopen. Savonds kwam er iemand voor de check in.

Todo fue excelente. La ubicación es ideal, muy cerca del aeropuerto y lugares turísticos. El lugar es tranquilo, limpio y acogedor. Los anfitriones son muy amables y atentos. ¡Recomendado al 100%!
