Reviewed Sep 19, 2026Convenient location to walk to Renens station and to the university/EPFL campus. The hotel is new, so I heard no noise from the neighboring rooms at all. I like the bed. Enough light in the room.
Things I liked less, but that were not too bad: Wifi was flaky. Breakfast was quite basic (little fresh things). Difficult to find the hotel if you arrive by foot. Next to a highway.

Hard to tell for this kind of hotel. It has good value for money. It's not realistic to expect more.

De kamer was te warm en airco/luchtverversingssysteem werkt niet goed. Raam openzetten geeft geen verlichting en is ook niet aan te raden ivm lawaai van de snelweg.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026First of all, the property is located near a highway, so it can be pretty loud. However, if you close the window, you can’t hear anything. The sound insulation is really good. I also didn’t hear my neighbors. I’m not sure if there were any (probably!), but I didn’t hear a thing. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was large. The Wi-Fi was really strong, and overall, I really liked the area. There’s a tram stop and a few grocery shops just a couple of minutes away.
Sadly, some of the negative experiences described in previous reviews also applied to my stay. The room is very dark, and I really question the design choices. There is no wallpaper on one of the walls, which makes it look unfinished and unattractive. The AC is not very powerful (I’m not even sure it was working properly). There is no wardrobe, just a rack to hang your clothes. There is also no door to the bathroom, which is a really strange choice. The toilet and shower share a door that you have to slide left and right. I understand that this is probably meant to save space, but it is very impractical. The breakfast is very simple. More importantly, the staff was not particularly friendly, and one day, one of the staff members only finished preparing breakfast at 6:20. For people who are on a tight schedule, this is a significant delay. Someone also mentioned that you can hear the gym below. I didn’t hear much, but there was one piece of fitness equipment that was particularly noticeable. It was vibrating and/or transmitting sound through the walls. And this was really annoying. Overall, it’s an okay hotel, more or less as described in the previous reviews.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Check-up is easy, really clean and quiet location. Close to a bus stop and close enough to the m1 line. Price was better than average for the region of Lausanne but quality was good.
Air conditioning was not working in the hotel for one night because of a technical problem but staff gave me a fan and climatization was back working the next day.

Alla sera il bar è chiuso, è possibile prendere una bottiglietta d'acqua solo dalle macchinette. Parcheggio molto comodo, ma costoso.
