Beaucoup de choix au déjeuner, endroit super bien restauré et très propre. Chambre spacieuse et bien équipée.

Code non reçu en arrivant. J'ai dû sonner pour me le procurer. On entend fort le train et la douche de la chambre voisine. Très bruyant. La dame impose des œufs et du yaourt au petit-déjeuner sans demander mon avis. Même si c'était bon, c'est dommage car cela engendre un gaspillage inutile.

Sehr gelungener Umbau eines Bahnhofsgebäudes in Appartements. Klimatisiert. Durchdacht eingerichtet mit schönen öffentlichen Bereichen innen und außen.

Das Zimmer war für und drei sehr großzügig und alles war vorhanden , insgesamt sehr sauber und wir bekamen ein traumhaftes Frühstück vor unserer Fährüberfahrt nach Dover

Tout est parfait dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont magnifiques, très spacieuses et parfaitement fonctionnelles. Le personnel est top, aux petits soins et soucieux de faire tout à la perfection et c'est réussi. Le petit déjeuner est grandiose. Une magnifique adresse où il fait bon vivre. Je recommande ++++++

I had a very pleasant stay at Gare55 in Evergem. The place has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, with tasteful decoration that gives it a unique charm. Everything was impeccably clean, which made the experience even more comfortable. It’s a great spot if you’re looking for a quiet, well-kept place with attention to detail. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

Hetbis prachtig en lekker rustig gelegen. Ideaal voor een dagje Gent. Het is zeer sfeervol en goed aangeduid, dus makkelijk te vinden.

Automatisch inchecken met code is perfect maar je mist toch de mens achter de accommodatie. Het toilet geeft enkel water aan de achterkant van het toilet maar spoelt geen water rondom waardoor het niet goed schoon spoelt.

Situated in small village, quiet, located centrally to visit Bruxelles, Anvers, Brugges, sea,, Gand, and south Netherlands. Great qualitative renovation job of an old station in a modern, industrial, technical and eco-friendly way. Owners friendly. Practical, cosy and big shared kitchen and living room (in addition to kitchen corner in room). Delicious smells in the whole building. sink, fridge, dishes, microwave in the room. Big bathroom, big shower, soap, shampoo, ... Individual confortable beds (can work for double or twin), we had a 3-bed room (there's only one like this) Dishes and drinks available from vending machine. Breakfast upon request (not tested) You can walk to the village center (butcher, bakery, hairdresser...)

I like the way an old train station was transformed into a series of modern, well-equipped rooms.

Super clean apartment with really comfortable beds and great shower room. The access to the large and well equipped kitchen meant we could cook our own dinnner, which we very much appreciated.

Niet veel.,.hebben geen ontbijt genomen dus kan er niets over vertellen.

L’originalité du lieu le long des rails, l’histoire du lieu, le détail des finitions architecturales, l’agencement, les espaces partagés hyper conviviaux, lieux de partage et d’échanges, le confort, le petit déjeuner extraordinaire, et les proprios /le personnel aux petits soins.

Disons que le lieu est assez perdu. Le village n’est pas hyper animé, mais en 20 min vous êtes à Gand et en 10 min aux Pays Bas.

On n’a pas trouvé l’emplacement du « Honesty bar » pour acheter les plats surgelés (mais on a bien trouvé le bar à boissons !!)

Beautiful finish to the room. Funky decorations and it’s the first time in a long time that I have come across a shower that is as good as the one in my home.

The lack of a bathroom door. I thought humans had evolved much farther than hanging a piece of cloth between sleeping quarters and the toilet/bathroom. This was the only negative but it is a big one and would stop me visiting again.

Très agréable séjour, le seul doute concerne mon arrivée ou je cherchais l'indication du studio 7 et non d'une chambre n°7.

Everything. The renovation of the property is fabulous. It’s all excellent quality. The breakfast was delicious and a great varied choice. The staff were lovely and helpful. The labels on the bath and shower bottles were a lovely touch.

I only booked a few hours earlier that day so we ended up with 2 mattresses but within a confined double bed. My friend doesn’t like sleeping that cozily! Also there was only a curtain between the sleeping area and the lovely bathroom!! Too intimate for just friends! However don’t take this as a negative as we really loved the place and would definitely return.

The Owner dis à great job at offering a very nice hotel in the area as the other options are very poor. Their take on renovating this train station is great. Decoration is on point. It’s comfortable and has everything you need during your stay. The self-check-in works great. Staff was very flexible when we showed up for breakfast but had forgotten to reserve before hand. They went out of their way to make sure we could eat everything on the menu like other guests. It’s also super clean which is also a plus point.

The only thing that is a tiny detail! The waiting light (green dot) of the security light (in case of a fire) above the front door is very bright and for people like us who like our room dark it was too bright. As it’s on the ceiling we couldn’t cover it. But then again most people would never notice :)

Gare 55 is a converted railway station. The conversion is exceptional, with fine attention to detail and highest quality fittings used throughout. We were impressed and commented to each other about a number of the smart design choices. Although the room is quite small (due to constraints of fitting into the existing station building), the space has been used in the most efficient way possible. Clearly the main market is for single business travellers looking for a self-contained flat for stays of a week or longer, but it works very well for a couple. Bed was very comfortable and room lacked nothing. There is a large shared kitchen area with indoor and outdoor seating. This provided a nice place to sit in the evening as well as the possibility of preparing one's own meals. The hosts were warm and welcoming. Location is great for day trips to Gent (10 Km from the nearest P+R with tram access to city centre).

Nothing, I think this is the most perfectly-designed place I have ever stayed.

Skønt værelse og hotel. Der er lidt langt til indkøb og spisesteder, men vi nød freden om aftenen. Skønne Gent kan nås med bussen for billige penge.

Super ervaring in alle opzichten, inrichting, netheid, comfort, gezelligheid, rust. Zeer enthousiaste vriendelijke uitbaters, er is gedacht aan ieder detail. Ontbijt was subliem!

I had an amazing experience staying at Gare 55 Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone. The hospitality was excellent, they highly care about your comfortable stay. The rooms are clean, modern design and easily self-access. Located in a calm area, it offers a peaceful retreat while still being conveniently located. The breakfast is excellent and everything is fresh. Overall, Gare 55 provided an outstanding experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

No staff, everything has to happen via QR-thing.

Smelt stale in the room - could still smell the previous person’s must in there. Train tracks next to the property which was noisy and woke me up in the night. Breakfast was extortionate and not good value for money.

i object to the toilet supposed modern design of NO DOORS. Sorry but this is stupid . i had to open the room door for ventilation. it is not nice to smell the toilet . recommend a door immediately
