Everything about this place was disappointing. it’s an Airbnb, and the entire building has serious humidity issues. There was water on the gym floor, a wall with visible damage and mold, and even the bathroom had mold. Worst of all, the neighborhood felt extremely unsafe. There were people urinating and defecating on the street, and walking around at night felt genuinely dangerous.

Owner is very helpful and responds very quick. Apartment had everything you need. Cozy and modern furniture and equipment

The view from the apartment and the facilities in the apartment and building were great.

The 2 block radius around the apartment are terrifying for a solo female traveler and I am not worried normally.

The location is very close to the center and the acropolis.

The neighborhood where the apartment is located and the surrounding neighborhoods are a bit scary.

They provided plenty of toiletries etc

Location is awful, in a very rough area. The studio room is depressing with little natural light. It’s just not a nice place to stay on holiday - a lot better elsewhere.

Clean, well organised and equipted apartment, easy check in, quite street (comparing to others in Athens), good security, no major issues.

The only disadvantage of this apartment is the street on which the house is located, some abandoned houses around the area and some weird people on the street. We were only guys, so it didn't scare us, but someone might feel awkward. It all looks fine just 2-3 streets away, so no big deal.

The room was beautiful. (Construction going on across the street too). So no sleeping in. The location of the room not so great for a single female who likes late nights (although I had no issues). Once on the property you are VERY secure. Communication with host was off and on speed wise although they were VERY pleasant. The bed was quite comfortable. I would think after a lengthy stay there would be extra toiletries, change of towels, bedding. Yes, I know it's not a hotel but I have stayed in Air B n B's before. Not my first rodeo. I shouldn't have to pay extra for a change of bedding/towels etc. I don't need the room cleaned etc. Don't think you will get ice cubes with the huge amount of ice crystals in the freezer of the fridge either. Had some days with very limited hot 💧 as well. Overall, yes I would stay there again as the location is close to the train, port and other many attractions. As a traveller you can never expect perfect or you would be continually disappointed for what you pay for accomodation (especially if your home country is not the Euro). I look for value, customer service, hospitality and plain common sense. A wee bit disappointed but I would give this place a second chance.

It was nicely equipped and comfortable, mostly clean , only the balcony was dusty in the room of Andromeda (on the roof top, view is nice in the evenings and nights from balcony and terrace), I cleaned it by myself. I stayed also my first week in the room Chameleon, it was also very clean, however no terrace or balcony, it was good though.

For staying in the room Andromeda, note that it is on the 7th floor and the elevator is till 6th , if you have heavy luggage you will need to carry it up and down, that part is not very comfortable. Also the luggage storage/locker room is on the -1 floor and no elevator again, it’s also not very comfortable, you should change the luggage storage/locker room on to the 0 floor. When you are traveling alone with heavy luggage this is really not easy taking it up and down alone. The area of the building is not in a very nice district, sometimes it seemed dangerous in the evenings and also needles/garbage at some parts of the street nearby. When you are alone traveler, not really recommended to walk and be alone there.

they promised us a balcony on the website but when we got there they said it was a mistake. When we called asking to move us to a different room they ghosted us. There is mold and shroom growing in the gym below due to a water leak.

We liked the room itself. Everything was clean, bed was nice and seemed pretty secure. The metro was only about 3 blocks away. We really didn't like the neighborhood. It had a smelly dumpster right outside the front gate. It was tipped over for half the stay. Walking home after dinner didn't feel safe. It was very dark and fairly seedy. The front gate was broken and wouldn't lock for the last 2 days, we let the people know but it wasn't fixed before we left. There was construction across the street which started early, even on Saturday morning. There was no tea or coffee which is usually provided by most hotels and air b and bs. There were no maps or pamphlets pointing out restaurants or places to go with alternative ideas on how to get there. Finally there was live music going on somewhere near the residence, very loud, till 2 am Sunday morning.

The only thing this place has going for it, was that it was relatively newly renovated.

It had an overwhelming smell of damp, made noticable by the black mold everywhere, and the mushrooms growing on the walls in the gym. The one place you need the most fresh air.. It was also next to a whore house. And one street away from junkie haven where you need to watch were you step. There was no bath in the room or balcony that we paid extra for, photos show the "city views" that we didn't have and it's about as sound proof as a wet cardboard box.. Do yourself a favor spend more $ and stay somewhere else.

Not very close to public transportation. No map of the area provided making it difficult to get around. No "person" on site at any time to ask questions of.

-Good location, close enough to everything, but far enough to be not too hectic -We stayed on the 6th floor, with nice views over the rooftops and a generous patio style balcony -Enough space for a couple so that everything could be stored and stay nice and tidy

If hard pressed, I would say the building site on the other side of the road, but we were overall very happy and would definitely stay here again.

Property is great. Aircon is bot that effective, but OK. Location is a bit dodgy, next door to what appeared to be a brothel. 10 min walk to Psyri, which is the best reataurant/entertainment precinct in Athens

Very clean but area dicey. Noisy. Apartment was nice with great terrace. The essential problem was bedbugs.

Brand new top floor apartment with balconies on 2 sides within walking distance of subway, parks, and the Acropolis. Very easy to check in.

The apartment had everything, specially in the kitchen. All was new. It was a walking distance to the Acropolis (20-25 min) The area looks not too nice because of the graffiti, but all Athens is full of graffiti. The area was quite and easy to find.

The cushions of the chairs outside at the balcony, were not too clean. However, we didn't have time to relax there, we were always walking to Acropolis, which is very nice, full of restaurants and shops.

Although the area is not great outside the property the apartment hotel is amazing and has very secure facilities. Overall I highly recommend this place to stay if visiting the Acropolis as it’s not too far and the apartments are excellent. Just make sure you get transport to the apartment if arriving at night.

Very nice layout even though it is small. I has a big balcony with a nice set of couches and a swing. Convenient locaion.

The property is beautiful with all the amenities necessary, very secured and gated as well. It had an elevator, wich was great for my mother. The only thing I didn't like was, that there are two bars next to the property that don't look good, but I stayed inside the gate until my uber came to pick us up.

Quiet, safe, clean and has all the facilities you need. The overall design and make up of the apartment itself is fantastic and you have everything you need in an apartment from cooking supplies to an ironing board and iron. There is a washing machine downstairs and a little garage style gym that will get you through a nice workout with benches, bars and a good amount of plates. The building is generally very safe in of itself and is close to much of the downtown attractions, I had no issue walking everywhere in Athens. Staff interaction is limited but they seem generally helpful, the owner himself actually was very helpful as he came to my aid when I had locked myself out once. The price is also phenomenal.

The street can be sketchy at night.Mind your own business after 8pm, don’t be loud and you will be fine however.

I think I was lucky, but they let me check in early. The washing machine is free to use, and the gym has free weights. The room was clean, and there were plenty of towels. Mineral water was also provided. Perfect.

There was a brothel right next door, but I wasn't particularly worried about safety.

Great apartment…very clean and comfortable beds & pillows

Excellent hotel to stay despite the sketchy neighborhood. Although it's close to monastiraki square and other popular areas, walking towards your hotel at night could feel a bit uncomfortable. Nothing happened of course, but always use caution. However, once inside the hotel, you feel perfectly safe. The room was very super clean, staff was always available in case you needed anything. On a side note, I'd recommend taking Omonia station to get there, a bit of a longer walk to get there but better access for your luggage. Overall an affordable, secure and clean hotel to stay in Athens.

Management and front desk personal were extremely welcoming and nice! I celebrated my birthday here and they made me feel so special. Thank you so much for your kindness.

Some streets around seem dangerous.

Brand new rooms, well equipped with small kitchen, fridge and A/C. The communication with the staff was very efficient although there is no staff onsite and never to be seen. You will be given a bunch of codes to enter and you are on your own.

The location is dodgy at best. I have not felt unsafe, but it is not for the faint of heart and I felt better taking a cab at night. Take the wrong turn and you might be in trouble.

The location is very nice, silent, its almost in the cener , the room is very clean and have good and enought facilities.

I thing very thing is ok for me, i have no negative a idea. But a little bit recommendation., the face Washing cabinet is very little maybe better to make biger than.

The Starlight Residence is conveniently located. I was able to walk to most places...everything within a kilometer. The area doesn't look great, but as a single "senior" woman traveling alone, I did not feel unsafe in the area. The Wyndham Hotel is licated 2 blks away, and they had a nice restaurant. There was also a Vietnamese restaurant next door. Communication with the staff at Starlight was excellent. They ordered the taxi for me to go to the sirport. The apartment studio was niceky furnished and the air conditioning worked very well. It was HOT! outside, so very good to have a cool room! If you're an adventurous traveler, I recommend the Starlight Redidences. You are on yiur own, no onsite staff...but they are only sn email or call awsy!

Lovely spot, would definitely come back again. 10/10 customer service and just a nice spot to stay in. Great location between the tourist stuff and nightlife. Quick walk from multiple transit stops. Overall, great place :)

The location, area is not safe. The room even was not clean when we enter at 3.15 pm. But this was the cheapest and well looking option in that time. Not satisfied

Comfortable bed, clean facilities, helpful staff with great communication. Very secure with 2 security gates and a locked door to the apartment. Loved the large glorious jasmine bush on the balcony. Easy 10 minute walk to Athens’s best coworking space Pi55!

The basement laundry is a little grim, but it works. Returning after dark revealed some seedy activities in nearby streets, so would be inclined to return before 8pm if possible.

The host was extremely nice, provided us with coffee capsules, ordered a taxi to the airport and were available to answer every question we had.

Very hospitable place. The management took extra care to look after us. Were very responsive, supportive and kind! One of the best customer services I've experienced for a very long time.

Our stay here was excellent! Chris was super friendly and provided us with great recommendations on food and places to see. Appearances aside the area was very safe. Our stay was very close to many of the hot attractions such as the Acropolis and Monastiraki being about a 20 - 25 minute walk away. The property was well managed and very clean inside wth great amenities. We were very comfortable in our room and had an overall amazing time here. Would highly recommend to anyone who is a bit adventurous and open to walking around to get to places.

The lack of soundproofing - conversations in the corridors were fully audible in the room. The balcony was very disappointing. Also the fire alarm went off continuously one night from 3 a.m until next morning, when I was able to report it to property management. The area around the property was very dirty & seedy; not recommended for single female travellers!

The code supplied to gain access did not work and it it took a few hours to gain access. Very disappointed as we had travelled for 24 hours before arriving.

Dangerous, dirty and ugly neighborhood. Drug dealer and whorehouse area. Even a taxi driver living in the area told me that it was very dangerous and I should be careful. The flat was modern and clean.

A good one-room studio apartment with everything you need. Very convenient access with access codes. The house seems relatively new, there is also a gym and a laundry room in the basement. It is possible to park a car on the street near the house for free. To get to the area where there are all kinds of restaurants and bars next to each other, it only takes 5 minutes on foot.

The location of the apartment is between various derelict hotels/businesses and also between some quite old/abandoned houses. However, as it was experienced many times in Athens, the contrast between an area that does not inspire confidence and an area that already has all the cafes, restaurants and bars is often not even more than a hundred meters apart. Opposite the apartment is an old house, which, as a passer-by mentioned to us, is apparently a place for men's intimate entertainment, which is used very regularly by men of various ages. :) However, there were no incidents and the activity happening on the other side of the street did not affect our stay in any way. There is definitely a feeling of security in the apartment building, because there are countless surveillance cameras, as well as a code for the entrance gate, a code for the entrance door and also a code for the apartment door :)
