Muniara Villa Ubud

Excellent accomodation. Throughout our stay the hosts were very helpful, gracious and kind. By far the best accommodation myself and my partner have been at on this trip. Highly recommend 😁

I liked the location, which wasn’t in the central part of Ubud, but that had many advantages. We felt very well taken care of by our host, who provided everything we needed. The pool is a wonderful amenity for hot days

As for the downsides, I think the noise from the boiler in one of the rooms made it hard to sleep at night. If someone is sensitive, they might have a problem. The cleanliness of the pool was also insufficient

The value for money is something that you can consider but you need to set you expectations rather low, even for something that has a low cost.

It was probably the most unfortunate experience I had with an accommodation on booking.com. Objectively speaking, the overall cleanliness of this property needs significant improvements. Immediately after we checked in, we discovered that the toilet in one of the rooms was clogged, the sheets were dirty and the bathroom  and the outdoor kitchen were simply sticky. The toilet got continuously clogged throughout our stay.  Beyond that, our experience was extremely affected by the noise made by the water machine. It was a continuous humming and it was way beyond the supportability threshold. The next day we were promised that the problem would be solved. In short, the same type of dialogue followed for 3 days, until we checked out.  We were told every time that the problem was solved, but when we got back to the accomodation in the evening we discovered that the problem was still there. We were nonchalantly lied that the water machine had been changed, but that had not happened.   The villa has potential, but the degree of degradation and the lack of interest in maintaining cleanliness, especially in the bathrooms and the outdoor kitchen, are very noticeable. The location is not ideal, but this is a general problem in Bali. Whatever you need, you will need to take a taxi.  There are no restaurants near the villa or within walking distance. I would strongly encourage you to find a different accommodation.

Amazing beautiful villa is a quiet location, outside of Ubud centre. Everything was very nice and new, there were local restaurants around and we cooked our own breakfast from eggs and fruit bought from the local store. Great communication from the staff.

Very comfortable two bedroom villa with both bedrooms separated with their own bathrooms and locks so you could have seperate spaces. Good internet connection, quiet location but easy to Gojek everywhere.

Very secluded and quiet, Loved the villa and the ambience. The two bedrooms were fantastic. The place was neat and tidy. Although we did not use the outside kitchen very much it was nice to store food / drinks in the fridge. The swimming pool was clean and lovely to spend time around. The host or the people managing the property were very responsive to our needs.

Not that it mattered too much to us but the main ubud area is around 15mins walk from this place which is fine when there is daylight but do not recommend it during night.
