Afnan Cairo Airport

Lovely and helpful staff, and good location near the airport

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. My wife and I were told that we could not stay in the same room because we did not have our marriage certificate with us as proof of our marriage. What made the situation even more upsetting was when the receptionist asked us to provide pictures from our wedding ceremony as proof of our marriage. I explained that wedding pictures are private, and nowadays it is very easy to generate fake wedding pictures using AI. I did not understand how such pictures could be considered reliable proof of a marriage. I had just traveled a very long distance from the United States and was extremely tired after the trip. The last thing I expected was to arrive at the hotel and face this kind of situation, especially with my wife. What made it even more concerning was being told that if both guests were U.S. citizens, this would not have been an issue, but because one of us has an Arab nationality, additional restrictions could apply and security might be involved. I found this treatment extremely upsetting and felt that we were being treated differently based on nationality. We were simply a married couple who had forgotten to bring our marriage certificate. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this hotel and will not be staying here again.

The hotel is 10 min drive from the airport. Very easy to reach it by taxi during the night transit. Clean, AC, all amenities are in the room.

Perto do aeroporto

The people was very friendly and respectful and it was very nice stay especially Hag Mahmoud is the owner of the place and he is so nice and respectful and yousria made amazing breakage and her sweet and kind words , you fell like a family there . I really enjoy the stay, definitely we will come back

Super sauber, sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal

Location

Enterance, access

Its closeness to the airport and venue for my training as well as the breakfast it was also good value for the money spent

The fact that I booked a room without being told that the bathroom was opposite the room it was after booking and paying that I was informed that is not right afterwards I was informed that an upgrade was subject to availability and may be at an extra cost

Nice breakfast, staffs helpful, location near airport.

My room can't lock

I really liked it, only spend a night but it was near the airport, comfy beds, good AC, and I got breakfast to go!

Helpful staff. Good value for money. Convenient for the airport. Clean. Excellent aircon and WiFi.

Private bathroom outside the room.

Resepsiyon oda servisi sabah kahvaltı ulaşım herşey güzel dizayn edilmiş

I think this place is only suitable for overnight layovers—it’s about a 15-minute taxi ride to the airport, but it's too far from downtown Cairo. Breakfast is included in the price; it’s very basic, but fine for a quick bite. The room is spacious, and the staff is friendly. The hotel is easy to find as there is a large sign above the entrance, and taxi drivers know the place.

We arrived at night, and the water heater in the room hadn't been turned on before our arrival, so we had to either shower in cold water or wait until morning. Also, the hotel has a confusing system of walkways between floors and elevators, though this is more of a unique feature than a flaw.

Great hotel when you have an early morning flight the next day. The airport is really a couple of minutes away by car. I was really positively surprised when I realized I even had a balcony!

The hotel is like a labyrinth and you need to take various elevators and stairs to get to the lobby and then to your room. The rooms are fine but nothing special and a bit worn down, but not an issue at all for a night or so. If you still need to see the city, the location is definitely not optimal, look for something more central.

Perto do aeroporto e o quarto é Ok.

Clean and good

The bathroom outside the room and it was considered a room with a private bathroom

The room was basic but spacious and clean. The hotel is about a 6 km drive from the airport (around 15–20 minutes), which makes it very convenient for a short stay, especially if you have an early morning flight. It’s located in a busy area, so getting a taxi at any time was easy. The staff were helpful and spoke good English, and they even provided a takeaway breakfast at 6 am so we could eat before leaving. It would be better if the rooms included bottled water and a kettle. Overall, it offers good value for money and is definitely recommended for a short stay.

Kettle and drinking water were not provided in the room. It would also be better if the stairs were cleaned more regularly, especially since some rooms don’t have access to the lift.

Clean room, friendly staff

Nice hotel with friendly employees. Highly recommended!!!

Miła i pomocna obsługa. Działa przy recepcji mały bar z burgerami i pizza.

The staff were all very helpful.

It was not 2 km from the airport as advertised but was about 15 minutes from the airport so not bad . The street noise lasted well past midnight.

The lady in the Reception is very bad , she took extra money form me , and she asked me pay even i paid fully before i dont know her name , but her face is also looks disgusting , she dosent know how to treat guests always on moody face , i never ever prefer this place again , omg

Lo staff era molto accogliente! Posizione ottimale!

It's clean, they're attentive to your needs, I had a week's stay and everything was great, they provide breakfast, there are restaurants nearby and they have their own restaurant.

The property was quick to answer my question about a late check-in. Location was close to the airport and easy to find. Security was also present at check-in. Extremely safe place to stay. We picked this hotel because of the distance to the airport and later check out option. Check in staff was a great English speaker and offered multiple options to make our stay more convenient.

Nothing.
