the room itself was clean and confortable and the people who ran it were very nice, the location was good close to the ferry

the shared bathroom was not a great expereince, the sound traveled and you could hear people talking in the next room,the water boiler was not usable, I would suggest you just get an electric kettle

Great location, great value for money.

Shower wasn’t great, you could hear everything from people leaving early in the morning etc. early check out.

De kamer is nog geen 5 minuten lopen van de veerpont. Wij hadden kamer 3 met een eigen badkamer, wat erg prettig was.

Location was within walking distance of Knightstown

It was clean, and nicely decorated. Check-in and Check-out was very easy.

A personal preference I know, but for me the mattress was too hard.

The rooms are clean as is shared bathroom.The coffee making facilities were good. The property is in a good location and is quiet.

We booked two rooms- a twin and a doible. The twin room was fine. The double room was very small and the double bed was pushed up against the wall and unfortunately too small for a couple. It us a standard double size. Not a comfortable night sleep had in that room.

Water flow from the shower head is weak.

The shower is mounted too low, I'm quite a tall person but the shower was torture

The noise from the other guests,not their fault every move, footstep fart,or word spoken travelled through the house, also the communal bathroom,every sound could be heard..The curtains blocked out no light

The location was fabulous...

Sounds petty but the bedroom needs better curtains to keep out sunlight.. The mattress was a little uncomfortable too...

My room was very clean . Shared Tea & coffee facilities and a little fridge outside the room was very handy.

L'habitació molt correcta, situada ben aprop del centre del poble principal de l'illa de Valentia.

Communication via email about lockbox entry was timely and we had no trouble getting in. Room was clean and there was a smart tv.

It does feel like you’re in someone’s spare bedroom and I think the price could reflect the hostel feel better. Good to have a hot drink available when we got in but there were only caffeinated options, so nothing for my pre-teen to have. The beds are tiny and feel like cots, but we’re comfortable enough.

Amazing little town, amazing scenery - location very close to the ocean, 2 minutes of walk. Quite, cute, restful, super clean.

Its a bit difficult to reach the location and enjoy the little island if you dont have a car, but that has nothing to do with the location, which was excelent.

We got played and had to find a place to stay quick. I was pissed off and the host was real good at the time. He made me feel welcome and made some accommodations for me

The house is lovely and cosy, super clean. Second time staying here and won’t be my last. Absolutely love Valentia island 🫶🏻

Great property and area. However when booking on Expedia it says 24km to Dingle which was misleading. There is no ferry to Dingle and it's 114km by car.

Was clean and convenient, ample coffee/tea facilities.

Shower was a bit slow

It was fresh and immaculately clean. I felt safe as a woman by myself.

Couldn't figure out shower or telly,a pamphlet would be handy as they all operate differently

Stayed here one night in preparation for the boat trip to Skellig Michael which was sadly cancelled the next day due to rough seas and high winds. However, this was a lovely little place and we had a very pleasant stay. We stayed in the room with the attached bathroom and there was a great setup outside for coffee etc. which was much appreciated. Thank you!

Host was friendly and helpful. Facilities as advertised functional and clean.

Although a double bed one side against the wall so with my wife on the other side I has to climb over the end , no where on my side of bed to put anything . The bed was also lumpy. The bathroom was clean but shower was just off the mixer tap with low pressure.

Its was close to portmagee where we have family and it was very clean and easily accessible

The shared bathroom is a downside, and you can hear a good bit from the other rooms. No breakfast option also.

It's location to the ferry crossing is good and close to all the shops.

Have to ask for cutlery and plates and a bowl , there should be some in the room. Only 2 small towels are available even though they get changed every day , but for 2 people and the size of the towels isn't enough.

Super squeaky clean, I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Instructions for the TV would be helpful but we really didn't need them.

Lovely clean airy and bright room . My friend and I stayed for 3 nights . If you are staying I'd advise buying a pint of milk for tea or coffees , Lovely set up for tea or coffee on the landing . Just a 10 minute walk from the pier in Knightstown

The shared bathroom may be an issue for some . Didn't really bother me as it was kept spotless .

We liked the room and the easiness of checking in. Valentia Island is definitely worth a visit.

If it is possible to change the disposable paper cups for real once, it would be nicer for the guests and our environment too.

Very lovely place! We were not expecting such nice accommodations for the inexpensive cost. It was very clean and smelled lovely. The honey touches made it very cozy and the road was very quiet. An excellent place to stop for the night and a perfect distance for morning boat tours at Port Magee. Highly recommend!
