Green lights on the silling are so enojing during the night. Lack of electric plug ins. Room is nice, but super badly design. Can be not comfortable.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Sehr zentrale und ruhige Lage. Direkt im Zentrum. Angaben des Standortes stimmten nicht direkt überein. Es hat keinen Duschvorhang, ebenfalls kann die Badezimmertüre nicht offen gelassen halten. Im Schlafzimmer hat es ein grelles helles Notlicht, welches die ganze Nacht brennt, dies kann nicht abgedeckt werden und lässt keinen durchgehenden Schlaf zu. Ebenfalls ist es sehr ringhörig auf den Flur. Sonst sauber.

Reviewed Aug 25, 2026Struttura nuovissima, in posizione centrale direttamente sulla piazza. Comodo anche il ritiro chiavi presso un vicino minimarket. La struttura non ha un proprio parcheggio, ma sono presenti vari parcheggi a pagamento tra le ore 09:00 e le ore 18:00.
Stanza un po' piccola, poco spazio per appoggiare le cose.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026It's location is amazing, it is right on the diamond in Donegal. So you have access to all the shops, pubs and cafes at your doorstep. We enjoyed the view and just loved the vibe of Donegal. The bed was comfortable and shower was good. Getting the access card from the local Spar store was easy as well. We visited a number of pubs around Donegal and although not Galway, it still has a friendly pub culture.
No lifts so you have to lug all your luggage up either 1, 2 or 3 flights of stairs. Luckily we were located on the first floor so only one flight of stairs. There was a lady who was on the 2nd floor and we had to help her with her luggage. So keep that in mind if you have heavy luggage. There is also no parking and we struggled with finding parking until we understood the area a bit better.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Key collection was at the local Spar (very easy, 1 minute walk), albeit there is an app available to let yourself in without cards. The instructions are clear that there is no lift, so this didn't come as a surprise. If you struggle with the stairs and luggage, please be warned! The room we had overlooked the square in Donegal but the windows and shutters did a perfect job of blocking light and sound. The location in Donegal could not be better. The room size was much bigger than I was expecting, we were pleasantly surprised by it, including a large TV and sofa, fridge and lots of shelf space. The bed was comfortable and very large and having air con was great (although it wasn't hot when we visited).
Some additional hanging space would have been nice, especially considering the amount of space in the room generally. The other thing we didn't like was the wet room. Whilst the idea is good, it means the entire floor is covered in water after a shower - so once you are dressed and perhaps want to brush your teeth or go to the toilet, you either have to take your socks off or put down all of the towels to dry it. A little optional curtain would be a suggestion.

Just the stairs we were on the second floor , we were there for a wedding so taking all our wedding outfits on coat hangers and bags up and down the stairs was hard also my husband is 80 and just before we came he wasn’t to well he had got a chest infection so I had to take all our luggage up by myself 🙈🙈🙈that’s nobody’s fault I know , also a bit disappointed with our view out of the window we were at the back I was looking forward to seeing out over the town

Overpackers should be aware that there is no lift, just (well-lit) stairs.

La porta del lavabo no s’aguanta oberta sola (sistema habitual a les portes allà), però aniria bé tenir algun suport per mantenir-la oberta per ventilar una mica a facilitar que s’assequi tot després de fer servir la dutxa.

Het is jammer dat er geen lift is en geen plek om bagage achter te laten (maar dit wist ik want het was beschreven). Ik zou wel aanraden om iets aan alle deuren te doen: een klem/rem erop want alle deuren klappen met veel geluid dicht.

We were located on the top floor and although they were relatively easy to negotiate without luggage, they were not so easy when carrying bags. The shower was actually a wet room even though there was no lift or alternative disability access and so an enclosed shower would have been a greater choice.
