Reviewed Sep 19, 2026The top room was spacious and quiet. Well equiped and nicely set up and modern. The location is great, just a quick walk to the castle, pubs and restaurants. Pay and display parking available in front of the house.
The toilet is functional but old, could do with a bit of an update to match the vibe of the room. The room and toilet have carpets/mats made out of plastic (I don't think the room needs it, and for toilet I would prefer a fabric one that can be washed).

The no human interaction, the codes to get in and out of room and the fact the bedroom door didn't lock, it also banged all night when I moved in the bed. The bathroom was mega small, toilet seat didn't fit properly so you were either sliding all over the place of having the toilet seat resting on your back. All in all hardly slept, was glad to see dawn, when I packed up and left.

There are no lifts being an older style building. Getting suitcases up 3 flights of narrow stairs was a bit hard, but do-able!

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026Proximity, literally across from the village and walking distance to everything. There's a decent kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and sink and even some glasses.
We lost a stuffed bunny though no fault of theirs, this was all rectified in the end and they kindly reunited us with the bunny! Thank you so much !

We did not know how lively the local scene was. It would have been helpful to know that this was a party area and to expect loud noise and music after pubs close. We also did not know there would be no shower soap or shampoo.

Walls were very thin between all the rooms, could hear everything from the room next door and they were not being loud which was not ideal. Parking was not free, but on street and payable during the day and with the 2 nearest machines out of order that was a real hassle. It was nice, but a little standard for the price where I've had much better for less elsewhere.

The location was excellent: beside the river, opposite the church and near to the town centre and bus stop. Donegal Town is a lovely town andbif we pass through again, we will stay at Riverside House.
It is a little pricey, for a country town, but almost everything in Ireland is expensive. Everything Was great otherwise.

No onsite staff, but they were reachable by email and quick to respond. The bathroom was a little dated, but clean.

È stato tutto perfetto e incredibilmente comodo, a partire dalle operazioni di check-in e check-out, veloci e senza alcun intoppo. La camera è molto accogliente, ben curata e offre un ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo. Un grazie di cuore anche all'host, che è stato impeccabile: ha risposto prontamente e con grandissima velocità a ogni mia richiesta. Una struttura davvero eccellente che consiglio vivamente a tutti! Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Lo mejor que tiene este alojamiento es sin duda la ubicación, a 5 minutos caminado del centro y además, al ladito del río y una iglesia (bonitas vistas). Estaba limpio y además, contaba con una zona pequeñita con una nevera, un fregadero para poder preparar un ligero desayuno.
Lo q menos nos gustó es que se oye todo, la calle y los vecinos de arriba que deberían estar practicando el baile típico irlandés porque qué manera de golpear el suelo. También, que hice una reserva para 4 y solo nos pusieron toallas para 2.

La camera era piuttosto piccola e senza molto spazio per appoggiare le proprie cose, così come il bagno in cui mancava un ripiano dove appoggiare le cose.

È sulla strada, la vista sul fiume dalla stanza per famiglie a pian terreno promessa non c'è, stanze poco isolate a livello sonoro (la famiglia al piano di sopra sembrava in stanza con noi). Per una notte però è più che fattibile. Manca l'asciugacapelli.

El querer no hubiera ascensor pero es normal en un establecimiento de ese tipo y en el centro de la población. Había una toalla sucia en el armario pero vinieron a buscarla en cuanto avisamos.

Das Zimmer war winzig und im Bad konnten wir uns kaum drehen, deshalb auch nur eine "7" in der Gesambewertung. Kontakt zu den Vermietern hatten wir nur per WhatsApp - das klappte jedoch problemlos.

Believe it or not we might need fans now in summers specially when it gets really hot. Would be a wonderful addition to an already amazing place.

The room lacked any extra rolls of bathroom tissue that I could find and, since there were no staff on site, I was concerned. However, I ended up having enough bathroom tissue and so my concerns became a moot point.
