It's just not worth it. Very uncomfortable cots, not beds. We didn't have enough toilet paper. And paying 5 euro to use a towel? Ridiculous.
I would not recommend this place as there are drunk people making noise in the middle of the night and shouting where others were sleeping from 11pm till 3am
Centrally located and clean, nice staff, safe.
Clink i Lar start are super friendly and helpful. The hostel is in a great
Super great spot for travellers of all ages (and all ages there). Clean and comfortable rooms with your own USB port and reading light and curtain for some privacy. Stayed in a four bed female dorm. We had our own bathroom in the room. The location was phenomenal in the city and there is food and drinks downstairs. Only downside no kitchen to put things in a fridge as no outside food or drinks is allowed. The night I was there there was live music he was so good! I am staying again at the end of my trip. Will definitely stay here always and great value for money. Bring a lock you can lock your things in a cupboard in the room if you have a small lock with you
Chill.
Stayed for a week in Dublin, had a great time! If I'm ever back I'd probably stay here again.
Property was convenient
I book a private room which was just as nice as a hotel room minus tv (wasn't missed) Great location and worth price!
Rooms are small and beds are rough
Its very convenient and everything was so close . That’s what i like.
Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, modern layout. A really nice place to stay
Convenient, clean, staff very friendly

Stayed for 3 days and had a great time. The hotel is very close to many attractions, and public transportation. They have a great breakfast buffet. I would recommend this place to anyone.
They had a nice bar. Were within 3 blocks of 2 shopping malls.
Shops nearby
It is a hostel. The place does not provide towels or wash cloths without paying extra. There are no hooks in the bathroom or shower to hang towels or wash cloths.
Nice
I liked that the property was so close to the south side of the city. I did not like that there was a hallway undergoing renovations that no one told us about.
So first of all I understand not having TVs in the dorm style rooms, but really...not in the private rooms? Some of us like to unwind and watch some TV or fall asleep with the sleep timer on. NO TVs in the private rooms but the bed and bathroom was really nice. But you cant bring water or snacks to the room or they will chrge you 50 euro...which i find very odd and very much a headache. Good location and good prices.
Location was great No frills Clean Utilitarian but nice
Quiet central staff helpfull near other facilites
Friendly staff
My first time ever using a hostel and I would definitely do it again. From young little kids to the old, everyone was welcome. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Best part a grocery store was half a block away.
Was in a good location with easy walkable access to main sites + good facilities on site e.g. lockers / bar etc. Room wasn’t perfectly tidy and beds were very uncomfortable
Everything was great, met some cool people. My only complaint is I wish there was a washer and dryer.
The hostel is ideally situated only a short walk away from Temple Bar district. There are lots of pubs, restaurants and coffee shops nearby, and there's a major chain grocery store only a few steps away. The staff are always present, very helpful, and very friendly. The facilities are also very clean and very well maintained. The only downsides are: - No communal kitchen and they do not allow outside food on the premises (although apparently this is tolerated to a certain degree), which is very inconvenient since it forces you to buy food from the bar or the cafeteria within the hostel itself. - The shared showers and toilets are in the basement, and there are no mirrors or plug outlets there, which makes it inconvenient for women to do their hair/makeup in those areas. There was a bathroom with a mirror in the room I stayed in, but this was not practical for late showers / hair blow drying because of the noise and disturbance of the other room guests in the room.
Everything was great! The only thing that wasn’t was the dryer didn’t dry our clothes after a 65 minute cycle
Perfect location and a clean, comfortable place to lay your head at the end of the day. The self-check-in was a touch confusing, but there was someone on hand to assist. The rooms are basic, but clean and the shower was great. The bar downstairs was welcoming and fun. Some of the “house rules” are a bit weird (no alcohol in your room, even a private room?), but it’s mostly the kind of place you just use to sleep. Very decent overall.
Amazing place!
Excellent place! So modern, great rooms with privacy, as each bed has a blackout drape, a reading lamp and an area to plug your phone in. Bathrooms are modern and spotless, and there's both a bathroom with a sink and another shower with a sink. The downstairs is awesome, great full bar, espresso machine to make great coffee drinks, and excellent food. The staff were so friendly, helpful and patient! I'll recommend this place and most definitely stay here again! Best hostel I've stayed in! Thanks Jenn
Really lovely staff.
A group of 3 (50 year old folks) rented a dorm for 4 as a private room. None of us had stayed in a Hostel in many years, but the price and location were right on this, so we went for it and were all happy guests there for 2 nights. It was a clean, modern interior with good features in the room and hostel main area. Easy access to the hostel and in a great area of Dublin with walking distance to many highlights.
I like the convenience walk to any place.
Nice affordable option for Dublin.
The least comfortable beds of all time. So bad I honestly think they are intentionally trying to hurt their guests
Loved the stay. Location was amazing
Great location and very helpful staff.
We had never stayed at a hostel before and this was an incredible experience…very friendly, most excellent staff. Awesome decor. Cool vibe. Clean room. Would definitely recommend.
Good location. Enjoyed the private room, not sure about shared rooms. Kind and patient staff.
Took a bit dusty
Lots of fun around
Good place to stay with my family, breakfast was good.
This was my first stay at a hostel and overall I enjoyed it. The lobby was a fun environment and always had something happening.
The overall property was nice, my bunk bed was sadly pretty dirty tho. The sheets/pillow/mattress was fine but the walls and the ceiling in my bunk was covered in mucus which was pretty disgusting. The shower also had mold. Other than that everything was fine. The hostel was right in the city center and there were great food options all around.
Excellent!
Excellent choice for cost and to be near the Dublin city area. Everything seemed walking distance. A must to enjoy time at the Temple Bar, Hard Rock, got to St Patricks Church etc. All walking distance. Excellent atmosphere. Laundry payment system maybe should be easier for those not phone sophisticated. Other than that, great. Not a place to sit in the room 24 hrs and watch tv.
Could provide atleast a towel without charging
Great Location. Would not recommend the pizza
Recommended. The AC fa
Conveniently located, clean, and secure. The only reasons I didn't put it at 5 stars is because: 1. When I asked for a lower bunk (older folk tend to not do as well with upper bunks), they tried to charge me extra for it, even though there was an open lower bunk in the room. 2. The lockers provided didn't have self-locks. Do they really expect people to bring their own? Those were my only nits, everything else was fine.
Basic and sufficient. I had a private room with twin beds and my own bathroom and shower. Everything was small and efficient. The biggest disadvantage was that laundry requires an app which intern requires access to text messages. I left with dirty laundry.
The hostel itself was nice. Nice lobby, bathroom, and rooms. Staff were friendly. Walking distance to a lot of places. The sheets for the bed were rough and stained some. The biggest downside was the area. Didn't seem like a great area, safety wise.
Excellent
Grabbed two nights here and stayed in a room of four. Room contained one room with sink and toilet. Another room with shower and toilet. Towels and padlocks for lockers are charged seperately. Great staff. Temple Bar is a five minute walk away. Tram-line right outside the front door. Hop-on buses one street over. Great location. Hostel contained all walks of live, old and young, even families, as it was a very busy weekend in Dublin. Would definitely stay here again.
I've never stayed at this type of property and I was pleasantly surprised. It's clean and comfortable. As well as affordable.
Very clean and modern. Its a hostel so its simple but one of the nicest I've seen
It’s was a perfect place
The location itself was good. Right in the middle of everything. It was a roughly 15mins walk to the main airport bus station and 20mins walk to Trinity college. I have booked a 6 people room which our room has an accessible ensuite. It was massive but could do with a few shelves fitted in the toilet for storage. You need your room card to enter to the building after certain time which is good for security. You will need the card to access the basement which is where the storage room and more toilets are. It was a slight inconvenience when you have checked out and get your stuff although the staff will give you a visitor card to get around.
Stag was great!
Lovely spot, conveniently located
Overall the property was fine. Just fine. The area is kinda sketchy to be honest. The pricing for things like locker space and towels I felt was too high. I appreciated that they had an elevator, and getting to my room was very straight forward. The privacy curtains on the bunks were a strong plus. The mattress is stiff as a board. The staff was chill and answered my questions well so I can’t complain there. There really didn’t seem like any kind of community or night life there, or at least nobody was really interacting while I was there. I don’t know, I’d probably try a different brand next time just to see if this was a one off.
Great place very convenient and centrally located. If you are looking for a friendly staff, and value style stay this is a good fit. The private rooms do offer privacy but cleaning is only every 3 days unlike standard hotels. We are low maintenance so this didn’t really bother us. We had a wonderful stay.
Nice stay easy check in and out friendly staff!
I enjoyed the stay as we were central in Dublin and could easily walk to attractions and public transit (the red line is just in front). They seemed clean enough of a hostel, the housekeeping staff were alright. We had an issue where housekeeping staff entered our room and did not close the door properly. This happened 2 days in a row and the staff at Clink I Lar offered to move us to another room. That was nice and helped give us some peace of mind. Moving forward, if they updated their doors so that the deadbolts worked, and there was no need to pull the doors as forcefully then this could have mitigated the possibility of this issue. Thankfully the workers were quite responsive and kind about the issue.
I got one of the private rooms, but it was a bit pricey for what it was. Overall a functional stay in a convenient location
I liked the property the people were great but cleanliness could be better our bathroom smelled bad not sure if it had plumbing issues but the staff was amazing and the location was great!
The price was great
For a hostile it was quite nice. The only downside is that if you don’t book the family room, it doesn’t come with towels for the shower in the private rooms But for the most part, it was clean good location close to everything so worked out great for us for our two day. Stay in Dublin..
Excellent place to stay. Lovley staff and bar welcome. Big breakfast.
Stayed here during my solo trip to Dublin and had a great experience! The location was perfect—walking distance to Temple Bar and all major attractions. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help with directions or suggestions. The dorms had individual lockers, and the common areas had a cozy vibe where I met other travellers. The bathrooms could use more frequent cleanings. If you’re a solo traveler or backpacker, this place is a win. Would definitely stay again!
Excellent choice to stay. It is walking distance to everything and the atmosphere was amazing.
A wonderful stay in Dublin, Fabulous location. Great 4 bed pod that was very comfortable. Brilliant that the shower and toilet are separate. Just a lovely vibe in the place and great food and service, shout out to the irish barman, he was brilliant, friendly and gifted at his job.
My first hostel stay and it was great.
Incredible location extremely central to everything in Dublin, very clean property, seamless check in and check out process!
Pleasant place, good location
The beds were built nicely! Staff was helpful and friendly:)
Great
Great location, super friendly helpful staff.
Staff were so helpful, always smiling and great with recommendations for the city sights. Lovely clean rooms and great en suite facilities
Our stay was very good we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go and see. We also used the hop on hop off bus which was very close to the hostel. The breakfast was fantastic they offered a good selection to meet everyone needs.
Nice place, Expensive for what it is
Very friendly staff always ready to help with a smile.
Very KINDLY staff . The place near To everything!!! Restaurants bars malls supermarkets and importantes places and churches and the castle. Everything it’s near walking
My first hostel stay, blown away by how clean , quiet and well organised it was. I was in a 12 bed dorm for 2 nights and had a great sleep
Joke of an operation.
Joke of an operation.
Pleasantly surprised
Great Stay!
Loud and smelly place. Run away, you won't sleep in there
It was chill
Fantastic for just putting your head down while staying in an amazing city. Brilliant bar facility downstairs, too
Location and friendly staff
Clean, modern and Good value. However there was no temperature control in the room - I guess it’s centrally controlled.
Seems pricey for a hostel but at least it was clean and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Everyone working was so nice and helpful. I stayed in a room with 3 sets of bunk beds and it was clean (other than the 5 people already there) and the bed was comfy. I slept great! Loved the vibe of the place and the people staying there. Would stay again!
Nicely surprised
Worth to stay, satisfying..!
It was awesome
