Darbar Heritage Inn

Despite being located almost in the center of the Thamel area, the hotel is set slightly back from the main streets, so traffic and motorcycle noise are hardly noticeable. The breakfast is individually served and excellent in both quality and quantity. The rooms are spacious and well equipped with an electric kettle and refrigerator, and there is a good supply of hot water in the shower. The hotel opened only about three years ago, so everything still feels new, and the entire property is very clean and well maintained. The staff are cheerful, polite, and welcoming, and both English and Japanese are spoken. The owner is also very helpful and willing to offer advice not only on travel-related matters but also on business-related questions. Overall, this was an exceptionally high-quality hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Kathmandu.

Honestly, I can't think of anything significant that could be considered a negative. Everything worked well during my stay.

多分この辺りならどこへ泊まっても同様と思われるが、朝4時前くらいから通りががやがやとやかましくなり、自然に目が覚める。

The property is located in the heart of Thamel. Unlike any of my previous stays in Kathmandu, this one felt truly personal. The entire team, from the reception and kitchen staff to the property owner, extended exceptional hospitality throughout my stay, ensuring every guest felt comfortable and cared for. A big shoutout to the team for consistently going above and beyond to exceed expectations.

Nothing major to note as a dislike at the property. There is no elevator, which could be a challenge if you’re not comfortable climbing a few flights of stairs. However, if you’re preparing for a trek, it’s a great way to get started.

Przytulny, przestronny pokój, bardzo czysty. Przyjazny i pomocny personel. Świetna lokalizacja, w samym sercu Thamel, w okolicy jest mnóstwo sklepów, barów, restauracji, kawiarnii. To mój drugi pobyt, na pewno jeszcze tu wrócę.

Good stay. Room was spacious, clean, comfortable. Two details that matter to me: room had an actual desk, not a "shelf" or coffee table posing as a desk, which I really like when I want to set up my laptop for a couple of hours. And bathroom was big and clean with excellent shower, like thirty pounds of modern stainless steel nozzles and such, very hot water, strong pressure. Hotel has good interior design, classical kathmandu brick and carved wood. Lovely. I chatted with the owner/manager (?) and he's a very decent guy.

Отличное соотношение цены и качества, вкусные завтраки включены в стоимость номера. Просторный чистый номер, горячая вода, большая удобная кровать и кондиционер. Рядом большое количество кафе, я бы выделила эти: Mamake Kitchen Cafe and Restaurant — прекрасная местная и индийская кухня. Kutee Restaurant and Bar — шикарное кафе в европейском стиле, сильно выделяется; идеально для любителей комфорта. По покупкам рекомендую эти места: Aparmita handicraft — поющие чаши. Goreto Gear Traders — товары для треккинга. Рядом есть скалодром — вдруг вам будет интересно: Kathmandu Sport Climbing Center. В будущем я бы в этом районе останавливалась не более чем на 2–3 дня, слишком он шумный. Для длительного пребывания мне понравился район Будда Ступы.

Проживание омрачил только шум от соседнего клуба/бара: в одну из ночей они орали до 3 утра, спасали только беруши.

一人旅できました。初日、深夜便で遅い時間にも関わらずフロントでスタッフさんが優しく歓迎して下さり、不安が軽減したこと、今でも心に残っています。 滞在中は毎日美味しい朝ごはんを食べ、清潔な部屋であたたかいシャワーを浴びて気持ちよく過ごすことができました。 料理教室の予約代行や空港までのタクシー手配、次の宿への荷物送迎等、様々なリクエストにスムーズかつ快く対応して下さいました。 ネパールでしたいことをやり遂げながら、心地よく過ごせたのは、オーナーさんをはじめ、全スタッフみなさんのおかげです。 　 最終日も便の状況を心配して下さり、（悪天候により）温かく見送って下さいました。 最後まで親切丁寧にありがとうごさいます！ お世話になりました☺︎

I recently stayed at Darbar Heritage Inn in Kathmandu, and it was a great experience. The house has a beautiful heritage feel, and the rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I really liked the overall atmosphere of the place. Everything was well arranged, and the stay was very pleasant. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Kathmandu.

Вежливый и приветливый персонал, всегда готов помочь. Локация в самом центре Тамель, нам дали номер на 5 этаже с выходом на террасу, на которой мы вечерами и проводили время. Кофе, чай и питьевая вода всегда в наличии. В целом отель рекомендую.

Нет лифта, жёсткие кровати и слишком большие подушки. Ниразу за 5 дней не убрали номер. Плохая вентиляция. Номера маленькие, на делюкс совсем не тянут.

地理位置优越也必然不会很安静，附近有酒吧，会有点吵，尤其是周末，但没有到不能忍受的程度；其次，被子换成被套而不是隔层就更好了

在加德满都住过三个住处，这家从位置，卫生，洗澡水，床品，家具，服务，环境。。。各方面都是最好的，性价比太好啦。

タメル地区に位置しており、観光にも便利でした。 部屋も清潔で、シャワーはお湯もしっかりでました。フロントでドライヤーも借りることができ、快適な滞在でした。 そしてなによりもスタッフの方々がとても親切でした。オーナーが日本語がペラペラとのことで、こちらを利用させていただきましたが、想像以上に日本語がお上手で、優しく、日本人の方は安心して宿泊できると思います。 他のスタッフの方々も日本語が話せる方が多く、皆さんフレンドリーな良い方ばかりでした。 設備はもちろん、スタッフがとても良かったのでおすすめです。

信じられないほど最高のおもてなしをしてくださいました。 たとえ高級ホテルであっても、中にはいまいちなスタッフがいるのが普通ですが、Darbar Heritage Innは1人残らず全スタッフがとてつもなく親切な方々です。 こちらがお願いするよりも先に、様々なサービスをどんどん施してくださいます(もちろんチップを積極的に要求されることは一切ありません)。また観光地やお土産のおすすめ、タクシーの手配など、ホテルの方々に相談すればなんでも助けてくださいます。 朝食もとても美味しくて、毎朝食べに行くのが楽しみでした。日によっては、マサラティやスープなどネパールらしいものを口にする機会もありました。 ホテルの設備面についても、一切問題なく、シャワーも毎日熱々のお湯がしっかり出ました。 またホテルのオーナーは長年日本で生活されていた方で、日本語が完璧です。日本人ですらあまり知らないことわざ等もご存知で、日本文化にも精通しており、ネイティブレベルを超えています。他のフロントスタッフのなかにも日本語が話せる方がおり、非常に安心感がありました。

特になし。 他の方々のレビューでは、いくつかの問題に言及されていますが、ほとんどは宿泊客側の不注意(スタッフとのコミュニケーション不足)です。 お願いすれば、どこまでも親切に対応していただけます。 1. 夜中の騒音 すぐそばにナイトクラブがあり、日によっては確かに騒がしかったです。 しかし、ホテルスタッフに相談すれば近隣の提携ホテル(?)に代わりの寝床を確保してくださるようです。客室内に掲示された注意事項に記載があり、スタッフからも同様の説明を受けました。 2. ゴミの交換が無かった 事前にフロントに一言お願いするだけで、綺麗に清掃していただけます。 3. エレベーターが無く、荷物を運ぶのが大変 一声かければスタッフの方々が代わりに荷物を運んでくださいます。私の場合は、声をかけずともスタッフの方が運んでくださいました。

ネパールの訪問は初めてで色々と不安もありましたが、オーナーのデニスさん以下スタッフのみなさん、提携しているタクシーの運転手さん、みなさんとても親切で安心して、滞在できました。ホテルのロケーションは街のど真ん中でどこへ行くにも便利で、周辺にレストランやお土産屋さん、両替屋さんがたくさんあります。朝ごはんは毎日美味しくいただきました。デニスさんは日本語が完璧なので、何でも相談できます。困ったときはアドバイスを求めてください。またネパールへ来る機会があれば利用したいと思います！

On Friday and Saturday nights the bar next door play very deep bass "music". Very difficult to get to sleep till they finish up at about 3am.

If you’re in Kathmandu especially the first time and don’t know the ins and outs or appreciate your creature comforts, this is the hotel for you. Full amenities in the room and the A/C works amazing. They have a kitchen and Bimsen the concierge handles everything for you from bringing luggage to and from you room and setting up a laundry service. After roughing it a bit in the mountains, this hotel was amazing!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived. My room was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything I needed.

It was unexpectedly amazing stay and great value for money. The room was cosy, the team amazing and helpful. Great location for Thamel, a bit tucked away from all the noise. I would definitely come back.

Everything was great, the only disadvantage is they don't have a lift in case you find it challenging to walk up the stairs, but the team helped me with carrying my luggage, so all good.

There's a bar or music place right next door and music goes on until after 4am. Woke up multiple times and didn't get much sleep. Hotel itself is great (10/10) but because of the noise I'd never stay here again even for a single night

We loved the quaint alley it was on, convenience to restaurants and shops, very central. The staff were amazing, the bed and room comfortable and breakfast was delicious. The hotel is hard to get to with a vehicle but can be done early or late in the day, otherwise we just walked around the corner to get our transportation, no problem. We stayed a week and there was only one Friday night that music next door was disruptive, but all other nights were quiet.
