Отель в хорошей локации, рядом есть банкомат, аптека и все необходимые магазины. Персонал очень приветливый, учитывают все пожелания, всегда подскажут как и где провести время, помимо трансфера из отеля, подвезли также до местной локации. Завтраки простые, но вкусные и сытные, при активной ходьбе его с лихвой хватает до обеда:) Номер хороший, мебель деревянная, с местным колоритом. После активного дня было приятно там отдыхать. Я отлично провёл время!

This is a hotel popular with foreign guests and the hotel has some expertise with this clientele. It's a budget hotel but one of the better ones in the area. It's in a relatively peaceful location and the rooms are standard size and comfortable. Most importantly the staff, which seems to compromise mostly of young Nepali guys are extremely pleasant and have been trained well with high professional standards and behaviour. This is a matter of management policy but the staff have no disrecetion what so ever to offer even a small discount even if the guest has a valid reason to request one. I am the CEO of a travel company which regularly brings more than 300 guests a year to Nepal. However for this service discrepancy I can't recommend this hotel and we won't be using it. By the way ( I know this is very common in Nepal) in addition to the staff's inability to offer even a tiny discount ( about 3 USD) you will be charged an extra 4 % on your bill if you pay by card. Just add this to the price of the room and food.

New television, but no television box provided in the room. Poor breakfast. Dark corridors. Unkempt roof area - could be great relaxing area if renovated and maintained. Unable to change the aircon temperature in room. Only a kettle and glass provided in room - no tea, sugar, cup, spoons, etc. Broken, barely filled soap dispenser in bathroom (mercifully along with two functioning dispensers).

Room kinda small. We can hardly move. The TV don't work. Toilet is old. Shower faucet don't work. They put pale there as alternative.

The property is really good located in Thamel city center in Kathmandu. Staff are so kind and helpful . They pick up you at the airport (really important if you come tired).

It is a good stay in a quieter environment. The owners and the staff are kind and courteous.

Incredibly friendly service from the minute you arrive offering you a welcome drink and sorting out your room. The room is nice and has everything you need, comfy bed and spare pillows too. The breakfast choice is good with fresh fruits at hand, and I recommend the omelette. The owner Raj gave me restaurant suggestions, ideas of what to do, and helped sort a taxi to the airport. They also helped me print documents for my onward travel which was very helpful. Definitely recommend. Great location too!

Had a great stay here! Really good value and the staff were so friendly, the whole place had a nice, welcoming vibe. When I went off to Pokhara for a couple of days, they even held onto my luggage for free, which was a huge help. Big thanks to everyone at Hotel Yambu!

The location is perfect, right in the heart of Thamel. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always quick to respond to any questions, and happy to help with anything you need. We had to leave for our flight in the middle of the night, but they still made sure we had breakfast before we left. Their kindness and hospitality made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

The hospitality of the owner and the staff was absolutely outstanding. They could not do enough for you, so incredibly helpful and polite. Early check in was allowed and they offered me tea/coffee and some fruits. The room was lovely, spacious and clean. The bed was hugely comfy and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Really nice breakfast, great service and relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Fantastic location and great advice given on where to go and what to do in the local area. Excellent recommendations offered. A wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this hotel. Thanking them greatly for all their care, generosity and hospitality.

Il mio è un ritorno che non solo ha confermato il giudizio eccellente sulla struttura (in questa circostanza mi è stata riservata una camera interna ristrutturata e con arredamento moderno), ma ha svelato una disponibilità e bontà del manager Raj che è andata al di là di ogni aspettativa. Per un avvelenamento dal fiore di Brugmansia sono stato ricoverato in terapia intensiva a Kathmandu, trasferito da Gourkha, e mi ha assistito per tutto il tempo, nonostante in quei giorni non fossi ospite nel suo albergo, prendendosi cura di me anche dopo le dimissioni.

Tutto: posizione, confort, rapporto qualità-prezzo e soprattutto la familiarità dello staff.

The property is near to almost everything. And it’s quiet also.

There are mosquitoes but maybe because it’s rainy season when in Nepal during my stay. But they offered some mosquito repellent. I hope breakfast has more choices also.

Die Lage ist super im quirligen Norden des Thamel. Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Wenn mans gerne einfach hat, ist es genau das Richtige. Der Raucherbereich ist top!

Das Sparangebot auf booking war zwar sehr gut, aber der Sparpreis entspricht doch eher der Ausstattung. Das Hotel ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen.

Location was perfect. It is on the thamel main street. All the restaurants and stores are nearby. Tourist bus park for Pokhara also is very near. Room was clean. Breakfast was amazing.

আমি নেপালে গিয়ে হোটেল ইয়াম্বু ছিলাম খুব ভালো মানের হোটেল ওনাদের ব্যবহার খুবই ভালো সার্ভিস ও অনেক ভালো।

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They provide free Airport pick-up service. The breakfast is delicious with many choices. The location is good, near to the tourist bus stop. If you choose to take Swift holiday bus to Pohkara, it can be a good choice.

Raj, il proprietario, è di una gentilezza e disponibilità senza pari. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo e posizione strategica: a due passi da Thamel e da Durban Square, oltre che non distante dalle principali stazioni degli autobus per le escursioni nella Valle di Kathmandu e per il trasferimento nel resto della nazione. Transfer dall’aeroporto gratuito e mi ha offerto la colazione con Check-in anticipato all’arrivo.

Infissi non isolati acusticamente, qualora la camera affacci sul lato della strada trafficata, sebbene l’hotel sia collocato in una tranquilla stradina interna.
