The staff there and the environment.

Maybe the breakfast! Actually, I liked the breakfast: it was my favorite! But from other people's views, a variety of dishes should be an additional option for a good morning after a night stay there. That's it.

I booked accommodation for one night. Upon arriving in Phnom Penh and checking the location on Google Maps, I found the area unsuitable; there were many gangs and homeless people, and I felt unsafe, so I requested a free cancellation. It has been about 27 hours since then, yet there has been no response to my request or contact to me to find a good solution from hotel. Unprofessional and the staff doesn't know at all about the workflow.

J’ai pris cet hôtel car il était à côté de l’hôpital. Quand je suis arrivée le dimanche le personnel était mal aimable, j’ai demandé deux oreillers supplémentaires pour caler mon bras ils ont refusé. Le restaurant est ouvert sur des horaires très réduits et autour il n’y a rien. À 7h le buffet était dévalisé. Seul le jeune du restaurant, dénommé Phearat, a été adorable avec moi et aidant. Cela fait plus de deux mois que je voyage a travers l’asie c’est la première fois que j’ai eu un tel accueil. Je dois revenir à l’hôpital je ne retournerai pas dans cet hôtel. Sinon l’hôtel et les chambres sont propres.

les formalités d’enregistrement étaient trop longues et n’finissait plus de durer. impossible d’obtenir une deuxième carte-clé pour la chambre. Une assiette de nourriture est restée deux jours devant l’ascenseur sans que personne ne s’en occupe. Quand je sors de la chambre il faut obligatoirement demander à la réception de faire le ménage dans ma chambre, mais personne nous informe de cela. Une fois que le ménage est fait, le lit n’est pas refait.

Oh you pay a few dollars more as aposed to budget accomodation and you get something so much better, such a lovely clean place to stay where everything works.

They wouldn't split my US 50 when I was checking out for the grab ride to the airport.

The room was very clean and the staff were conscientious. We didn't speak Khemer so we had to be patient with each other. The hotel is located in a very traditional neighborhood so we got to observe real life in Phnom Penh which was great.

We like to walk but there were not many sidewalks so we missed that.

The place was clean.

The ac was loud, very hard to sleep. The wifi kept dropping off and on.

I think they must have smoking areas on every floor. 🤣 If anyone smokes, please don't choose this place, it will be your nightmare!

Hot shower and air conditioner were working properly. Friendly staff and clean room.

Other guests were spoking loudly in the hallway at 1am. Some days my sleep was disturbed.

Another nice stay!

Other passengers coming in and out in the middle of the night and cats meowing outside affect sleep.

This is a very clean hotel.

I asked for a room with a bath. And on booking.com the bath symbol showed up. I even clicked on needs to have a bath on the filters. I also emailed the hotel to check if the room definitely had a bath. I was upset when I arrived as the manager and owner basically wouldn't help and said I would need to pay $30 for a room with a bath. There was no apology or attempt to understand my point of view.

Housekeeping service - they just forget to replenish /change something each day - no toilet paper one day, no cleaning up for first day, no shampoo on last day.... 😅 Super expensive breakfast usd8 but luckily there are good cafe and food around. Wanted to extend just one room for 3 hours on our last day as our flight were at night, After all, we had booked 6 rooms for 6 nights, so we thought they could give us favourable extension. But was told to book for one night instead, non negotiable at all. 😔

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the newly renovated Joli Hotel in Phnom Penh with my family, and it was truly a fantastic experience. The new design aesthetics are exceptional, providing a refreshing and modern atmosphere. The staff and management were incredibly helpful and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was enjoyable from start to finish. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to returning. Joli Hotel has definitely become our preferred choice in Phnom Penh. Highly recommended!

The staff was friendly and trying their best despite all the issues...

I arrived and the check-in was taking suspiciously a long time, which the receptionist making phone calls. It turned out they were full even if I made my booking one month before ! first they offered me to go to another hotel nearby with worst review, or one night in a downgraded room, and then go to the other hotel. Eventually since a similar offer was made to 2 women, I got to stay in a downgraded room for a discount of 2$ per night... And the AC wasn't functioning properly...

Booking a room with one big bed... often ends up with two small beds.

I want to complain that when I arrived at the hotel there were no free rooms left even though I had made the reservation and already paid through the Booking.com website. It's incredible! The hotel manager sent me to a cheaper and lower quality hotel he collaborate with. I was so tired I accepted. Overbooking is the worst behaviour. I'm angry!

Clean, quiet, easy to travel to the center

The aircon is very hot, and the shower holder is broken. Cannot hold the shower head properly.

Not much of anything. As soon as you walk in, you see the photos supplied were all staged, and even the books on the shelves are fake books.

Construction in entryway late into night, room was full of ants, cigarette smoke coming in from hallway all night, did not feel safe, all cheap materials that were already breaking and cracking in room, no sound proofing at all. Room was not size that was advertised. Elevator was slow and very small for so many stories in hotel. Have to wait your turn to use it. Very dusty. No air purifiers. Photos are deceiving. Plants shown in photos are fake. I left after one night even though I was scheduled for 5, had to contact Booking for refund as front desk did not communicate in English whatsoever.

Free water refill. Room, sheets and towels were clean.

Staff a bit slow (maybe overworked), room quite small, AC smelled like mold and woke up with a sore throat the next day. Fridge was broken. Was allowed to put my food in the fridge at the lobby, but still inconvenient. Restaurant closes early (I think 9pm) and there aren't many choices in the neighborhood. Booked the hotel for a airport layover, but it is further away than you expect. Better take something in town and enjoy better surroundings.

So kind and very helpful staff! They helped me so much. Room is very clean, tv with Netflix/prime/yt. Nice bathroom. Reception is nice. Can recommend

The hot water jug in the room was out of order. Not enough toilets roll.

The bed was comfortable and the location was close to the airport.

First room we were sent to wasn't cleaned. Second room was fine but the building seems to be cheaply made - thin walls, poor quality tiling in the bathroom, stairs didn't feel strong.

The room is much smaller than in the pictures. Toiletries are almost non-existent. There is no hair dryer. There are no personalized room slippers. The rooms smell of cigarette smoke. Cleaning is not enough.

I was really happy that I chose this hotel. Staff was very friendly and very helpful. Hotel restaurant was very good. Room was clean and very nice. I really recommend this hotel.
