Times Hotel at Bassac Lane

The Hotel was just about right.. value for money. For quiet cheap rate you have decent room, and the hotel itself right in the middle of nice area of bassac, and close to interesting spots in phnom penh city center.

The pictures and listed facilities are false. Most of the facilities in those pictures simply don't exist. It advertised having 3 pools. It has one which was closed. It advertised having a bar, it doesn't have one. It advertised having a coffee shop, it doesn't have one. The coffee shop that is pictured at the ground floor of the hotel has been converted into an overpriced convenience store. It advertised having a games room, it doesn't have one. The staff promised a full refund, they lied, and I still haven't received it. The shower didn't work. The room stank. The hotel was dirty. It's basically a scam and despite telling Booking.com's customer service, nothing has happened. They still allow the hotel to falsely advertise.

Staff are very pleasant and professional. They accommodate to guests needs on timing for cleaning. Location is unbeatable. As a long term stay they addressed any issues, eg bathroom, extra towels, amenities needed.

L'emplacement est bon et les lits étaient confortables. Mais c'est tout ! Si on pouvait mettre la note de zéro, nous le ferions. Surtout après avoir pris connaissance des mauvais avis laissé par d'autres clients après notre réservation et que nous n'avions donc pas vu. La mauvaise fois du personnel est juste risible et honteuse ...

Nous sommes un couple de voyageurs Français et nous voyageons actuellement en Asie du sud-est. Nous avons donc déjà séjourné dans de nombreux hôtels. Mais là, c'est le summum : - Chambre qui sent la cigarette - Couche de saleté importante sur le sol & le long des murs - Salle de bain pas nettoyée & odeurs d'égouts 🤢 - Des claquettes de précédents clients semblent être là depuis des mois car elles étaient collées sur le sol 😲 qui lui, n'est manifestement pas récuré - Le nettoyage sous le lit n'est clairement pas fait : une bouteille en plastique y a élu domicile (et elle ne partage même pas le prix de la chambre avec nous 🤭) - Un morceau de papier toilette collé sur le mur de la salle de bain - La piscine avait une couleur verte suspecte - Les équipements de sport usés et sales - Caution de 50$, rien ne justifie un tel montant - La carte d'accès à notre chambre était démagnétisée tous les 2 jours Mars 2026 : des travaux à côté de l'hôtel semblent n'être qu'au début. Très bruyant dès 7h du mat, tous les jours ! L'hôtel répond aux mauvais avis "Soyez assuré que nous disposons d'un programme complet et régulier d'entretien et de nettoyage". C'est clairement mensonger ! Ne tentez pas de dire que "nous sommes désolé, cela ne correspond pas aux standard de notre établissement". C'est totalement vos standards vu l'ampleur des dégâts ! On est pas sur un ménage mal fait 1 ou 2 fois. Le ménage est tout simplement inexistant. Se cacher derrière un bas prix pour justifier de la saleté n'est pas recevable. Les chambres peuvent être modestes tout en étant propres ! Evidement, nous ne reviendrons plus JAMAIS !! Ps : dites nous à qui est cette brosse à dents qu'on lui rende (cf photo) ?? 🤢 Ps 2 : regardez bien le flipper qui est en photo sur Booking ...

In a good location for food spots. If you like to drink / bars then there’s plenty of places to drink outside. Staff were really friendly also

Had an awful smell in our room when we came back from exploring. Thankfully we got moved but it was awful. Air con was making loud noises at night. Hotel is above a shop, so a bit confusing when we got there, didn’t know if we were in the right place.

Hôtel à l'abandon, sale, délabré, que ce soit la salle de bain ou les parties communes. Je n'ai même pas osé aller voir la piscine. 7 ans au Cambodge, je n'ai jamais vu ça.

The hotel is in the perfect location. Right next to bar street but not too close that we were kept up. Staff lovely.

Felt a bit unkept and old. There was the same rubbish (dishes, wrappers etc) left outside our room for the duration of our stay. Full of mosquitoes so bring your bug spray!

The location is convenient and close to the city center, within walking distance to major attractions such as the Independence Monument, Koh Pich, the Royal Palace riverside area, and many street food options.

There are so many things I really didn’t like and feel disappointed about this place. I booked and paid in advance for a Deluxe Twin room, but upon arrival I was given a smaller Superior Twin without any prior notice. I only discovered this after entering the room and had to go back to reception to ask. The staff informed me the Deluxe rooms were fully occupied. While a different room was eventually offered, this should have been communicated before check-in since the room type and price were different. The check-in process was unclear. I had requested early check-in in advance but received no response. When I arrived around 11:30 AM, I was told it would require an extra charge without any explanation of availability. Basic amenities were missing: no slippers, insufficient towels, no coffee or tea, and there was no in-room phone to contact reception. I had to go down to the front desk multiple times and later communicate via Telegram, where the responses were unprofessional and not in line with normal hotel service standards. The air conditioning was not very cold, and the hotel kept my original ID card until check-out, which is not a common or comfortable practice for guests. Overall, the stay did not match the room I booked and the service quality was disappointing. I would not recommend this property to travelers who value proper service standards, accurate room allocation, and a comfortable guest experience.

The staffs are not professional enough to handle simple requests from customer. My case, I did ask for a receipt but the staff act wild and reluctant.

Olvidé mi medicina para 4 meses en el hotel y cuando los contacté para recuperarla no hicieron nada para ayudarme. Les rogué que me ayudaran porque necesito la medicina pero no responden WhatsApp ni mensajes a través de Booking.

Cuando llegué habían sobrevendido y me pasaron a una habitación inferior que además tenía la ducha sucia. Se entra al hotel por un supermercado mugriento.

Everything is good. I have a good stay in here because I have extend my stay in there for 1 week more. I like to swimming in the swimming pool. I will stay here again when I come to Phnom Penh

Great location right at the end of bassac lane with great bars and restaurants . Nice big tv decent sized bathroom and table and chairs/hanging space. Much better then the usual places we stay

Front lobby was getting converted into a mini mart. Wasn't an issue but on first impressions we were a bit worried about how the rooms would be. But they are great

Close to Bassac lane

The lobby area has a strong, unpleasant odor. The building looks as if it has been abandoned. The room is dusty, and both the shower and the door are damaged. The swimming pool is in extremely poor condition.

I like to stay in this hotel everything is good. Not disappointed at all because all the staf is Verry helpful and the room also is good. They did a great job for every guest. The location is good. Price also is very good for this hotel. I enjoyed the swimming pool, and their little gym. Everything perfect over all perfect stay I have in this Hotel. 100% recommended

The room was not advertised according to the booking.com website. The room had no natural light coming in which is contruary to my booking which clearly states that there is a city view. I raised the issue with reception and showed my printout and the response was it was the fault of booking.com. Howerer on the reception counter there was a laminated summary of the different room with pictures and all showed a window. I spend 3 days living like a mushroom with no window. The bar fridge didnt work and no-one came to fix it as promised and the bathroom kept flooding even after reducing the water flow. The room safe didnt work and I had to take their special key in order to keep my valuables safe. The reception area looks like a storeroom with shelving everywhere, so unprofessional. Not all the staff can speak English. I would like my money back.

Place was an absolute dump. Urine all over the toilet, cobwebs, ants everywhere bear the bed. Reception looks like a building site and the place is very poorly maintained. Dirtys pool area... wouldn't bother!

Davvero poco a noi, ma se ti piace il "casino" di Bassac Lane, potrebbe piacerti la posizione. La camera (bagno a parte) è passabile, lo staff molto gentile e disponibile. Avevo richiesto una camera con due letti spaziosa ma aveva un solo letto e la stanza era piccola, doveva essere ai piani alti ed invece era al terzo piano (sono 8 in tutto).

Pulizia del bagno orribile, la zona prospicente rumorosissima fino alle 2 di notte non si può dormire, il terrazzino sporchissimo, la doccia sporca e puzzava di muffa, tutta la struttura è fatiscente nel vero senso della parola. Climatizzatore sporco vedi foto...zone comuni meglio evitarle per via della sporcizia, piscina da dimenticare.

We’re do I start ! So many problems ! It’s nothing like the site advertised by booking.com ! Shame on them for false advertising! Bathroom had mould all over ! Toilet seat was loose ! Paper Toilet holder broken ! Water dripping from one pipe and the hand washer was dripping all the time ! Shower was broken ! Sewer smell coming out of the bathroom ! Air conditioning was working and the flaps had cardboard to hold them open and fell ? Remote will not work always and batter back was open ? The whole room looked old and dirty! The outside hallway was dirty ! Lizard was running around ? Plastic bottles in the hall way ! The foyer was full of shelf’s the outside looked nothing like the pictures ! Clean the room only once ! In 4 days !
