Amaroossa Bandung hotel

So disappointed with this Hotel. The staff are excellent nonetheless. The hotel is not maintained as per 4 Stars rating in Agoda I will not even rate it as beyond 2 out of 5 at the most because of the service staff. It is a shame. Supposed to stay from 25th Dec 2023 - 30th Dec 2023 but check out on the 26th Dec 2023 just after a day because of this experience. The hotel is just not maintained. The aircon, the carpet, the wallpaper, the broken fixtures, the swimming pool and on and on. Just a lot to mention on this establishment. . Feels like being scammed on the false advertisements. I lost a lot of money and for the sake of my vacation from turning upside down, I changed hotel on the 2nd day of my stay and it is the totally the opposite of this miserable experience. Please do something, you are ruining your image and establishment. I wondered if the chain is serious about their commitment to ensure good memorable hotel guest experience.

highly recommend, I stayed here on a business trip with good and friendly service and also very clean. very comfortable staying here, if I go to Bandung again I will stay here again, the jarna is also close to the city. Thank you for service

I am visiting Bandung again after a year and thought of writing a review from last year’s visit… Booked a room here on Feb 24th, 2022 via Agoda, because of a family’s recommendation. Big mistake! The worst hotel ever, dirty and smelly! I checked out right away and moved to Best Western (better property and customer service at Best Western).

My friend booked by agoda. we're stay in 3rd floor where we had a gorgeous pool view . the room actually biger. the breakfast standard. but we have memorable stay to enjoy with your helpfull staff . We hope you read this Ms. Julie . She a verry helpfull staff and we are proudly say her service are first class . Always Checking for our needs . Have good sense of humor, fast respons, . From the moment we were checked in by Ms Julia we had a most memorable stay until we checked out. also she checked on us in every occasions to see if we were enjoying our stay or if we needed anything. she is one of the professional person , friendly and very good sense of humor and always smiles. I Was Check in in 29 March . I forgot my room number but i've think i stay in 2 floor in this hotel. I meet the hotel staff who's pretty kind person, and friendly i ever meet i've think . she helps and listen us a lot . We realy enjoy out stay . About the hotel i've thing you need to make your lobby more bigger . And i can say the room size is biger, cleanlines also average, i have nothing complain about the hotel facilities . One more the pool area having a pretty view espeially for you who want take asthetic photos and show it out on the instagram . And to ms.julia keep it up the great job . See u when we see u again .

I have a pleasent stay here, facilities are good and all staff are humble, food are excellent but they served food with the same menu everyday. please make a new variation with the menu. next time I wil visit this hotel again.

Kami mendapatkan pelayanan buruk sekali dari hotel ini. Saya stay dari tgl. 30-31 Oktober 2021. Bermula dari email dan chat via agoda dari saya yg merequest kamar double bed smoking, tidak di balas2. Akhirnya saya mesti WA dan dibalasnya baru 2 hari kemudian. Ketika saya sampai dan menanyakan ketersediaan kamar, mrk cm ada 2 option, twin smoking atau double smoking. Payah sekali pengelolaannya, Akhirnya saya pilih twin dengan bed di combine. Ketika saya sampai di kamar, bed belum disatukan, dan ada puntung rokok customer sebelumnya di lantai. Sprei dan gordyn juga terlihat kusam. Hari berikutnya, saya DIKECEWAKAN dengan kolam renang (fasilitas umum) ditutup karena lokasinya dipakai akad nikah. Saya sudah bayar utk stay di hotel ini, bayar utk pakai fasilitas mrk, tapi ditutup untuk kepentingan sekelompok tamu tertentu. Mereka ini ngerti tidak ya pengelolaan hotel harusnya seperti apa? kok BODOH sekali. Inilah buruknya liburan post Covid, kemarin2 mati2an cari customer krn PSBB dan PPKM, tapi ketika customer datang semua orderan diterima dan gak mementingkan kepuasan costumer. Saya dan bbrp keluarga lain marah karena baru diizinkan utk berenang diatas pkl. 10, pdhl saya check out pkl. 12! Saya harus adu mulut dulu dengan resepsionis, WO dan security utk bisa berenang di hotel yg saya bayar utk stay! Benar2 PAYAH! Akhirnya kami cuek aja berenang disebelahnya orang akad. Manager tidak ada di lokasi saat kami ribut2, saya komplain pun mereka tidak menanggapi dan hanya frontliner yang meminta maaf.. dikira saya butuh permintaan maaf mereka?? gak ada kompensasi, gak ada toleransi.. hanya MAAF. Menejemen hotel yg sungguh BODOH! Parkiran hotel ini juga sangat sempit dan menyulitkan mobil minibus, pengelola parkirnya gak mau bantu dan malah judesin kita pdhl kita kesulitan keluar dari driveway lobby. PAYAH staf2 kalian, malu2in.. JANGAN MENGINAP DAN BIKIN EVENT DI HOTEL INI, CARI HOTEL LAIN SAJA!!! *not recommended! We got very bad service from this hotel. I stay from the date. October 30-31, 2021. Starting from an email and chat via agoda from me who requested a smoking double bed room, no reply. Finally I had to WA and it was only 2 days later. When I arrived and asked for room availability, they had 2 options, twin smoking or double smoking. The management is really bad, I finally chose a twin with a combined bed. When I got to the room, the bed had not been put together, and there were cigarette butts from the previous customer on the floor. Bed linen and curtains also look dull. The next day, I was DISAPPOINTED with the swimming pool (public facilities) closed because the location was used for a marriage ceremony. I have paid to stay at this hotel, paid to use their facilities, but it was closed for the benefit of a certain group of guests. Do they understand what hotel management should be like? why so stupid. This is how bad the post Covid holiday is, yesterday I was desperately looking for customers because of PSBB and PPKM, but when the customer came all orders were accepted and didn't care about customer satisfaction. Me and several other families were angry because they were only allowed to swim above 6:00 p.m. 10, pdhl i check out pkl. 12! I had to argue first with the receptionist, WO and security to be able to swim at the hotel that I paid to stay! It's AWESOME! In the end, we just didn't care to swim next to the person at the ceremony. The manager was not at the location when we made a fuss, I complained that they did not respond and only the frontliner apologized.. do you think I need their apology?? no compensation, no tolerance.. just SORRY. What a stupid hotel management! The hotel parking lot is also very narrow and makes it difficult for minibus cars, the parking manager doesn't want to help and even judges us if we have trouble getting out of the driveway lobby. WORST your staff, shame on you.. DON'T STAY AND MAKE AN EVENT AT THIS HOTEL, JUST FIND ANOTHER HOTEL!!! *not recommended!

I booked executive room here. The quality is rather abysmal. All the room looks dirty and smelly. Bweghhhh. The bathroom is so dirty and smelly. Nobody should never sleep in this hotel ever again. Disgusting

It was my third stay with amarossa hotel. The hotel is still the same with : friendly staff's,good service and as usual the design of the room is very good. We're happy to stay there. Cant wait to come back to this hotel for sure.

At a glimpse it looked like a nice hotel. They put some classic style furniture at the lobby but it was such a deceiving. When entering the room it looked so shabby and dusty. Bedsheet turned yellow already, furniture in room looked old, showed that maintainance was done poorly.

its been a great stay here in “ the Amaroossa Hotel “ . the hospitality here was great.. loving the westerns food such as pasta was super delicious ❤️ . bandung its such a beautiful place t visit .. i enjoy each and every moment while im over here .. the room service was excellent! this hotel is highly recommended 🤙🏻❤️ last but not least , the hotel GRO WAS excellent and vv friendly t towards the guest , she ensure the we had a good stay here in amaroossa hotel .. till then see you again amaroossa hotel ❤️❤️💖

Staff really not helpful. I arrived at 13.00 and told to wait for my room. But instead people come after me, get their room before me. So I asked the staff at the reception and they said I haven't registered. Even though I already have a booking and paid my room two days earlier. They said I have to register again at the reception providing my ID. They never asked me to do that when I asked them earlier when I want to check in. And I get my room but the room is twin bed. Not like I asked and booked. I told the staff and they said the room was full. When I enter the room, the bed sheet looks nothing like white sheet. The room is dirty and have a spooky look. I often go to bandung for business trip and stay in various hotel in bandung before. And this is by far my worst experience. There's a lot hotel in the same price range offer a better quality. Not recommended.

Our first time to visit Bandung..Great weather..great peoples..great Hotel...especially lots of Breakfirst varieties.We hav great Driver to drive us around Bandung (Gin).Visited Kawah Puteh..its a great trip sure to come again to Bandung.

Amaroossa Hotel with unique furniture and good area (near interactive shopping and eating) in Bandung. with good breakfast and warm staff, u should sometime try it. but like other old hotel. Amaroossa must do something specially in rooms area. i said clean but need extra to remove the water remark and plumbing system and wastafel. cause many new hotel around Bandung as your competitor. creating many event it good for family guest.

Stay here for only one night, for doing some appointment business in bandung around, first impression was great, luxury, elegant looks like, got smoking room as requested , in-fact the room so smelly, from the carpet feels so dusty, spot on sheet, and stain towel & torn, went to coffee shop and order a cup of hot cappuccino, but the coffee was horrible too much foam. But the part of all the messy here, they have a good breakfast .

Stay for 2 nights.. - When checked in, there is no bath towel.. - The fridge not cold.. - when they have low ocupancy, (2nd day we stayed) they serve the breakfast with the alacarte.. The problem is, they served too slow 😔 + good location + get free takjil in ramadhan time + variety and the taste was good during the breakfast buffet (1st day)

The hotel was kinda old but they maintained its cleanliness and the architectural design. Hotel staff were very helpful and accommodating.

Not much issue with room and hotel. Tje service is good. Staff are friendly and smiley in gerneral. Like the sweet lady at the omelette station. She looks smiley enough for a morning breakfast. If you go sauna...the place looks extremely dated, dufferent from hotel lobby, .like not much attention and maintenance going on there. The pool is for show only. No issue if u don't intend to use them. Not many shops around hotel to walk around. So i would say if u plan to have your own activities, hotel is good to stay as the room looks clean and big. Location if ok if you take grab now and then.

Room a little jaded, shower host leakage could have been easily fixed with housekeeping staff feedback. Do not have hand towels.

Room: door knob need fixing. basin n tao position alignment t issue causes water to splash all over hence wash basin counter perpetually wet. Only provided towels n door towel, no extra face towel. Clothline not working. Breakfast spread lack variety especially soup and porridge were Luke warm.

The staff excellent hospitality, right from the reception to cafe staff made us feel so welcomed. In particular, our customer relations officer, Miss Yoppy was attentive to our needs & kept contacts with us making sure that things are smooth & well taken care off. Breakfast spread was good. Our stay at this hotel made our trip to Bandung a memorable one.

Our family of five had booked two rooms. Check-in and check out was a breeze. Staff were pleasant and warm and showed interest in Customers. Breakfast spread was good and the staff was on hand to attend to requests. Room service food from coffeehouse though limited was very good. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

Hotel staff were smiley and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. However, non-smoking rooms were at level one, just above the road level. The noise outside could be heard as early as 6am. Other than this, the hotel overall was a good place to stay! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast too!

Great location near shopping area

I loved the interior design, especially the room. It was luxurious, dark and very comfortable. Breakfast was good with many selections. WiFi was fast. Bathroom was ok but could be bigger. Bed was very comfy with full carpeting on the floor. Will definitely be back!

OMG, guys if you havent found the right residing place for yourself, consider Amaroosa Bandung Hotel. We checked in on the 17th, pleased with what we saw at its lobby, their service gave this hotel's reputation another boost. We checked in with no fridge but no find out that every room in Level 1 is experiencing the same thing. So we called in and asked for a fridge, minutes later it came but it wasnt the right size. We were okay with that, not petty just thankful that a fridge was given. The next day, we got a call and they moved us up to Level 2 with the Swimming Pool view!!! LOVE IT. Food/ Breakfast was soooooo good!? Like they serve you, breakfast, lunch and dinner AT BREAKFAST. You eat till you drop!? So dont forget to consider there breakfast when you book at Amaroosa under Expedia! Other than that, staffs were so polite. As good or fantastic a hotel design can be, location wise, whatever, ITS NOTHING with BAD service! Cmon you got to agree. Before we left on our 5th night, we were given liek a huggggg piece of Red Velvet cake as a "thank you" gift i assume!? Shucks gurl you didnt have to but overall, 5/5!

Within walking distance to the many factory outlets. Hotel stay was good and staff is very helpful and friend. English proficiency level is not great and able to communicate. Staff are very helpful. Wifi signal was really bad. Intermittent and speed is slow.

i had booked 5 rooms and paid them 3 days in advance. we all (family with 4 vehicles) got to the hotel at 12:30 pm and had to wait since rooms were being cleaned up and yet 1 room was available for the elder. well the waiting was too long, i had to keep coming back to front offfice for asking rest of rooms availability and finally at 14:00 3 rooms were available for my relatives, which left me none. at around 14:20 i really had to push to earn my room, which then magically appear and i was happy cause finally got to rest after long ride. But sadly it was a smokey room and i was disappointed since i had specifically booked for 5 Non-smoking room and paid full in advance. parking space was terrible. lobby is too small for many people waiting for check in/out. i wish i've had a better experience here but unfortunately i've had not.

Overall experience was ok. However, the pool and sauna is a bit small. Hotel staff was friendly and able to help to arrange a day trip driver to us.

bandung was ok for a short get away , we love the unit deco in kampung daun and shopping was great. food in bandung if you like chillies, then you will enjoy all the spicy stuff , we enjoy the beef and also the bebek and ayam penyet.

Its a cosy hotel and around 15 minutes walk to the heritage factory outlet area. The breakfast is not that great just average. The aircon is not that cold but overall I am satisfied with the stay.

Basic amenities were not provided even after housekeeping. We had to ask multiple times for bath towels, toilet paper and drinking water. Rooms have thin walls, and can get especially noisy during the weekends. Will not recommend for travellers who want a quiet and smooth stay.

I stayed at the Amaroossa for 3 nights based on reviews I had read. I must say my expectations were not met. Jaded & darkly-lit hotel with poor sound proofing in room. You can hear stomping of feet, screams, children running along the corridor, loud function events on the ground floor, children screaming from the pool level even though I was staying near the corner on 3rd floor. Wifi was very weak in the room & connectivity in the lobby or pool cafe was unreliable, with constant drops & difficulty getting connected again. Lobby’s washroom basin taps badly needs maintenance as they are loose & not secured at the basin. Toilet papers never refilled (I had to resort to asking a male staff to bring a roll out from the Gents for me). The only saving grace is that the staff are really helpful when I had issues with the kettle in the room & electrical tripping due to their faulty equipment. I don’t know how this hotel is nearby any shopping streets as it seems forever to get from point-to-point due to the massive traffic jam. Smokers beware, there are no smoking floors except in open areas in the lobby or pool cafe. Doors to the tiny balcony does not open (key locked by the hotel). The hotel provided a complimentary 1-way transfer between the hotel & the airport which was convenient, given the fact that Bandung has unpredictable & severe traffic jams.

Despite of having a not so good wifi connection , overall it was good . Nice staffs . Always greeting us everytime we walk pass them . Will come there again when I plan of coming Bandung again. Just that please ensure ur cutleries and plates are clean . I work in the hospitality line , certain things just need to improve . Like wifi and cutleries . That's all! Great service so far. Thank you for having us there!

very relaxing stay, room was really nice and comfortable, love the pillows. area is quite central. not much shopping or street food nearby. easy to find taxis. Breakfast was OK, not extraordinary though. swimming pool is very nice. small but looks natural.

Overall, the room is very clean. But air-conditioning need great improvement as the air con is not cold when temp was switched to 10 degree. We changed the room once but air con still not cold. The 1st room at 3rd floor is worst, totally no air con. Sometimes, wifi speed quite slow but still able to connect. As we stay at 1st floor, we can hear the noise outside the hotel in morning & night although windows are all closed. There are also mosquitoes at the cafe and lobby area. We got stung by those mosquitoes. Hotel will need to look into the pest control to eliminate these insects. Good points about this hotel is near to many factory outlets, abt 10 mins walk from hotel. Easy to get taxi outside the hotel. Nice & yummy breakfast spread but we need to wait quite long for the scramble/ fried eggs to be sent to us. Receptionists & bell boy are friendly.

Front desk staff very helpful and polite. Breakfast superb. Room a little warm when set lowest temp and highest speed. Overall very nice place to stay. Btw massage spa place only 5mins walk from hotel. Shiok !

Our stay in Amaroossa Hotel has been nothing short of AMAZING! Love the beautiful interiors, cleanliness, array of yummy breakfast spread and most imptly, the staff has made our stay even more enjoyable with its tip-top service! Highly recommended to stay while in Bandung!

It was a pleasant experience staying in this hotel.

Near to a cafe just across the road. Service might be rather slow. Sent for laundry in the morning but only to receive the next day. Had problems with the card that leads to the room door and had to reprogram twice. Staff are friendly and food for breakfast is great and delicious. Room is clean but it would have been great if there were instructions on how to get hot water in the shower.

We love the hotel and the staffs are great. all the front desk staffz are trying their best to help us... but, the fact is not many ppl can speak english in Bandung, so lucky we have the hotel staff to help us on booking and explain the trip and so on.... will recommend to others!

Good location and service. Conveniently located in Bandung. We have a nice stay in 3 bedrooms, they well accommodated our request to have connecting rooms and room next to each other. Good breakfast buffet.

Luxurious very nice hotel in a central location. Attractive building and rooms. Helpful, courteous, polite, and congenial reception and restaurant management staff. Good breakfast buffet. A la carte lunch and dinner menu expensive. The Marlin fish that I had was old and hard. Few people have lunch or dinner in the restaurant. Waiters and waitresses need to pay more attention to the clientele's needs (omelettes, coffee refills). They ignored me when I was there.

I noticed that communication was a big problem. For example, when you are asking for something they will reply some other thing.

What a magnificent Hotel and superb staff. I thoroughly recommend staying here for a wonderful holiday experience. The food is brilliant the rooms are absolutely beautiful and all the staff are very accommodating and are wonderfully friendly. Thank you Lee George

I like the services from all the staff, very friendly and helpful - right from the bellboy to the manager. I will stay this hotel whenever I come to Bandung.

The hotel is near to factory outlets like the Heritage & Passion. The pool is a bit small though. Breakfast varieties changed daily which is good. The TV in my room needs warming up before you can see what's screening. The hotel's maintenance team should look into that . The hand shower also needs to be changed as water is gushing out from many directions. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay.

Went to bandung for a weekend getaway and decided to stay overnight. Amaroossa hotel was highly recommended with good reviews. Knowing the location is strategic to go places i needed to go, i booked in a heartbeat. I got to the hotel in the morning and checked in, with high expectation about the hotel. It took them a while to find my booking, it consisted of the receptionist having to go back and forth to the office. After a while i decided to sit by the sofa and waited. It took about 15 mins to finally find my booking under expedia.com,which is odd as i booked it through hotels.com. when i finally checked in, they then told me there was no room and i had to come back later. I wished they could say that earlier and i could have come back and checked in. I came back in the evening to the hotel and they gave me the key to the room. I stayed at the first floor and the layout was confusing. I took a second look and asked the passing staff to guide us to our room. Meandering through the hallway, we finally found our room. The room was spacious, the room was dark ( dark furnitures, baroque styled) and heavily decorated to my taste. Though the furnitures in the space are nicely put and functional. The bathroom was dark and there were not much towels except for 2 bath towels and a foot towel. Toiletries were okay, except one of the toothbrush set has an unexplainable stain that i felt irked to touch, let alone use. I asked for an extra towel, the housekeeping staff was very polite and told us it will be delivered soon. After a few hours and a few phone calls, it never came. Never, ever came. I was annoyed. Sleeping was good, the bed was good and i had a good rest. Came the morning when i was about to check out, i opened the curtain to a very dark room and i saw a dead cockroach on the carpet underneath the tv. How and why the cockroach was dead in that exact location at that particular time baffled me. I was Grossed out. To summarise my experience staying at the hotel is this, I was underwhelmed and good thing it was a one night stay. I would try to find other hotel on my next visit since it was just an 'ok' hotel.

Had been to Bandung a few times, and this one Hotel is my best experience so far, it has got a quiet surrounding all day and easy walking access to factory outlet, unlike some that I stayed previously were close to mosques that wake you up in the early morning, other setback is WiFi is not available in room, access only at the lobby and pool area. Hotel policy is not flexible, my request for one hour late check out were rejected despite of okay given when i check in due to my late return flight and hand towel is not available.

Wifi should be extended to rooms instead of just at the lobby. Other than that, our stay was very pleasant! Staff were very helpful and service was prompt. Very near to factory outlets, and there was free shuttle from and back to airport. Breakfast buffet was quite a spread too!
