La Menara Hotel & SPA

We had one of the best hotel experiences ever! I’ve travelled quite a lot, and this is genuinely one of those places that stays with you long after you leave. What a beautiful representation of Tunisia and its culture. The hotel feels so authentic while still being modern and thoughtfully designed. You can really tell that every little detail has been carefully considered. And the staff were incredible. From Wiem and Karim at reception to Raouia and every single person we interacted with, everyone was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. A special shoutout to Mourad, the owner, for his professionalism and for creating such a special place. It left such a great impression on both of us, especially my partner, who is from Ireland and absolutely fell in love with the place. We’ll definitely be back!

Las vistas desde la terraza, la ubicación tranquila y la atención del personal.

La habitación que nos tocó, llamada Tunnisia, estaba bien ubicada, cerca de la piscina, es lo que quería, pero tenia un olor fuerte a humedad.

Excellent séjour, dans un cadre magnifique avec un service attentionné. Un grand merci tout particulièrement à Karim à l’accueil pour sa gentillesse et sa disponibilité, ainsi qu’à Imen au spa pour son professionnalisme et son accueil chaleureux. Une très belle expérience que nous recommandons !

Équipe au top, hôtel familial très bien situé. Les chambres sont très bien équipées. 4eme fois dans cet hôtel et toujours aussi satisfaite.

ترحيب الموظفين والموظفات وتعاونهم وتعاملهم مع الضيوف بشكل احترافي وممتاز خصوصا مدير الفندق الأستاذ محمد والموظفة وئام على اسلوبها الراقي وامانتها ، تواصلت معي بعد تسجيل خروجنا وفي طريقي للمطار بسبب انني نسيت غرض ثمين خاص بي وكانت حريصه على تسليمه لي بنفسها والموظفة راويه على اهتمامها براحتنا كل صباح تستقبلنا بأجمل افطار. الغرفة كانت ممتازة والنظافة استثنائية تشم ريحة الصابون والنظافه بكل مكان قريب من معالم سيدي بوسعيد مشي 5 دقايق

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable. Rawia was very attentive and responsive to my needs and was friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a much needed massage at the spa. I would definitely stay here again when I am in Tunis.

The staff were friendly, especially people like Yomma. Hearty breakfast with lots of lovely items. Away from noisy areas. The room ceiling decor was nice and a generally spacious room. We stayed in the Andalusia room.

We were allocated the Andalusia room. Booking.com said it comes with a balcony but our room didn't. The view was not good either. There was no ceiling light and therefore room was also dark. Considering it wasn't a sun facing room there wasn't much natural light either. When they were cleaning another room could see through the door they had better natural light coming in. We often woke to the sound of someone hammering. Sounded like someone was working on the pool area. The pool was not functional which was disappointing as this was a main reason for us to choose this hotel and not informed beforehand. Room/bathroom (moreso) have too many signs of wear and tear. Not sure it matches the amount of money paid unfortunately.

Tout était parfait!

The room was marvellous, we got upgraded to the Ottoman room wirh very beautiful decoration and a balcony overlooking the water and Sidi Bou Said. The staff were extremely friendly and kind especially Weeam who was a sweetheart and helped with all our reservations. The location was perfect walking distance from the main streets of Sidi Bou Said and overlooking the town and sea and a park nearby. Very quiete and serene.

Die oberen Zimmer sind wunderschön hergerichtet. Der Blick auf die Stadt und das Meer hat uns ebenfalls sehr gut gefallen. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend. Als Ausgangspunkt für Sidi Bou Said hervorragend geeignet. In der Nähe liegt eine Zugstation und man kann bequem mit dem Zug nach Tunis fahren. Das Zimmer Ottoman hat einen Balkon, der leider zur Straße liegt. Es fahren nur wenige Autos, die allerdings und vor allem die Motorräder sind sehr laut. Deshalb nur 9 von 10 Punkten. Ich würde das nächste Mal wieder das Byzantine Zimmer buchen, das ist ruhig.

Świetna lokalizacja, urocze miejsce

Posizione perfetta, a pochi passi dal centro di Sidi Bou Saïd e a 2,5km dal sito archeologico di Cartagine. La struttura è una villa tipica della zona, molto pulita e con personale accogliente e disponibile. La sala colazioni è ampia e panoramica e la colazione dolce e salata è ottima.

La spa è piccola e non ha una vera e propria sauna, ma è comunque un plus per chi alloggia in zona. Andrebbe risolto un problema di cattivo odore di ristagno d’acqua che sentivamo nella nostra camera vicino alla piscina, soprattutto al rientro dalla giornata fuori.

Colazione ottima, dal dolce al salato tutto buonissimo, il personale era pronto a soddisfare qualsiasi nostra richiesta. Tutto abbondate, si faceva colazione da una grande veranda, dove potevi ammirare uno splendido panorama. Eccezionale

La camera luminosa, con gradi finestre, si affaccia nel cortile laterale del hotel, peccato però che ci sono i motori dei condizionatori, che di notte si sentono fino al mattino, se ti svegli la notte hai difficoltà a riaddormentarti.

L’emplacement, le service, leur cappuccino, Massage, la vue magnifique.. la propreté. Tout était beau et chaleureux. Je remercie particulièrement le propriétaire qui a été très gentil ainsi que tous les employés. Ils sont investis et souriant. Si je repasse à Tunis pour sure j’y retournerais.

Beautiful decor, and great view from the property, very kind staff, breakfast was good. The background music in the reception area was excellent! Overall a very peaceful stay!

It is well situated in easy walking distance to Sidi Bou Said, with beautiful views out over the ocean - yet quiet. The staff was excellent. Breakfast was good as well.

The restaurant options are limited, and they don’t have a liquor license. But there are many good nearby restaurants.

The place is literally 10/10. A lot of luxury details, very friendly and accommodative stuff. Breakfast is 10/10, they prepare everything individually and even made an exception for us and offered breakfast at 6:30 am due to early check out. Location is amazing, one of the rare hotels in Sidi Bou Said that has amazing location with all the amenities (heating, hot water, bath, etc). Will be definitely back! Thank you for the stay.

رائع جدًا، مكان مرتفع مطل على سيدي بوسعيد، وبالإمكان النزول لوسط سيدي بوسعيد مشيًا على الأقدام لكن ربما يصعب على كبار السن قليلًا لوجود شارع منحدر، وكذلك بالإمكان الوصول للفندق من نهاية سيدي بوسعيد؛ فله مدخلان من بداية المنطقة ومن نهايتها. سكنت في الغرفة العثمانية، والغرفة العثمانية إطلالتها بديعة؛ جزء منها على البحر وسيدي بوسعيد وجزء على الحديقة المقابلة للفندق، وكل غرفة باسم حقبة مرّت على البلاد وتصميم الغرف تابع للحقبة التي باسمها الغرفة، وسطح الفندق فيه إطلالة هادئة، والفندق لطيف وجميل جدًا والعاملون فيه لطفاء للغاية، أشكرهم جميعًا بدءًا من المدير لموظفة الاستقبال وموظفي الاستقبال وإلى كل من قابلت، كانت إقامة ممتعة ولا شك عندما أعود لتونس سأسكن فيه بمشيئة الله، وأنصح به نصحًا بالغًا.

الغرفة العثمانية على الشارع، فربما من نومه خفيف سينزعج قليلًا، لكن نهاية الليل سيهدأ المكان تمامًا، كذلك نهاية الأسبوع غالبًا يكون هناك زواج في بهو الفندق، فربما ينزعج بعض الناس من هذا؛ بالنسبة لي لم أنزعج وكانت فرصة للتعرف على ثقافة أهل تونس في الأفراح.

Mancano tantissime cose non è un Hotel da 700 dinari a notte sono prezzi da Astoria e Ritz in Europa con alto livello. Porte rotte e smontate,scarsa pulizia,il bordo della Piscina pieno di formiche,personale di sera inesistente,la colazione non rispetta gli standard di un 5 stelle è veramente carente viene servita in un vassoio ,la macchina del caffè degli anni 2005,personale senza uniforme non sai chi lavora in hotel e chi è lì come ospite, insomma la lista è lunga. Ho parlato con il direttore telefonicamente e mi ha dato 150 dinari come perdono del disagio, apprezzo molto il suo gesto ma una carenza del genere di un albergo a 5 stelle mai vista. Ci vorrebbe una nuova gestione direzionale e una strategia esecutiva. Sicuramente tornerò a Sidi bou said ma in un’altra struttura!

The staff were very friendly and always ready to help – especially Karim and Wem, who were incredibly kind and attentive. The room was beautifully decorated, the pool area calm and relaxing, and the breakfast delicious. The location is also excellent, close to the main streets of Sidi Bou Said. Highly recommend staying here!

Overall, really good experience. The staff was amazing. No matter the difficulty of the request (all of which out of the scope of their hotel), they went out of their way to solve it. I want to personally thank the male receptionist with longer hair (do not recall his name now) who was tireless during our stay.

Très déçu ! Nous avons réservé une chambre vue piscine. À notre arrivé nous apprenons que la piscine est en travaux ! En plein mois de juillet quel déception et puis pour comble le tout il y avais des maçon en face de nos fenêtres on ne pouvais pas ouvrir les stores être a l’aise et profiter de la vue. Pour finir en beauté il y eu une fuite dans la salle de bain ! Ils on dû nous changer de chambre en urgence sans aucune vue paisible ! Et nous n’avons eu aucun geste commercial à part une proposition d’accès piscines dans un autre endroit que nous avons refusé ! Nous avons choisi cet hôtel pour le calme le charme et ce n’est pas n’importe quel hôtel je croyais qu’il y avait un certains standing ! Je suis vraiment très déçu
