La piscina es el area favorita mia.

El aire del segundo piso nunca prendio

Las habitaciones cómoda y el parking accesible. La piscina tenía buena temperatura y el televisor tenía varias alternativas.

La ubicación excelente. La piscina espectacular.

Casa #1, Los operadores de las ventanas no funcionan y al no tener aire acondicionado la planta baja el calor es insoportable. El baño de la planta baja no tenía buen drenaje, muchas cucarachas y garrapatas. Una situación muy lamentable porque es muy bonito el lugar. La limpieza y el mantenimiento fue pésimo ya que desde el día de la llegada le escribí al personal y no me respondió. El baño de la planta baja tampoco tenía luz( fundida).

Facilidades muy buenas, justo lo que uno necesita. Habitación amplia, utensilios de cocina. Excelente aire acondicionado. Baño cómodo con bañera.

Es hat mir NICHTS gefallen.

Das Anwesen ist sehr schlecht zu finden. Von aussen steht keinerlei Hinweis, nicht mal eine Hausnummer. Statt dessen sieht man von der Straße aus die Nummern der einzelnen Studios, also 2 oder 1 oder 3. Nur an den Häusern rechts und links, die Hausnummern haben, konnte man sich orientieren. Es gibt keinen Garten, nein es gibt ÜBERHAUPT KEINE PFLANZEN. Alles ist betoniert. Nur bei den Häusern rechts und links gibt es Palmen oder andere Pflanzen. Auf dem Grundstück MAVS ist das Unkraut das einzige Grün, dass zwischen dem Beton wächst. Nach der Ankunft sind wir zu unserem Studio gegangen und haben versucht, die Schlüsselbox zu öffnen. Die Daten hatten wir vor 2 Wochen schon erhalten und noch einmal AKTUELL am Tag unserer Anreise um 12 Uhr bekommen. Wir bekamen von Studio 4 die Box nicht auf mit den erhaltenen Daten WIS. Also schrieben wir eine Info über Booking.com an den Gastgeber. Wir hatten keinen lokalen Vertrag für unser Smartphone und wollten die Roaming- Kosten sparen. Es kam 15 Minuten lang KEINE ANTWORT. Daraufhin riefen wir die erste angegebene Telefonnummer an. Die Nummer war in Florida. Niemand ging an das Telefon. Dann haben wir die zweite Nummer versucht. Das war eine Nummer in Puerto Rico. Auch hier ging niemand an das Telefon. Nach mehr als 1 Stunde haben wir endlich jemanden erreicht unter der 2. Nummer. Der Mann hieß Jose und sprach KEIN ENGLISCH. Also haben wir aufgelegt und mit Hilfe des Google Übersetzers folgenden Text erzeugt: "Hola, llevamos una hora frente al Estudio 3. El código WIS no funciona.". Wir riefen erneut an und es ging nur der AB ran, also sprachen wir den Text auf. Nach weiteren 15 Minuten bekamen wir eine Antwort per Textmessage: " Bitte gehen Sie zu Studio 5 der Code ist NAL". So, und das funktionierte dann endlich. Wir konnten nach 1,5 Stunden unser Apartement beziehen. Hier kam die nächste Überraschung: Es gab keinen Schrank, keine Haken, nur 1 kleines Fenster. Es war dreckig. NIE WIEDER!

The property is well maintained and nice to have a pool option after the beach. The studio room I had was big enough for 2 people. The parking in the gated area is great.

The property is a drive from the beach and the streets in the area have lots of potholes.

It was a little difficult to figure out the key letters for the access code at night.

I love that we had our own private resort @ Mav’s with our own private pool. I always like a pool to do Water Aerobics.

Nothing about the stay,but the lights did go out for a day. We went to the Combate Hotel for the night

Very cozy and private

Nobody was at the apartment and we got lost. The location needs an upgrade on the GPS App. Also, we had problems opening the apartment's door, since the key was stored in a little box that was difficult to open using the combination that was given to us. But after almost 30 minutes we managed to open the door. We also had a difficult time trying to get in touch with the apartment manager. But other than that, we had a good time.

Location was great, it's was clean and spacious.loved the pool

One of the couches was broken, no extra linens, toilet paper or garbage bags.

Install a house number so people can find it. Install a generator so it is usable in a blackout so common in Puerto Rico. Call your customer or email your customer if the property is unusable and locked. Do NOT promise not to charge the customer then charge the customer. It is very disrespectful to waste customer time and lie about a credit.

Our experience was extraordinary. We really liked the studio, the cleanliness and everything we needed to have a quiet and cozy weekend, as good as new. It is very well located, steps from the beach. The location allowed me to do my morning run safely to the beach entrance and back. I recommended it to my friends who came to Combate this weekend. It will definitely be our place to stay whenever we return to El Combate.

Nothing to say, everything was perfect.

Awaiting refund changed booking for checking the 11th due to Orlando storm and air not cooling in unit 3 changed to studio too small for the three of us. Due to medical my mother could not deal with the air not working we checked out the morning of the 12th.

Great location ,the rooms very clean and neat ,the facilities are great but the BBQ didnt have gas so we were unable to use it ,the kitchen had all the equipment need it !

Water problems, horrible to take a shower. no plates in the kitchen.

There is plenty of space and privacy for each cabin/apartment. It has a big pool, basketball court, plenty of space to just sit around and hang without leaving the property.

The water situation, nothing to do with the rental place… there was water pump damaged outside the establishment and water kept cutting off at certain times during the day/night.

The proximity to Combate beach.

The ONLY positive thing I can say about this location is the proximity to Combate beach, otherwise, this place should be shut down. The property number they have listed is a 305 number that NO ONE answers calls or texts. They don’t answer emails. Not before your reservation, not during and definitely not after! The person in charge of that phone is “Bebita” who has no profesional mannerism whatsoever, she should definitely NOT be in the hospitality industry. She doesn’t even live on the island, by the looks of it she’s somewhere on South Beach too busy to answer anybody’s calls, texts or emails. I was 10 minutes away from the property with no information on how to access the studio “deluxe” I had already paid in full for 7 days. I happen to find a number of a maintenance guy that was as helpful as he could possibly be. To make a really LONG STORY short, I was moved three times to three different units and ALL three lacked BASIC sanitation and cleanliness issues that should be PLAIN AND SIMPLE BASIC protocol!!! In no way shape or form was I expecting or asking for service/amenities of the Ritz Carlton or The Waldorf. The lack of sanitation and cleanliness that this property has is really concerning and in my years living and visiting the island, even with older properties, I had never come across such situation. I was promptly greeted by live roaches in the kitchen, I think I may have interrupted their 4pm coffee break, pubic hairs and soap residue in the tub from the previous guest, multiple hairs in the beds, bodily fluid stain in the sheets (it was obvious that the bed sheets had not been changed from the previous guest) a dead bug on the bathroom towel sitting on the rack, food from the previous guest in the fridge, fridge gasket strip had mold, the whole interior of the fridge was wiped down and the paper towel came out yellow, no hot water, the beds sit as low as below your knees and hard as a rock. MY REVIEW WAS CUT SHORT, I will post on Google.

Isolated and close to beach.. not walking distance

Problem with a sink and I was given the handy man’s phone number to call like it’s my issue? No thanks.. not making phone calls on vacation

Overall, pretty good place to stay if you want a more secluded, quiet, pretty beach community to stay. Price was good overall - even with cleaning fee, etc. added on. We used the pool too- that was nice even with our neighborhood friendly iguana hanging out with us. On the email received before we arrived, remember to use the googlemaps directions- otherwise the place is very difficult to find at 10:30 p.m. in the dark! Do not use your "regular" maps app or it takes you to a completely different street, blocks away. Equipped kitchen with pots, plates, cups, silverware. full size refrigerator and freezer (and bottle opener) if you would like to cook. Paper towels and one roll of toilet paper included. No dishtowels. Granted, we spent only sleep and shower time there- the rest of the time, we were out and about. Bed reasonably comfortable. Bring your own wire hangers if you need hangers. We left the wire hangers we brought there. (We had read in a previous post about no hangers at all in the closet). Bring or buy your own beach towels. None are provided at the pool. Handy bathrooms near pool area.

On the email received before we arrived, it suggested you call (Nando) if you need assistance. But he speaks no English, so this was difficult to communicate. There is no "front office/reception" area to call or to stop into if you need something. For instance, we had 2 bath towels for the 2 of us, yet no hand towels or washcloths. I'm a person that uses one. Luckily, I saw a cleaning person cleaning a room after another family checked out and I asked for 2 washcloths at that point- 2 days into our stay. She gladly got me the 2 washcloths. On the same email, there was another number to text if you needed assistance (Bebita)- and she did speak English, but she was not local. She assisted with the directions there. Unit #3 if very hard to find in the dark at 10:30 p.m. when we arrived. It is behind #2, with a gated courtyard to open first, and only THEN can you see #3 on the door. It would have been extremely helpful if the #3 had been posted on either or both of the gates that lead into the courtyard that access Door #3. Again, in the dark of night, it was hard to find. Lastly, there was an open window on the lower level that had a storm shutter that would not close, so the heat of the day crept in even with the fan on. (Only a ceiling fan downstairs and both an AC unit and a ceiling fan upstairs in the bed/bath area). The handle on the shower faucet kept falling off over and over, so getting the temperature right took a while. If you need a hairdryer, bring one. That is not included.

It was clean and functional. Very basic.

Location was very hard to find. Address was not correct. Toilet was wobbly. No amenities. Water not very hot. Having to manually open and close the car gate each time in or out. Condensation from another unit audibly heard each night. Loud enough to wake us up. Very loud.

Clean and nice for a family. We enjoyed having the pool to ourselves.

Very basic - could use a cooler, beach chairs and washer/dryer.

Enjoyed our stay and if we needed anything we simply texted and received quick and professional responses.

I was charged for $125 cleaning fee which make no sense because it is not refundable. So I'm supposed to pay for their house keeping?

The swimming pool was descent except for the mosquitos and flys that were horrendous.

There was no air conditioning in the 1st floor and the mosquitos and flys were to much. There was no fans or any other type of ventilations.

I was expecting a suite with an extra bed. Still, the space was sufficient for m stay. The property is clean and rooms are immaculate. It is quite a long drive from San Juan, but totally worth it. Will definitely stay again.

Room was not as expected but it worked out just fine. Anyway, I did not come to Puerto Rico to stay in the room all day. (LOL). Parking is tricky but it worked out. If you hear honking or alarms its probably someone wanting you to move your vehicle. Just take it easy, see what's up and move your car...
