Tout était parfait ! Le cadre est magnifique, avec une vue incroyable, et le personnel est vraiment accueillant et attentionné. Nous avons même pu organiser une journée snorkeling grâce à eux. Un séjour magnifique dans un endroit qui nous a vraiment marqués !

We loved our stay here. You will be made to feel very welcome by the hosts Lia, Michael, Aris and Risky. The villas are basic, but very clean and very spacious. There are fans to use, but doors open with sea views and breezes keep the temperature down. We were here at the end of August and there were no bugs at all, but nets around the bed if required. Food was plentiful and adequate. You do have other food options if you walk across to the other side of the island. If you are a dog lover, there are two gorgeous, very well behaved dogs. The swimming pool was a bonus and boat trips can be arranged to nearby islands for great snorkelling. A special thanks to Risky who looked after us extremely well and thankyou for his great music selections! ☺️

If you wanted a variation in the food, a 20min walk was needed.

Incredibly sweet people and their 2 dogs. They have made sure that the stay was truly memorable for us. They can help with transportation, snorkeling tours,… they are very good and their job and the food was also great. They helped me organize a 10 year anniversary surprise for my wife, which they made extra special. Their dogs are the sweetest dogs in Indonesia.

No small fridge in the room, but you could also put something in their fridge.

Das Resort lag direkt am Strand und war sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Am Anfang war die Anreise etwas verwirrend, da es auf Google Maps sehr abgelegen wirkte und wir durch Wald und an verlassenen Häusern vorbeilaufen mussten, was aber kein Problem war. Auch die anfangs bellenden Hunde waren eigentlich freundlich und gehörten dem Besitzer des Resorts (keine Strassenhunde). Das Personal, Rizki und Aris, war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und immer erreichbar. Wir hatten ein schönes Zimmer für 4 Personen, wobei jeder sein Einzelbett hatte. Ebenfalls gab es ein Häuschen, in dem das Badezimmer war. Es gab auch einen Pool. (Allerdings wollten wir dort nicht unbedingt schwimmen, weil wir gesehen haben, wie die Hunde bereits drinnen waren - genug Zeit hatten wir abgesehen davon sowieso nicht, um im Pool zu schwimmen.) Das Frühstück hat uns sehr gut gefallen, mit Pancakes, Eiern in verschiedenen Variationen oder Müsli. Ausserdem gab es einen Getränkekühlschrank mit kostenlosem Wasser zur freien Verfügung. Für unseren Tauchtag bei "The High Dive Gili Gede Resort & PADI 5 Star Scuba Dive Centre" wurde uns immer das Boot organisiert, entweder vom Tauch Centre oder von unserem Resort (ausser bei der allerersten Fahrt zur Insel Gili Gede, was aber ebenfalls einfach war). Auch der Sonnenuntergang, ein Spaziergang am Strand und das Muschelsammeln waren sehr schön, und man konnte sich frei auf dem grosszügigen Gelände bewegen.

Mein Bett war leider nicht ganz sauber – es hatte Kot von einem unbekannten Tier darauf, und auch die Bettwäsche war nicht sehr sauber, weshalb ich lieber auf meiner eigenen Decke geschlafen habe (was aufgrund der Wärme aber ohnehin kein Problem war). Zudem war die Kommunikation zu den Getränken wegen des Getränkekühlschranks etwas unklar: Am Anfang wirkte es, als sei alles inklusive, am Ende mussten wir aber für Getränke wie Cola oder Fanta trotzdem bezahlen. Das hätte besser kommuniziert werden können. Das Wasser war ja aber kostenlos.

Está súper bien ubicado. El personal es adorable, muy servicial atentos en todo momento. Tienen dos perritos súper amables. Muy bien todo la verdad . La comida súper buena y además te dejan gafas de snorkel y aletas y un bote para investigar la isla.

Das Resort liegt ganz wunderbar direkt am Meer. Man hat von seinem Bungalow aus eine super Aussicht über das Meer hinweg bis nach Bali. Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig. Die Bungalows sind in die Jahre gekommen, aber für den Preis noch akzeptabel. Man kann sehr gut vor Ort essen. Ob man ohne Klimaanlage nur mit Ventilator klar kommt, muss jeder selbst entscheiden. Es gibt keine Fähre nach Gili Gede, aber Boote, die einen direkt zum Hotel bringen. Sie starten bei Tembowong Harbour auf Lombok.

Die Räume sind wenig durchdacht eingerichtet: Es gibt kein gemütliches Licht. Es gibt einen geschlossenen Kleiderschrank, was bei dem Klima natürlich nicht funktioniert, er hat sehr gestunken, wenn man ihn aufmachte.

Das Resort ist wirklich schön, ab vom Dorf und deswegen sehr ruhig. Man hört nur die Wellen. Alle in Khabita Beach Resort sind sehr hilfsbereit und herzlich. Sam und Buddy, zwei liebevolle Hunde, haben unseren Aufenthalt bereichert. Die Menus wurden immer frisch zubereitet und waren immer sehr fein. Danke für Alles, liebes Khabita-Team

had such a lovely time here. i was a solo traveler and happened to be the only guest when visiting so i had the entire place to myself, and much of the surrounding beaches and coral reefs. the staff were fantastic, kind and friendly and funny - the perfect balance of giving space and building connection. the room opening up onto the ocean was amazing (a fan was plenty, no need for AC), the dogs were friendly, and i also had a couple different favorite beaches - i kayaked to gili layar once (it wasn’t the easiest but we did it) for snorkeling, walked to a beach past the village for snorkeling, and the beach just next door southward is a lovely little stretch of privacy. also loved the food, especially the veggie curry, and you should ask to try some of their own dinner if they have extra - it was yummy. all in all a great quiet peaceful trip where days were spent mostly snorkeling or reading or napping. your call on how long you need that for. enjoy !

Absolument incroyable ! Notre meilleur hôtel en 2 mois de voyage ! L’emplacement est paradisiaque, littéralement les pieds dans l’eau ! Les bungalows sont simples, propres et peuvent être totalement ouverts sur l’extérieur, un régal ! L’accueil du staff est hors du commun, une gentillesse et une simplicité extraordinaires ! Vous vous sentez comme à la maison ! Nous sommes allés faire une journée de snorkelling en bateau grâce à eux, et chacun de nos échanges avec le staff était plein de gentillesse et de douceur. Ils ont vraiment réussi à insuffler une âme à cet endroit ! Nous y étions le jour de Noël et nous avons partagé un repas tous ensemble, autour d’un délicieux plat, suivi d’un feu d’artifice et d’un karaoke ! Nous sommes partis nostalgiques et nous souviendrons longtemps de ces quelques hors à Khabita Resort ! Un immense merci !

Our stay at Khabita Beach Resort was unmatched - we were welcomed by Lia, Michael, Aris, Risky and their two beautiful dogs and immediately felt at home. The views from the resort were unmatched, the food was a daily highlight, and the accessible snorkelling equipment and kayak were a perfect additional touch. We unfortunately experienced a personal incident whilst on our stay and the team couldn't have been more accommodating to make us feel comfortable and cared for. If we are ever near Gili Gede in the future, we will definitely make a trip back again. Thank you very much for your kind hospitality!

Als je van rust en stilte houdt... Dan is dit absoluut je plekEn het uitzicht is adembenemend. Weg van druk tourisme. Per boot vanaf Lombok to voor de deur van je resort. Een zelfde boot pikt je voor een snorkel of duik trip. Ze regelen alles voor je.Diw snorkel trip is zeker aan te raden. Toen we weg gingen atond iedereen ons uit te zwaaien. Erg leuk.

Amazing, the people were so friendly and helpful. We were welcomed into their home as is we were old friends. If I could give more then five stars I would. It's also easy to get there, just take the taxi boat at Tembowong Harbour. The perfect place to relax, enjoy the sun, sea, beach and to go out diving.

This location is perfect if you are looking to escape from the busy touristy spots. Reachable by boat from the harbour and a friendly welcome from the owners and two adorable dogs, we were immediately relaxed upon arrival and fed a delicious and filling meal. There is an area to socialize if desired with games and service for drinks. We did not visit the pool or dorm sharing portion but absolutely loved the beach front sea view villa. It is so quiet and peaceful here with the most beautiful views. I cannot praise the owners enough for how helpful they are and how sweet and wonderful the hard working staff are here.

Hôtel familial, accueil très chaleureux. L’emplacement est très bien en face de la mer. Plusieurs spots de snorkeling en face de l’hôtel (un sur la droite très bien et un sur la gauche). Pour être précis, cet hôtel a une très bonne atmosphère mais ce n’est pas un hôtel luxueux. Les bungalows donnant sur la mer sont grands et fonctionnels mais simples. La restauration est bien et vraiment pas chère et le service impeccable (il faut cependant commander le repas une à deux heures avant car tout est préparé à la commande). Le personnel et le propriétaires sont très accueillants et prévenants. Vous pouvez faire le snorkeling tour directement via l’hôtel (excursion fortement recommandée, coraux bleus, poisson clown, tortues au rendez-vous). Les transferts en bateau du port de kolomo Gili Gede ou Tembowong (Lombok) sont organisés facilement avec l’hôtel pour une bouchée de pain.

This place is perfect if you’re in search of a break from crowded tourism. The property is comfortable and beautiful, the staff and owners are kind and so welcoming. It’s a 10-12 minute walk along the water to a couple of restaurant/bars where you can watch the sunset. The food is good, and they have a varied menu. The snorkeling is nice right from the beach, and if you’re looking for more activity, the staff can help you arrange for a diving trip or snorkeling tour. Our day of snorkeling with Unu at four nearby islands was a highlight! They provide a water bottle refilling station in the dining area.

Less cigarette smoke and less noise from staff phones during meal times would have been nice.

Super schöne Lage in einer Bucht von Gili Gede, die Menschen die dort arbeiten sind einfach zauberhaft! Wir kamen an und haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und die Ruhe, die dieser Ort ausstrahlt ist unglaublich!

Experiencia inolvidable, un paraíso en la tierra. No esperes un resort, pero és mejor que todo eso, el personal te hace sentir como en casa. Puedes hacer snorkel por las islas cercanas para ver peces, corales y si tienes suerte tortugas.

Nous avons énormément apprécié la situation du resort, au bout de l’île, un endroit très calme, avec un personnel dévoué et très compétent. Nous avons pu partir de la plage faire du snorkeling et avons pu aussi partir avec un bateau réservé par le resort pour les 4 îles (600000 roupies pour 4). Les plats servis au restaurant sont de qualité même si le service est un peu long. Les bungalows sont très confortables avec vue mer. Pour accéder au resort, le mieux est directement en bateau en contactant l’hôte.

È stata un'esperienza meravigliosa! L'ospitalità è unica, la tranquillità e la pace del paesaggio sono impagabili. Se avessimo avuto la possibilità avremmo prolungato ulteriormente il nostro soggiorno, è stata una sofferenza andare via... Nonostante l'orario di check out fosse alle 12, i ragazzi dello staff ci hanno preparato una piccola stanza per farci rimanere tutto il giorno fino a sera sull'isola. Un luogo e delle persone indimenticabili .

Assolutamente nulla. Chiaramente sarai su un'isola e i bungalow sono tipici, con il bagno a cielo aperto. Quindi è possibile avere qualche piccolo animaletto in casa (noi avevamo un geko bellissimo) ma non è stato certo un problema!

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was good for watching the sunset. It was peaceful and quiet.

It needs a deep clean. We had an issue with ants, termites and bugs in the bed. We had to move rooms, but the new room wasn’t cleaned and we had to ask for the sheets to be changed as there was gecko poo in the bed as well as in the bathroom. Minimal compensation didn’t cover the lack of sleep and disruption. For the price we paid (over 5 million rupiah for 4 nights) we had higher expectations.

We loved this place, it allowed us to completely relax, we had all our meals in the restaurant, so we didn't really leave the property. It was perfect and the family that own and run it we just lovely.

Wir wurden vom Hafen direkt zur Unterkunft mit dem Boot gebracht und herzlich mit einem frischen Saft empfangen. Wir konnten entspannen und unsere Zeit in vollen Zügen genießen. Die Lage ist perfekt , da man am Ende der Insel sich befindet, dennoch schnell zu Fuß an tollen Warungs ist. Das Frühstück war lecker und wir haben auch das Abendessen probiert - ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden wieder kommen.

I loved everything here. The quiet peacefulness, the staff, the beautiful resort with pool, my spacious bungalow and open air bathroom. The snorkeling trip with Uno, where we saw a Seahorse and two turtles. The sunset seats, the fresh and tasty food. Playing darts with Arez. There are no cars or real roads on the island. Thus you walk or take a boat. Get here from Lombok mainland from Tembowong port (boat 100k). From the main Gili Gede port you can take a ferry on to Bali and Nusa Penida.

Nothing I didn't know before. Bring mosquito repellent. It's jungly, there are bugs and more of course. Depending on currents there is trash on the beaches coming from Lombok. I volunteered to join the cleanup at the resort twice and another during the snorkeling which is much appreciated. Gede also does a weekly cleanup in the central village where you can volunteer.

Absolutely LOVEDDDD my stay here! Was the perfect place to switch off. Just a beautiful spot right next to the sea for a swim whenever you want. The staff are AMAZING - super friendly, helpful and made me feel right at home. I didnt want to leave!!

We stayed for a week and honestly, it was amazing. If you’re looking for a place to relax, watch beautiful sunsets, connect with marine nature, and enjoy a spacious beachfront villa ¡ this is the place for you! The Wi-Fi is good. They provide a small kayak to explore the nearby islands. The beach is full of incredible seashells. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There are corals right in front of the hotel (bring your own snorkel gear). If we ever come back to Gede, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

There’s no air conditioning, and some nights it did get a bit hot.

A really good, very quiet and peaceful resort on a remote island in Indonesia. Very friendly owners and staff, delicious food, great swimming and snorkelling. Great value!

Beautifully peaceful and amazing sunsets. Our hosts Lia, Michael and team ( Aris & Risky ) could not have been more accommodating. Great for snorkeling (loaned free of charge)direct from their beach or they will arrange a boat to the neighbouring gilis using locals at a fraction of the cost offered at Lombok Harbour. Contact Khabita to arrange a driver to collect you from the airport or hotel and a boat to take you directly to the resort. Airport taxis are 3-4 times the going rate and we were ripped off at the harbour, being charged 200K instead of 50K for 2 tickets. We loved it so much that we extended our stay and were still reluctant to leave. Thanks to you all at Khabita.

It is so sad to see plastic polluting these beautiful waters and coral reefs but Khabata do their best to clear the beach. Don't let that put you off .

There has been an utmost enjoyable experience. If you value relaxation, tranquillity, amazing views, breathtaking sunsets, cosy sea just at your doorstep, nice food, and genuinely be treated as one member of the family, this is your place.

We can highly recommend this gorgeous place. Micheal and his wife are very friendly and make you feel at home. The food is superb. Really good snorkelling just in front of the resort. The sunsets are beautiful.

Khabita is exceptional and was a highlight of our Indonesian trip. If you are looking for deep relaxation, exquisite views and sunsets, generous and delicious food, phenomenal staff, excellent snorkelling with blue and soft pink corals and the ultimate time and space to reconnect with yourself and your family then this is the place for you. The only difficult part is leaving, so prepare yourself for that. Khabita will feel like home and Lia, Michael, Aris and Risky will make you feel like family. Khabita is a secret paradise, clean and calm. We went on a private snorkeling tour and saw all the surrounding islands. They also have a small boat that you can paddle yourself to wherever you want. We had an amazing time and the staff was so helpful and friendly. We really hope we can come back one day.. Thanks again!

Lia and Michael, Khabita Beach's managers, welcame us and did everything to make us feel at home. The resort is comfortable and a perfect start point to explore the reef of the SW Gili Islands.

I loved my stay at Khabita! Lia and Aris are such beautiful persons, I felt home and I was sad to leave this little paradise. The bedrooms are huge. The food is very generous. Sunsets are amazing! It’s also possible to snorkel directly from the homestay beach or to borrow a small boat and paddle to amazing places! In addition, they helped me to treat my phobia with their two nice dogs 😀

Wow! This was the holiday of a lifetime. We were so happy we found this untouched, beautiful little spot. Khabita is amazing! From the food, lodges to the food, you can’t go wrong. Snorkel trips were the highlight - turtles, blue coral, thousands of fish and rarely another sole! The hospitality was amazing, and we really were treated like family. This place will hold a special place in my heart for years to come.

Ahhh, Khabita.. As cheesy as the omnipresent "Arrive like a guest, leave like family" slogan may sound - this is where you'll feel it. I had opted for a homestay first because I am not the "resort" type of guy, but then came to check out Khabita for 1 night after all. And left after 10 days! Michael, Lia, and Aris are so incredibly friendly and welcoming and really take you in like a new member of the family from the very first moment. Their place isn't just a business for them, they genuinely want you to feel at home, and that makes all the difference. I've booked a tent but they were so kind to put me into a little backpacker room instead for the whole time. This is a wonderful place for whatever you are seeking for. Want to be active and go snorkeling? Corals are not even a minute's swim away. Want to lie in the sun and relax? This is about the only establishment on the island that really frees its private beach from plastic, twice a day. If you want to unwind and disconnect, they've got you covered with lots of space, hammocks and a calm environment surrounded by nature. Need to do some work? Wifi worked out great most of the time and the bar has tables and plugs available. Want to socialize? Well, fingers crossed that more travelers will discover this little gem soon, but when they do, they are well prepared with their self-built bar. I've had a wonderful stay there and hope I can come back soon!

The hosts Michael and his wife Liah and their staff where great. They made me feel like part of the family as soon as I arrived. It's also the best place on the island to have a reasonably priced drink in the evening and watch the sunset, I don't believe you can do that from any other resort on the Island? Also they are very helpful in booking local Island trips and onward travel. Whilst there, work on a the new Sunset bar and hostel commenced so I look forward to returning to enjoy them in the future. I'm also looking forward to hiring their new kayaks they have on order to do independent tours of the nearby Gilis/Islands, that will be amazing! 😎

This was the perfect place to relax and escape. The hosts were amazing, so helpful with everything. The food tasted amazing especially the fresh grilled fish. I will be coming back.

If you want a fantastic time in a tropical paradise, this is where you need to be. Michael and Lia are fantastic hosts, and go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need and more. The bungalows are large, clean, and have comfortable beds. The food is plentiful and tasty, prepared onsite by Lia and the local staff. The sea is just three steps from the bungalow door, and offers an underwater garden of life and colour. We will be back!

The accommodation is great! We just arrived and were welcomed like „feel like it’s your home; this is our kitchen“. In fact there was no need for us to use the kitchen, because the staff is so attentive to fulfilled our wishes immediately. Every one is very friendly and everything is clean. We extended after one day for another 2 nights and were sad when we got along our trip, because we missed this place and it’s people.

The accommodation was great at all! Sadly me and my mum were to lazy to do a great snorkeling trip. Now I know that we had should spend a lot more time to explore these beautiful snorkeling places at the island and the islands around.

Very nice and cozy place. The bungalows are big and very natural (we have the impression that we are outside with the sounds of the birds/waves), we loved the protected outdoor shower. Very quiet and peaceful. The staff were very nice and helped us organize our snorkeling tour. The beach is nice with nobody just be careful for the sea urchin.

No mosquito net, but if you ask one they give one to you !

The property was in a peaceful island and had a beautiful view of the sunset! There was a large and well maintained pool, great outdoor seating for meals, and space to hang out and enjoy the view!

There wasn’t any air conditioning on the property so it did get quite hot during the day.

We felt very warmly welcomed by Aris and the Staff at khabita and got told to feel like home which we did right away. They have a well organised kitchen and pantry which we could use. Also they have and a little paddle boat, so we were able to set out for our own adventures on the surrounding islands which offer some amazing coral reefs. The beach right in front of the Bungalows is also worth a snorkel. We initially planned to stay a night and ended up staying 5 cause be enjoyed it so much.

Wonderful stuff. We forgot our earphones and they have sent it to us in Bali. The place is very peaceful and the view of the beach is awesome

What can we say… this resort and especially the very nice people who run it were fantastic and beyond our expectations. They consider you as family, as friends… it was so difficult to leave when the time was there. The bungalows are airy and you fall asleep with the sound of the waves. The restaurant offers a limited menu but the food is made with love. The reef before the reef is in good shape with lots of healthy coral. If you snorkel by sunrise there is a big chance to spot turtles. Did I mention the sunsets with view on the mount Agung/Bali? We left heartbroken but with the genuine intention to go back. Terimah kasih Lea, Ares and all the staff.

Everything was just perfect

Beautiful spot right on the beach in gili gede. a fantastic place to watch the sunset and relax. words cannot describe the heartwarming place it is, the owners went above and beyond to make you feel like family and at home, they have a little canoe that they let us borrow to paddle out and explore, two of the loveliest and sweetest dogs I have ever met and incredible food made with love. We booked to stay in the tent as we are travelling on a budget and it was so nicely set up, extremely comfortable for two, which was a nice surprise after expecting limited camping amenities. They set up a super comfortable bed and brought out an extension lead so we could charge our phones, the showers and toilets were close and super clean (and the water was the warmest we had seen in a while).

We loved Khabita Beach Resort! It was the perfect getaway, so tranquil & secluded. Leah, Michael & Aris we’re all so friendly and helpful, Leah helped us to arrange awesome snorkelling trips too. The bungalows were gorgeous, you could open up the large windows/doors to enjoy the perfect sea view & feel the sea breeze from your room - so dreamy!

The Khabita Resort is a peacful oasis to relax and forget the stress of everyday life. Michael, Lia and their staff are wonderful hosts who are happy to help with anything from a boat tour to a snorkeling trip. the sunset at the bungalow, the view of the Bali volcano and getting up with the sound of the waves make your stay here so unique.

Fantastic accomodation! A paradise location with every evening a different gorgeous sunset over the islands and ocean. The houses are very spacious and very clean. Practically everything is renovated or new. Sleeping with the doors open with a view over the sea is fantastic. The “boat shed” is a cosy central place were you easily can feel at home. We played darts and could play our own music. The food is very delicious and everything is freshly made. We tried over the days almost everything on the menu. The beautiful sea with coral and coloured fish in front of the accomodation was unbelievable. Easy snorkeling and we where allowed to use the canou for paddeling. Besides all this also the fresh waterpool was very nice.
