ISA Hotel Amber Road

Very convenient location, with easy access to the MRT

The room 210 at ISA Hotel allocated to us was the worst accomodation in my history as a regular visitor to SGP. Sue-con does not work, room was cramped, fortunately our stay there was short. We were fortunate to encounter the housekeeper Tun Yee who was helpful. Apart from its convenient location, we didn’t think there was any value in choosing to stay at ISA Hotel. Will never ever recommend this accomodation to anyone. Poor experience overall 😠

Don’t have credit card facility so the deposit procedure is a bit clunky. The room didn’t have a window. Weird fake skylight.

Two bedrooms in Singapore! Nicely located near beach and MRT.

Be warned, there is no elevator, may need to walk up to 4th floor with luggage.

Very good location with a bus stop down the road, 10mn walking distance from a shopping mall and MRT station. Small but confortable rooms and very friendly staff at the reception.

The rooms need renovation with painting and laminates refresh. The bed linens and towels are so old that they are partly torn; they really need to be replaced with new ones. Limited space to cook and seat with only one chair per room.

Loved the appliances, and how easy it was to live here! Absolutely great location, just close by there is Amber Gardens bus stop, One Amber bus stop and a few more about 5-10 mins walk. There are 2 MRT stations nearby as well! Overall Singapore's public transport connection is amazing. Also there are multiple 7-elevens nearby so no issues with access to good food! There are food centers nearby! The hotel was amazing! The staff were very friendly and helpful too, early check out was no issue as well! Loved this place so much!

The room was a bit small for walking from one side to another together for 2 people together, but it was manageable. Also another set of towels + floor mat would be nice to have so that we could rotate and clean the other set in the washing machine. A common broom/one on request (mentioned beforehand in the manual) would be appreciated since the floors get dirty with no cleaning service provided in between a 1 week stay. Also just 1 keycard for 2 people is a bit difficult to coordinate, should be given 2 for a 2-people room.

Jó helyen volt, tiszta és tudtunk családi szobát foglalni, amiben két külön háló és két külön fürdő is volt. Még mosóport is kaptunk a recepción, amikor használni akartuk a mosógépet. Van egy légkondi az előszobában, ami tökéletesen lehűti mindkét szobát anélkül, hogy az ágyranézőket kellene egész éjszaka magunkra fújatni. Ez csodás megoldás volt.

Nincs lift, mi a 3. emeleten laktunk. Ez nem volt gond, csak infó. A szobák azért elég kicsik, tényleg csak alvásra alkalmas a szállás, legalábbis az a szoba amit mi foglaltunk. A teregetés pl elég nagy kihívás volt, amikor mostunk. De azért ezek elég minimális problémák, alapvetően minden szuper volt.

They said the deposit can be collected using credit card weeks before when I enquired. On the day of check in however they said they cannot accept and wanted cash. I had to organise cash of $100 anxiously. Not to mention that I incurred unwanted cash withdrawal fee !!!

It's approx 15 mins from the airport.. Easy access to taxi from the airport to reach the Hotel. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly.

Isn't worth the price. The towels were old. Room is very small and there was no soap and no bottled water inside the room. That deposit isnt worth it..Just a waste of time for customers.

Mini appartamento con tutto il necessario per un ottimo soggiorno. Le tante finestre danno un senso di apertura, nonostante le dimensioni ridotte dell'appartamento. Quartiere tranquillo e comodamnte raggiungibile con metro e bus. Sicuramente ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo!

Un piccolo consiglio: oscurare il vetro della porta di ingresso e sostituire la luce di emergenza con una meno invasiva.

Good location.

Booked the family studio, really small. Luckily it was for a few nights. En-suite bathroom is really tight and the wash basin is unusually low. While there's kitchenette, there's no area in the studio to properly eat the food, perhaps have to bring it down to the common lounge area.

Good location, near to Katong, Parkway and East Coast Park that has a lot of eateries. Near to bus station and 5 - 8 min walk to the MRT station where you can get around Singapore easily.

I stayed with my family together with my 2 girls and was surprised when we were told that the the cleaning is only ~once a week. We had moved from one apartment to another apartment half way through our stay as one of the room is infested with ants. While the staff did what they could to kill the ants, it still come back. Also, one of the aircon in the first apartment was not cold and the staff have to get in a service man to service it at night. The bath room shower didn't have a screen and the floor is always wet after shower. Only after feedback did the staff put up a shower curtain. The staff eventually changed us to another apartment but the washing machine broke down although they did what they could to help us to wash the clothing. The towels provided are old. Based on what we had paid, the level of hoteling experience is not matching to it.

The staff truly made this place wonderful. They are exceptionally helpful, friendly and informative.

The location was very handy for the TEL on the metro and for Joe Chiat Road, East Coast Park etc. Though compact the space provided two double beds, two bathrooms and a (very small) shared kitchenette. Given our luggage it was tricky to use this but the beds were comfy, the bathrooms clean and the showers good. Be aware no lift but we were on top floor and it was fine (baby and preschooler in tow!)

The instructions to check-in made it seem more complicated than it actually was!

there are multiple cockroaches in the room. If turn fan off in bathroom, the smell from neighboring room is disgusting.

The cleaning crew went into the room for cleaning. Took my laundry out of the laundry machine and thought it was their towels. The reset the tv, so the apps that was logged into had been reset. They went through personal belongings in the room, taking some money from a drawer. The trash bin is constantly full and over filled outside. The staff is rude and not helpful

There is no lift in the hotel and there is no option to for the selection of the floor but we got the 4th floor so it is hard without lift

Very clean and nice place. Everything you need with quick taxis into great local spots. Easy to walk to Joo Chiat Rd as well which was awesome

Checkout was a bit frustrating to get our deposit back. But got there in the end just relying on someone to wake up early.

Some how there were smoking smell 2 times even no one smoking and window all closed

I booked a studio room. It comes with small cooking facilities and washing machine and help my stay to be more comfortable.

It has no lift and I need to climb up to 3rd storey. There is no place for us to drop the room card when checking out before 9.30am. No one pick up the calls to help us return the room card too. We waited for quite a bit of time to locate the person in charge. I would like to suggest if the hotel place a box for return of room card and we no need to look for person in-charge where there is no one answer the call.

The location was great, with buses and trains very easily accessible. It is a short walk from the east coast parkway and all the great eateries of Joo Chiat. Staff were I credibly helpful and accommodating. The room was a good size, with everything we needed.

The hotel has no lift so much walk up to higher floors, which wasn't good for me having a large heavy bag but the staff were always near by and helped on both arrival and departure..

The room was cozy. The TV has netflix so you can just hang out and chill. The bustop is nearby and convenient. There are eating places and shops nearby.

Everything ok, but

The AC hangs right above the bed on the opposite wall and blows right into your face. And you can't change the air flow in any way, it still hits your head. Plus it makes a lot of noise. If you turn off the AC it gets hot and it's unpleasant to sleep. In short, we didn't get enough sleep at all.

The check-in was hazardous. No person on duty. Had to call the number a few times before osmeone finally pick up. I had to pay a deposit IN CASH. Who uses cash these days? Finally said I can do bank transfer. The deposit was not refunded to me the next day. I had to chase for a good few weeks before getting my refund.
