The location was near to many food and coffee options but above all, the service provided by Krish was excellent! He was the best start to the stay and set the tone of what to expect. He went above and beyond and was really quick to respond.

The TV wasn't working but since it was only for a night, I didn't get them to fix it. Ended up sleeping most of the day away. The room is rather small so if you're coming with a full size luggage, be prepared to attempt some acrobatics move around the room

Clean, simple, straightforward, very convenient and simple checkin, friendly staff and neighbours, accessible and easy managed.

It was a bit bright and noisy, maybe something at then bottom of the front door would have solved that. Other then that i loved it.

The shower area has no door to separate from the toilet. No lift. Not recommended for the elderlies. It's better if it is stated in the booking page. Once a week cleaning and changing of linens - it should also be stated at the booking page. Room 311's shower area was clogged. We needed to de-clog it.

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. The location was not bad.It is within walking distance of a few durian stalls and many good,I was old, eateries. The person who checked me in was very kind to bring up all my luggages❤️

I was lucky to meet the person during check-in.If not,I would not know how to check in nor did I realise that there was no elevator. The room was very small and it was hard to open my luggage.

We didn't like anything. The room was damp and full of mold. There were hairs in the bed, and the overall cleanliness was terrible. It was awful!

We had a great stay and would happily return. Jonathan and his team were friendly, responsive, and made the check-in process easy from start to finish. The location is excellent, with everything you need within walking distance. Zhongshan Mall is just a short walk away and has a FairPrice supermarket on the second floor, along with plenty of dining and shopping options. There's also a 7-Eleven, Starbucks, McDonald's, and Balestier Market and Mega Food Centre nearby, making it easy to find affordable local meals at any time of the day. The nearest bus stop is less than a five-minute walk away, with convenient connections to the MRT or direct routes into the city, including Marina Bay and Chinatown. Overall, it was a comfortable and convenient base for exploring Singapore. Thank you, Jonathan and your team, for your hospitality. We will definitely be back again soon.

the concept is very good, easy access, and great staff.

the room was a bit run down (needs a paint ) and my room window faced into a car park that is regularly used by nearby shop customers ( even late at night). The bathroom was new but house keeping are 🚫 very fussy about toilet cleaning or inside cabinets or under beds. It was a very small room but the if the room was better maintained it would have made up for the size.

I booked a room with a window, but unfortunately it had no curtains or blinds. The glass was completely see-through, and I could clearly see into Room 402 from my bed, which meant others could potentially see into my room as well. It made me feel very uncomfortable and offered very little privacy. I had also requested a lower-floor room due to mobility issues following my cancer treatment, but my request could not be accommodated. While I appreciated that someone helped me carry my heavy luggage upstairs during check-in, there was no assistance when I checked out, so I had to carry it down the stairs by myself. With no lift available, this was particularly challenging. The room was also very noisy, and I struggled to get a good night's sleep. In the end, I checked out at 4:30 a.m. because I simply couldn't rest. The flooring was also in poor condition and appeared quite worn. Overall, I really wish I had stayed at my previous hotel. I regret booking this one, as it was a disappointing experience and felt like a waste of money. Based on my stay, I unfortunately cannot recommend this property.

The property is in a great location, just a 10-minute walk from the metro station. The rooms were clean and equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

You should improve the after-hours check-in process when the reception is closed. Checking in and generating the key cards took quite a while, and the whole process was a bit stressful.

I was directed to a staircase to carry case up a flight of stairs (difficult with a disability) A pool of stained water appeared during the night from under the door. I recently completed my second stay at Habyt Novena, and once again it exceeded my expectations. The location is incredibly convenient yet peaceful, with Zhongshan Park just steps away and easy access to both MRT and bus routes. The staff — especially Jonathan and Qai — were outstanding. They were consistently friendly, helpful, and attentive, offering room assistance and thoughtful advice that genuinely made my stay more enjoyable. The room itself was well‑equipped, and the furniture provided was comfortable and practical. Overall, Habyt Novena continues to be a reliable and welcoming place to stay.

No elevator

Room with small kitchen is hard to find in Spore for reasonable price like this one.

Downstairs room is too noisy from traffic, no lift for upstairs rooms.

I enjoyed the moments of peace while relaxing in my room. The area is also nice and quiet while the amenities are accessible. The in-room facilities (air-con, TV, private toilet, heater) are also in good working condition. There's also a small fridge and an induction stove to do your own cooking. Kitchen utensils are also available in the room. The windows are sound-proof. There was a heavy rain with thunder on one of the days and I could barely hear the roar of the thunder in the room. The room I stayed in is big enough for 1 person.

Just no kitchen towel to dry my utensils after washing. Have to resort to using toilet paper to wipe some dry. :'D Took it out from the bathroom and placed it at the kitchen counter.

The staff was very helpful and the room was clean and tidy. Bed was very comfortable and we had no problems with any of the facilities.

Extremely small. Nowhere to hang or unpack clothes or store suitcases that we constantly had to move to get into bathroom or out of the door. Had to carry heavy suitcases to 4th floor because there was no lift. No-one on reception on arrival or departure so didn’t meet anyone.

The studio was located with good transportation, easy access to good vegetarian food and cafe. Whampoa market a short ride away. Mall with supermarket. Can make breakfast inside our room, overall very convenient. Friendly and helpful staff.

A smallish room. No shower screen. Morning shower water is cold, evening shower got hot water. A walk up studio with No lift.

Reasonable price

The room and desk in the room were too narrow, not suitable if you expect a place where not only to stay but also do some office work, at least not for me.

The studio provided utensils and such which was convenient, while the staff was nice.

Constant door slamming or voices from the outside can be heard quite loudly

We found the small self contained studio very useful. We were able to make our own breakfasts, keep drinks and snacks chilled and prepare/cook a couple of evening meals although we preferred to eat out either locally or in other districts of Singapore. Our room (401) did have a hairdryer (based on previous reviews we took a travel size hairdryer and didn't need to). There is a large flat screen wall mounted TV (didn't use so cannot comment). The accommodation made a very good base for our week plus stay. Mostly used the very efficient MRT (a 10 min walk up/down a hill) but we also used the buses (had to change one or two times to get to destination) as an alternative as they stopped very near to the accommodation. The staff on reception (until 7pm) are all very friendly and helpful. I had my larger suitcase carried up and brought back down which was a great help given we were on the 4th floor (no lift). There are two malls nearby, the one opposite includes a McDonalds, chemist, bakery and a large grocery store, I also used the Chinese bakery opposite the mall several times. There was a cat cafe a five minute walk away with the largest, fluffiest cats imaginable.

It is a small size so be prepared for that, however based on our research it was a similar amount as a basic hotel room without the self catering facilities. The person sleeping nearest the wall (me!) would have to shuffle to the end of the bed and shuffle along the 30cmish gap to get out. We didn't try to open the window to freshen up the room as we didn't want to alter the air con. The towel change is once a week, given how many showers were necessary we probably should have asked for clean towels in between, we did however ask and receive the extra toilet paper we needed for the duration of our stay. There is desk/table space for one and although adjustable I would have preferred a chair without armrests which meant the chair did not fit under the desk when not in use, so even less room to get past. It may be that all booking.com guests are given the fourth floor so be aware of that as no lift (which is clearly stated in other reviews anyway)

I spent 4 weeks in this Appartement. Novenas location to city center is okey, the bus takes around 40 minutes. Very small room, but got everything you need to prepare a small meal and sleep. Friendly staff and free drinking water in a small coworking space.

The room was poorly soundproofed, other guests were quite loud sometimes. Bad smell from the drainage in the bathroom. No elevator.

I liked the location and amenities in the room.

Could have told us sooner that we needed to climb stairs and there were no elevators. I was traveling with my 3 year old son and with my luggage and all, made my checking out a little difficult.

The bed & the pillow so comfortable..The aircon very cold...The tv got netflix can watch movie.

I really dont like the door went the people wants to go out especially at late morning like 2am till 3am.I understand that the door need to close it but its so annoying keep banging but not once like 2 or 3times.Its make me awake...I believe other guest also can hear the noisy door..Pls do something about the door..Sometimes the guest never think about others even they know the sign of pls Do Not Disturd means the room has guest inside.Cant sleep properly that nite such a waste.!!!

Lack of a mirror and a few amenities for daily living (handsoap,detergent), a bit cramped but it was expected.

Good location with many dining option, about 15mins walk to MRT station. Although house rules say No Durian, I could smell the durian in staircase. Helpful staff at the reception to communicate through WhatsApp as I was planning to check in outside of their office hours.

First of all, the space were too small for even two people to stand. Second,the hallway was very smelly. This is a total waste of money

This was by far the worst travel experience in a long while, starting with a lengthy back and forth trying to arrange a check-in after 7PM, took many messaging platforms, emails, phone calls, etc, to get anything out of them. I specifically booked a Premier Room for this trip, and on arrival they shoved me into a windowless stuido on the first floor, trying to gaslight me that I was "upgraded" because the shower had in my original room was broken. It took a lot more effort and arm-twisting to get any compensation out of them, making this overall a horrible experience that I'll never do business with Habyt at any location ever again.

The hotel was comfortable, but customer service needs to be improved. Especially, it was very concerning that no one at the front desk after 7 PM. This time, I left my key in the room and couldn't find a front desk staff to help me, Unfortunately, I had to leave for the airport at 6 AM the next morning，but the staff starts work at 10 AM. This meant I would not be able to retrieve my luggage until 10 AM and would have to sleep on the street. Finally, I found the emergency room card in the mailbox and retrieved my luggage, so I escaped the disaster safely.

The staffs are friendly, the room is pretty clean and cozy as well. I got a bit allergic at the first room we stayed and when I informed the receptionist, he quickly arranged a different room for us. Highly recommend it!
