The hostel it inside

Freundliches Personal vor Ort in der Unterkunft und gemütliches wenn auch sehr weiches Bett.

Der Raum hat modrig gerochen und man konnte Feuchtigkeitsstellen an der Wand erkennen. Der Schalter für die Raumbelüftung ist mit dem Lichtschalter gekoppelt und ich konnte nachts die Lüftung nicht benutzen. Das Bad war klein und nicht so sauber und der Spiegel so hoch angebracht dass ich mich nur halb sehen konnte. Das Duschwasser wird per Gas erhitzt und ich hatte nur einen begrenzten Zeitraum bevor das Wasser wieder kalt wurde. Internet hat auf meinem Zimmer nur hin und wieder funktioniert. Bei der Organisation meiner privaten Bromo Tour habe ich unwissentlich mit verschiedenen Leuten per WhatsApp Kontakt die sich nicht abgesprochen hatten. Als ich ankam wusste der Mitarbeiter nichts von der Tour die ich mit seinem Kollegen besprochen hatte.

The staff were absolutely wonderful and very welcoming. They helped me arrange my Mount Bromo trip and kindly assisted with my original Ijen itinerary when I was feeling unwell. I decided to extend my stay for another night, and it was a great decision. I had a memorable experience here. The surroundings are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the hospitality is exceptional. I highly recommend this place!

Pratique quand on veut aller à Bromo. Une partie dortoirs et quelques chambres individuelles, certaines avec salle de bain communes et une avec salle de bain individuelle. Au calme dans la nature.

Offre de restauration minimalise (cuisine qui ferme tôt le soir, omelette seulement pour le petit déjeuner). Salle de bain.

Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung und sauber. Für den Preis ist es okay!

Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass der zwar nette Host uns nur hinsichtlich seiner Profitoptimierung beraten hat. Die Lage ist zu weit weg vom Bromo und den Roller hat er uns nicht verliehen weil er uns unbedingt in eine Jeep Tour setzten wollte. Weil der Bromo gesperrt war haben wir uns dazu überreden lassen aber andere Traveler haben uns erzählt, dass man durchaus hätte hoch gehen können wenn man gut beraten gewesen wäre. Da wir dann mehr Zeit hatten wollte er uns noch eine Wasserfalltour verkaufen die super teuer gewesen wäre (nicht Tempur Waterfall) sondern ein kleiner. Auch der Fahrer den er uns dann organisiert hat war teuer. Wir hatten auch den Abend vorher den Shuttle vom Flughafen mit ihm organisiert was grundsätzlich sehr gut funktioniert hat aber obwohl er wusste, dass wir spät ankommen gab es für uns keine Option mehr etwas zu essen, wir sind also hungrig ins Bett. Alles in allem würden wir die Unterkunft nicht empfehlen weil es aus unserer Sicht nicht gästefreundlich ausgerichtet ist. Das haben wir bisher noch nicht so erlebt.

Good location for a short trip to see Bromo and a super peaceful spot in the mountains. Loved relaxing in the hammocks. The room was quite small but comfortable. Staff was super friendly and accommodating though.

There is not much else in the area without renting a scooter. Bring earplugs as it sounded like the people next door were literally in the room. The dorms are all booked every night by the overnight Bromo trip groups, so it doesn't have much of a hostel feel if you're staying for more than one night.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans la chambre deluxe qui est tres bien et tres calme. Environnement tres calme, joli et reposant, un peu à l'écart de la foule qui va au Bromo, magnifique lui aussi. On a pu voir le coucher et le lever du soleil malgré les incendies proches et la fermeture du parc. On est allé voir aussi une cascade spectaculaire sur les tres bons conseils de l'hôtel. Location de scooters sur place. L’equipe de l'hôtel est tres accueillante et arrangeante

Heel behulpzaam personeel. We kregen leuke tips om te doen, zelfs voor onze volgende bestemming. We konden alles regelen via de accommodatie, heel handig!

La cercanía

Il dormitorio si trova in un posto meraviglioso immerso nella natura. La camera è molto carina e abbastanza pulita; a tal proposito la pulizia è quella che ci si può aspettare in un posto immerso nel verde, per cui nessuna sorpresa di trovare insetti in giro. Noi in camera non ne abbiamo comunque mai visti. L'ambiente è molto conviviale e i pasti proposi gradevoli. Suggerisco di affidarvi a loro per il tour sul bromo perché è organizzato in maniera tale da evitare file e caos.

La vue du site en plein milieu de la nature.

L'auberge est très reculée de l'axe principal de ce fait si vous ne souhaitez pas dîner sur place ce n'est pas très pratique. Les repas sont servis jusqu'à 19h L'insonorisation est une catastrophe vous entendez littéralement la conversation de votre voisin de chambre, quand on sait qu'on dort ici que quelques heures avant l'ascension c'est moyen.

La cena prenotabile in struttura. Camera semplice ma adeguata per l’escursione del Bromo. Lo staff disponibile ma non ci ha descritto bene l’escursione che avevamo prenotato creando un po di confusione e disorientamento. Se prenotate l’escursione al Bromo con loro non è prevista la guida fino alla vetta ma solo il trasporto.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella camera con bagno privato. Struttura accogliente e in mezzo alla natura. I ragazzi che la gestiscono sono gentilissimi. Abbiamo cenato molto bene e abbiamo fatto con loro il tour del bromo. Super consigliata

El personal era muy agradable, nos facilitó mucho la estancia ayudándonos a hacer el tour y luego conseguir transporte hasta surabaya.

La ducha no funcionaba, solo salía agua por el grifo pero no por la ducha además de que no salia agua caliente por mas que se subiera la temperatura del termo. La higiene brillaba un poco ppr su ausencia

Struttura comodissima come base per la salita al Bromo, immersa nella natura e tranquilla. Abbiamo soggiornato in camera privata ed era spaziosa e comoda. I ragazzi ci hanno organizzato l’escursione suggerendoci una salita che effettivamente ha evitato la folla che inevitabilmente si crea. Andateci!

The staff is exceptionally kind and attentive. They helped me coordinate taxis and ojeks and were available to cook a meal when needed - I’ve never had a better experience at a hostel. The beds were also very comfortable.

Todella ystävällinen henkilökunta, iloinen vastaanotto. Kaikin puolin siisti huone ihanassa luonnonläheisessä ympäristössä. Majoituksesta sai ruokaa ja juotavaa. He tarjosivat myös retken Bromolle hyvään hintaan. Olimme erittäin tyytyväisiä tähän majoitukseen!

Shared shower upstairs did not really have hot water, the one in the private room was fine.

It was amazing! Mardira (the receptionist) was so helpful and friendly. I was stuck in Probolingo coz of a flood and he asked me to place my order for dinner as the in-house chef leaves at 7pm. He saved the food for me and reheated it for me, dude was a true bro. Food was friggin’ amazing btw!!! I got the property at a great price and had a super cheap Bromo tour package arranged by them. The accommodations were super cute and comfy. Overall, I wished I stayed longer instead or rushing off to Ijen. :( Will definitely come back when I have the chance!

I think the only issue I have - and this is me nitpicking - is that the water heater goes from hot to cold randomly on occasion when you are taking a shower. It’s a non-issue but just an fyi.

After booking a guesthouse with too many cockroaches, we decided to try this place out. When we came, we were immediately impressed! This place is stunning with its calm and green scenery. The beds are wide and thick, so they are pretty comfortable! We (me and my friends) only stayed one night but we wished we stayed for more😊 The people who works there are so kind and very helpful too, and the place was very hygienic in my opinion. When we had trouble finding a ride, someone working there helped us find someone who could drive us around for a fair price🙌🏻 And also the food here is very good. If you’re looking for a nice, quiet and scenic stay, this is your place! Definitely recommend!☀️

Beautiful setting, very peaceful. Helpful staff and good - albeit simple - food. Room was basic but had everything I needed.

The noise from the neighbours was insane. They have a PA system and blast hideous aggressive music out as you go to bed. Given most people are getting up for a 2am start it’s a complete nightmare. Staff were very apologetic and handed out earplugs but there’s some sort of local issue/politics going on - such a shame. Bathroom could be cleaner. The room had an overpowering air freshener!

ALI! Definitely Ali and the cooking crew were the highlight of our stay. By the time we arrived we had a welcome tea, karaoke, bonfire and fast and delicious food. We repeted for breakfast because it was delicious! The nature surrounding the place is beautiful

The lack of privacy in the cabins. We were with a big group so it was ok to do noise but our friends could even hear when we moved in the matrass. Another big problem was the lack of AC, it was warm and you could not have the windows open because of insects/animals, there should be a mosquito net in the window so you can keep it open. Also the road is a bit narrow and bumpy for big cars.

Gorgeous, awesome, beautiful place with amazing ambience and scenery. Completed by the friendly staff and team, they are very sweet and helpful. We arrived almost in the middle of the night, but Alif was waiting for us patiently to welcome us with a warm smile and his sincere hospitality. He also joined us chit chat and gave us a lot of information about his place and tips for our trip to Bromo. With full effort, he provides us with a hot drink, fire bracket and anything we need even though it's already late nite. And he also gives us watermelon too ! Thank you Alif and team... you've given us a memorable time for our short stay... For sure we'll recommend this place to our colleagues who plan to go to Bromo.

Maybe the location. It’s a bit far but anyways

Excellent place to stay before hiking Bromo. It is very clean and new, just like the photos. The dorm has everything you need, including a comfy bed and warm blanket. Check in was quick and easy even when arriving after 8 pm. At that time the small kitchen was already closed so pls ahead for food if arriving late. I would definitely stay again when I’m in the area. Other people have mentioned that the road to the property is bumpy but it is not an issue at all as you can see in the included photo. There is an easy path for a scooter and any car will have no trouble. Enjoy your stay!

Staff are super friendly, I absolutely loved everything about this place. the room is not that big but very comfortable. bed and shower are very good. Everything is clean. Food is affordable and great too. there are also some restaurants around too. if you wanna rent a scooter, you can rent directly with them. I couldnt do it cuz was raining a lot. Anyway, the view is beautiful too. I would stay there again! Mount Bromo is must have experience. If you go alone you can arrange a jeep tour with them, I paid 485 rupias.

Loved the stay amidst nature. The dorm was clean, with comfortable beds and clean sheets. The washrooms too were clean, and hoy water supply was there.

Nothing as such.

Ich hatte das Doppelzimmer und ein Bett im 6er Schlafraum. Alles war sehr sauber. Ich konnte wunderbar schlafen. Aufgrund der Höhe wurde es abends kühl, eine Klimaanlage braucht man nicht. Es ist ein bisschen abseits der Straße, so daß es sehr ruhig ist mit Blick auf einen Berg. Die Gastgeber helfen bei allen Belangen. So wurde ich mit dem Motorrad nach Sukapura gebracht, um von dort mit dem Damri Bus nach Surabaya zu kommen. Zudem kann man am Hostel Motorroller mieten, um in einer halben Stunde zum Bromo, Cemoro Lawang, zu kommen. Der Verkehr oben ist entspannt.

Fantastic staff, great food, and a nice view out the back. I’d definitely stay again. Bathrooms are separate from delux rooms, but there are enough of them and the water pressure is strong. Hot water as well. It’s a perfect temperature at night. Only a long sleeve shirt/light jacket necessary at night.

Een fijne kamer. De omgeving is ook erg mooi. Het bed was comfortabel. Personeel was vriendelijk.

Ga er niet vanuit dat je altijd via hier een gezamenlijke tour kan doen met medereizigers. Mocht je echt een gezamenlijke tour willen doen, zou ik ergens anders boeken. De kamers kunnen erg warm worden.
