Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Hatten eine ganz kurzfristige Buchung benötigt, super geklappt. Eine Mega herzliche Begrüßung, eine sehr liebevolle Gastgeberin. Sehr gepflegte und saubere Unterkunft. Klasse Service in allen Bereichen. Klasse Tipps bekommen dazu für unsere Weiterreise.
Es gab nichts zu beanstanden.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Fabulous hosts providing a very authentic Irish home experience. A lot of thought had been made about the items made available in the bathroom with excellent attention to detail. The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and we wish we had planned to stay for longer. Location is quiet and off the beaten track but with access to Lough Red and the pub at the end of the road was a great place to spend an evening.

Hemos estado en varios B&B y este ha superado a todos por mucho. Una pena que solo dormimos una noche en nuestro trayecto al aeropuerto.

Reviewed Aug 5, 2026Marie war so freundlich (always lovely ;-)). Sie umsorgte uns beim Essen und immer, wenn wir uns trafen. Zum Frühstück gab es eine Riesenauswahl (Joghurt, Früchte, Smoothie, Käseplatte, Toast, nach Wahl Full Irish Breakfast oder Rührei) - Marie bietet so viele Möglichkeiten an. Auch im Aufenthaltsraum stellt sie Tee, Kaffee, Wasser, gekühlte Getränke (letzteres mit Bezahlung), Kekse, Riegel bereit. Noch einmal: Marie umsorgt ihre Gäste unglaublich fürsorglich. Sie fragte auch immer nach unseren Tagesplänen und gab Tipps. Auch vermittelte sie uns eine richtig tolle Bootsfahrt auf dem Lough Ree (sehr zu empfehlen). Wir würden gern wiederkommen!

The breakfast was exceptional and plenty of coffee and tea. We would 100% stay again as Maria and John made you feel very welcome/

Marie and John were impeccably nice, my daughter loved it (and its hard to please a teenage girl...). The only noise was from the birds in the morning. Lovely ! Definitively recommend, especially if you are planning to visit many different places in Ireland.

So eine Herzlichkeit, Freundlichkeit und Liebenswürdigkeit ist uns noch nie begegnet. Ganz zu schweigen von dem genialen Frühstück. Bett super, Bad toll, einfach alles, hat uns gefallen.

Reviewed Apr 18, 2026John and Marie have opened up their home to guests and their friendliness and care for others really shows through. This is a quintessential "bed and breakfast" experience, staying with someone in their own home. The room was very comfortable and the bathroom was updated and nice. Of all the places we stayed, this one had the nicest stuff in our room for us to use. The water was bottled, which was nice, and there were slippers for us and even a period kit for those who might have their period start unexpectantly. It really shows the amount of thought and care that they put into everything. The breakfast was delicious too. I would definitely suggest this place to anyone staying in the area. Plus, they have sheep!

Reviewed Apr 17, 2026Very friendly welcome, over and above our expectations, able to sit and have tea, coffee biscuits while watching TV in the lounge. Large hot shower. Watching the lambs outside while having breakfast, with delicious homemade bread and the best black and white pudding I’ve tasted! Lots on offer to suit all tastes. I left my coat and Marie offered to post! Had to pump tyre up down the road to find they had rung ahead to let them know A*++++ can’t rate them enough also very quiet at night and a very comfortable bed and sleep, if you’ve forgotten anything they had it in the bathroom. Highly recommend.

Reviewed Apr 5, 2026Die Gastgeberin Marie war extrem freundlich und hat sich auch Zeit genommen, obwohl wir erst um 22:00 angekommen sind. Das Zimmer war perfekt und sehr sauber. Marie hat uns auch super Tips für Unternehmungen in der Nähe gegeben. Die Gegend ist super schön und das B&B ein Traum. Das Frühstück war köstlich und Marie ist wirklich eine tolle Gastgeberin. Wenn wir mal wieder in der Nähe sind, kommen wir gerne wieder. :-)
Gar nichts, wenn es mehr als 5 Sterne geben würde, hätte sich Marie diese definitiv verdient. :-)

Reviewed Aug 16, 2025Die ländliche Lage ist überaus genial , man sitzt auf der Terrasse und hat dann Besuch von den Schafen die auf der Wiese grasen. Die Vermieterin Marie ist sehr sehr nett , sie führt dieses B+B mit sehr viel Liebe und das merkt man auch. Es war sicher nicht das letzte Mal , wir kommen wieder. Da ist die Welt noch in Ordnung. Zum Frühstück gibt es das traditionelle Irish breakfast , das sehr gut ist . Außerdem kann man sich dann auch noch am Buffet bedienen , mit Toast , verschiedenen Säften , Joghurt ect. Man fühlt sich richtig wohl.
