Reviewed Dec 10, 2025Stunning property, we loved everything about it. The balcony views are to die for. The security aspect was great too, being in a gated community. Very well appointed throughout, all 4 of us were super impressed. Location cannot be beaten, with uninterrupted views of the ocean and a 5 minute walk to the fabulous Oyster Box Hotel, which is a must do dining option.
Nothing of note, other than I think the ladies had a tiny issue finding a suitable socket for the hair drier. Overall, did not detract from our enjoyment.

Reviewed Feb 17, 2025The location is beautiful, overlooking the sea. The security in the whole Oysters complex is very impressive. The apartment was lovely, spacious, stylishly decorated and very clean. It was well-appointed with appliances. Short walk to a complete range of upmarket shops and restaurants as well as beaches.
The balcony was plain and didn’t compare with the rest of the apartment.

There’s nothing I don’t like specifically but I think it will be more nicer to add more basic amenities such as a coffee station and bottles of water for the guests.

Reviewed Aug 13, 2024Firstly,our host Clyde was so friendly and so helpful.He responded fast to any queries and he was just so pleasant.The unit is stunning,very modern and has everything you would need in a holiday unit.The lift entrance into the unit,was a major plus.Clyde is doing an excellent job of keeping this unit in fantastic condition.The position was amazing,so relaxing.The unit is right on the beach,you have breaker and ocean views.We saw dolphins and whales from the verandah.Will definitely be booking only this unit when I come to Umhlanga again.

Reviewed Jun 19, 2024The property is truly gorgeous, better than what the pictures depict. The view of the beach as you walk out of the elevator and into the apartment will stay with us for a long time to come. Gugu, the lady who freshened up the property daily was very friendly. The area was affected by a water outage during our stay and the housekeeper was efficient in keeping us in the loop with municipal communication once he was alerted of the outage. Great communication overall.
We overall loved our stay and did not have complaints about the property that warranted us to complain. What can be improved on, is the hot water in the bathrooms. Not all the en-suite bathrooms had the same water temperature. Only the main bathroom had the hot water whereas the other bathrooms had lukewarm water, worse when others had showered/bathed as well. This was not a deal breaker for us as I could still get my hot shower so I did not raise it during my stay.

Reviewed May 8, 2024what a great location this is. The apartment is spacious and neatly furnished. The elevator stops in the apartment which gives a real wow factor. The view from the balcony is so beautiful, you can see Durban city and on the left you see the lighthouse and of course the sea. There are plenty of restaurants in the area for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We only stayed 2 days, but certainly could have stayed longer. Had a really great stay!
