Very peaceful place worth every penny best to relax on weekends to have a peaceful stressfree weekend staff is also good very clean and hygienic place

Excellent value for money, everything was clean, staff were helpful. Surrounding areas were so pretty. The room was so cheap we were worried that the photos may be fake but actually everything was great! The pool area was so nice to relax in we would’ve stayed longer if we could.

Nothing, there were some bugs in the room after some time but that is to be expected if you want to stay near nature.

This property is situated in the middle of a farm in a part of Goa that still has its old school charm present. If you're wanting to be close to the beach and have a vehicle at your disposal, this place is great value for the money you spend. The rooms are clean, everything works, they provide you water and a refillable bottle during the stay. They have an open space to workout on the terrace with weights, blocks and yoga mats which is excellent. The pool is well maintained. Please do not expect hotel-like services, the staff was happy to clean my room on request.

outside the property, you'll always find some locals fishing, while I didn't mind that there are also some people who get together to share a drink outside this property in the evening. While they were harmless, it did make me feel a bit uncomfortable so just putting it out there.

Location, room, pool and service were amazing! I would highly recommend this place.

I went with my sister, and we ended up extending our stay because it’s such a beautiful place, very central and calm. What we liked the most was the staff: super friendly and always ready to help. It felt like family, and we felt very safe. :)

From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and made to feel at home. All the staff were super attentive and a huge shout out to Amit the chef :) Loved the lush green surroundings and the yoga space on the terrace. Our room had everything we needed, not a big space but adequate for me and my sister and it's perfect for the price you pay.

Little away from the beach but there is a short cut they will tell you about.

La proprietà è completamente circondata da verde, palme e natura, il che è meraviglioso e regala pace e armonia durante il soggiorno. La piscina è molto curata, è la terrazza e’ magnifica . Il letto è un king-size e di una comodità incredibile. Il ristorante offre cibo buonissimo, e le persone che si prendono cura del posto sono davvero cordiali e simpatiche. Ritornerò sicuramente.

Clean and cozy, good location very close to Mandrem beach. There were alot of power cuts during my stay but not really an issue.

The food at the café on the property was disappointingly average, especially considering the prices being charged. What stood out even more was the attitude of the head chef, who came across as rather disinterested and a little rude. He insisted that payments be made in cash and mentioned a 5% surcharge for UPI or card transactions. Having travelled extensively across India over the past six months — including four trips to Goa — I have never encountered such a charge anywhere else. What made the situation even more puzzling was the inconsistency: only the head chef and one staff member at reception mentioned this supposed surcharge. When I later paid for the booking and a coffee through another employee at the reception, no such charge was applied or even mentioned. The entire experience felt both confusing and unprofessional, which unfortunately took away from what could have otherwise been a pleasant visit.

My stay at North 39 was absolutely amazing! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality was warm and welcoming. The rooms were spotless, beautifully designed, and extremely comfortable perfect for a relaxing getaway.

Todo!! La tranquilidad del hotel, su gente, los empleadors siempre intentado ayudar y la habitación maravillosa. Equipada con todo lo necesario (AC, wc, Big Bed, TV). Jardin y Piscina idel para relaxar-se.

Lo único es q está a segunda Linea de mar, por raó su precio económico pero pot un short CUt llegas a la calle principal en 3 min.

Все замечательно, прекрасный отель, персонал всегда идет на встречу, готовят вкусно. Не возле дороги, поэтому достаточно тихо. До моря пешком, удобное расположение, посередине верхнего и нижнего Мандрема.

Quiet location at a nice property. The rooms are well kept and clean. Comfortable soft mattress and dual pillows.. Hot water was hot and abundant most of the time, but there were occasions it didn't work. No complaints about the AC. No mosquito problems. SmartTV worked. WiFi is not excellent, but good for the Arambol area. Good value food at the restaurant, delivered to the door. Staff was conscientious and quickly resolved issues that arose.

Incessant about getting payment upfront to the point of forcing you to go to the ATM lest you carry enough cash. Very low trust.

i stayed here for 17n and i liked it a lot: it's away from the noisy road, in the middle of fields with nature sounds :) goats etc. from the back side of the hotel there is a shortcut to the beach, shops and market which i used often. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Reception, housekeeping, Adobo chef and the manager himself. I had some issues with the water supply in the bathroom, after addressing it he took care of it right away. I was very happy with my room on the ground floor. It's spacious, clean and everything you need is there. Water kettle, tv, fridge and closet. I had enough room to do yoga in the room as well. 😀 bottled water is provided as well. I felt safe here. I highly recommend The North39. Thank you guys for everything.

Very clean, friendly staff and in an excellent location- only a two minute walk from the road running through beach side Mandrem .

The short cut way Mandrem was a bit dark at night and in a bit of a forest and over some stepping stones and a torch was needed but once you got used to it , it was fine

The view was very good. In mid of paddy fields. Look and feel like bali style resort. Swimming pool was good..

No proper restaurants and sitting arrangement withing covered area. In our room exhaust was not working. Beach access from backside through other properties and some dirty fields. Beach is 5 min walk from mandrem beach.

Nothing much to write about. One staff person was quite helpful he helped us when the door key was not working late in the night.

Really poor lady receptionist/ manager. She was so rude, not helpful, and highly insensitive. Absolutely poor experience staying there. Rest of the staff was fine they tried to help, but hotel doesnt have much to offer. Door key was not working. No hot water in the evening. No room cleaning even after asking. Place next to the mosquito swamp. The road leading to hotel is very narrow

Rooms were clean, very good, and value for money. Location is very good and far from crowd.

Main city is very far from the stay, plan accordingly.

Quiet cozy place, fridge and electric kettle were helpful, air condition, WiFi and smart magnetic anti mosquito nets on doors. Very delicious food at the hotel, nice swimming pool and palm trees around it.

Very small rooms, without bike difficult to reach shops or any infrastructure, bit overpriced.

Ruhig gelegen im Grünen. Trotzdem nur etwa 3 gemütliche Gehminuten von der Hauptstraße entfernt, wo sich die Restaurants, Cafés, kleine Supermärkte, Obsthändler, Kleider Shops usw. befinden. Parallel zur Hauptstraße, etwa 3 weitere Gehminuten entfernt, liegt der Strand, zu dem man durch die Beachresorts gelangt. Große, saubere Zimmer und Pool!!! Frühstück und Abendessen möglich. Super Sicht von der großen Dachterrasse aufs grüne Umland und gute Voraussetzungen um Yoga zu machen ( Yogamamatten und bolster sind vorhanden). Nettes Personal.

Room 304: The room is pretty large, comfortable and very clean. It has a balcony facing the forest. The whole place is well kept and very quiet and peaceful. Even the other guests were silent. I loved that there was no noise from TV or any music. I also liked the idea of not selling alcohol, this prevented people from getting drunk and noisy. I enjoyed the rural location, removed from the main road and traffic noise. Thank god there were no dogs or cats around. I woke up with the sound of different birds. The staff was friendly and helpful, the food was good and Ahmet , the cook, was very interested in preparing the meals to my liking. I also appreciated the intelligent mosquito barriers at my doors. The magnet closed the barrier automatically after opening it. Overall a great place for its peace and quiet !

Room 304: The mattress was way too soft. Electricity went off several times. 23 different light switches in the room were too confusing. It would be good to mark the switch for the AC.

It’s in a very tranquil location, close to amenities and a 15 min walk to the beach. There is a restaurant on site with really tasty food for good prices. There is a large rooftop area with gym equipment and space to hang your clothes or just take in the views. All the staff are really friendly and helpful. The pool was always clean and you have a lovely private balcony with views of the stunning nature. We extended our stay because it was so welcoming and peaceful. The bed was large and comfy with ample pillows and the room was very clean and spacious.

For the money I paid North39 is an exceptional accomodation. Clean room with private bathroom, stable wifi, good AC, fridge and electric kettle in the room, clean swimming pool surrounded by the palm trees. Lovely. Quiet side street but easy access to shops and street food. 15 min walk to the beach in the monsoon season. Initially, I have booked the accommodation for 3 days but extended for another 10. Team of great people working there, kind, smiley, very helpful with everything. Thank you, Manager Armand and the team, for making my first time in India such a pleasant experience. Thank you.

Everything was great, I stayed there for almost 2 weeks

Excellent place and really nice staff. They've had a change of management so I'm not sure what it was like before, but it's great now. Our room was clean with all the essentials (towels, soap, kettle, desk) and the bed was super comfy. AC worked well and they cleaned the room a few times during our stay. On the top floor is a nice large open space equipped with yoga equipment, fans and lights - great news if you want some space to exercise and stretch! There is a new cafe located next to the pool serving drinks and food which looked nice even though we didn't go there. Location is good - there is a shortcut out the back which takes you to the town in just a few minutes. Staff were friendly and helpful. They took our payment on card which is a rarity around here.

Really nice place to stay not far from the beach and shops. Lovely pool to relax by during the day and cafe where you can order drinks as well. Nice staff and decent rooms.

Some parts of the balcony were a bit dirty but nothing alarming.
