2209 Oceans Apartment - by Stay in Umhlanga

My wife and I spent a few nights in Umhlanga and it was exactly the break we needed. The location made it easy — morning walks along the promenade, coffee with a sea view, and the beach right there when we wanted to slow down. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet enough that we actually slept well. Staff were warm and helpful without hovering. We had dinner nearby most evenings and never felt we had to go far for a good meal. What we enjoyed most was how easy it felt to be together: no rushing, no fuss, just time by the water. We would book here again without hesitation.

The kitchen had a great espresso machine and was fully equipped, tastefully designed and furnished but good location, convenient to walk to beach and restaurants

Can get noisy, not much security, easy access for people off the street to get to the apartment

Great location. Easy walking distance with shops,restaurants and the beach. Great views from the apartment. It’s well decorated. Beds and bedding were comfortable. WiFi was good.

The noise from the road can be annoying. The apartment while on the 22nd floor does not have double glazing and the noise from the late night racing drivers and the early morning taxis is noticeable, not unbearable, if you are used to the sounds of a bustling city at night it won’t bother you. It would have been nice to have a starter pack of few coffee capsules, salt and pepper and water and washing machine liquid. We ended up running to Checkers to get the basic necessities before it closed. The previous two apartments we stayed at offered these small basics. Bring body wash too!!

It was a lovely week and thoroughly enjoyed the balcony most of all.

Perfect location! Definitely worth it! Breath taking views! The furniture, appliances and extra amenities is of the best quality! I was very impressed & satisfied with my stay, I definitely recommend this apartment! Taking bang for your buck to another level!

The sea view from all the rooms was the best

Bathing towels were not changed for our 3 nights stay. They should provide washing detergent, so that after bathing we can use washing machine to wash towels every day.

I loved everything about the property and how close it is to all the restaurants and shops.

I love everything about this property. The furnishings, the inverter, the paintings, the view.. You name it..

You must fetch your delivery from the ground floor. 😭😭😭 They don't allow delivery to the door..

Stunning views and great location.

Kitchen supplies were insufficient. There were 3 wine glasses and 2 tumblers so visitors had to drink soft drink from wine glasses!

proximity to all amenities, amazing views of the ocean, brand new apartment

not accommodating in providing a slightly later checkout - apartment has baby cockroaches - we killed at least 10 - informed host - wasn’t very alarmed or concerned about the infestation! will definitely not be booking this apartment again. Cleaning/servicing only happens every 2nd day and towels are changed every 5 days - this is a long time for an apartment that is rather expensive.

The view was nice, perfect apartment for 2 people. Super clean and comfortable place. Close to everything. Staff all round are so friendly and welcoming.

Nothing to not like about this apartment. It could do with a bigger dustbin in the kitchen and maybe 2 more towels but other than that it really is perfect.

The place was awesome. The views were amazing. We could not have gone to a better place. The entire place was really fantastic, chef's kiss! We are coming back!

We really enjoyed the comfort of the apartment , Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix, comfy balcony, comfy bed and air conditioning. Close to alot of restaurants and the lift opens into Oceans Mall. Everything was on point and an amazing place to stay and relax. I'll definitely come back again.
