The stairs made me nervous having a four year-old

It was wonderful to be in the Philippines and meet my Filipinas extended family and be able to host them. I bought a karaoke player so we had something to do. I filled the fridge from the nearby stores and it = laughter and happiness. Wonderful.

1. It is a beautiful and clean place. We enjoyed the outside sitting area and the  garden. Very relaxing. 2. It is beautiful and safe neighborhood as well. We were able to walk to the wet market,  restaurants, and tennis courts. The neighborhood contains common area facilities that include a court serving the dual purpose for Pickleball and Badminton and a swimming pool. However, the pool was undergoing construction during our stay. We recommend "Cansi" restaurant located nearby. The supermarket, Savemore, is just 2 km away. 3. Michael, the caretaker, met us for the check in and check out, assisting us with both. He was very responsive, helpful, and respectful. He also coordinated drinking water replenishment and trash disposal activities. 4. The living room and kitchen on the first floor is elegant. There was no air-conditioning downstairs but the fan was enough for us. The three Mini split units (located on the upper floor) can be used to provide cooling for the lower living and kitchen areas if temperatures become uncomfortable. 5. There are many trash cans and outside trash bins that we appreciate so much. Having a washing machine, 3 basins, a couple of pails and clotheslines are very helpful.  I love that there are cleaning supplies and sweepers. 6. Having 3 bedrooms is wonderful. The sheets, comforters, pillows, and towels are of good quality; there are plenty of them.  There were drawers and spaces to place our belongings, since we stayed for a month. (One of the smaller bedrooms did not have any storage space, however) 7. It is nice that Netflix is included in the two smart TVs. 8. A bathroom on each floor provided convenience. However, only the upper bathroom contains a hot shower.

Recommendations: The house is not soundproof in the master bedroom. Be aware that you can hear the usual outside noises common in the Philippines: dogs barking, neighbors karaoke/parties, vehicular related sounds. The two bedrooms that face the back side of the house are shielded from much of the noice by interior walls. The kitchen needs a new knife set or sharpener, a cutting board more suited for meat preparation, and a wider variety of pots and pans. Mirror for the other two smaller bedrooms would be a nice to have, but we were still content with the mirrors provided.

We found the stairs rather difficult with having no hand rail especially from the top of the stairs for elderly guests it could be difficult for them

Coming from Germany for about a week to GenSan, we had a wonderful stay as a family including our 1.5 year old baby. We felt very safe and welcome at all times and the neighbors were very friendly too. There is a small 7eleven relatively close by and also a pharmacy. We visited our family in GenSan so we had local support and transport organized privately. The house was very clean and just loved our stay in this typical Filipino house. Air condition was working well and we had no electricity brown out or anything. We used the grill for barbecue and had a nice family dinner. We were very satisfied.

My family enjoyed our stay here, the host was very warm and welcoming. Michael was very attentive of what we request. Overall was fantastic. Definitely gonna go back here.

The only thing that i don't like is the stairs not safe if you have toddler.

This property is amazing. This is not just a house but a home. The size is right for us (3-4 people), it is fully furnished, the lighting is good so it doesn't feel dim at all. This house has 3 bedrooms, all of which are equipped with AC so we don't have to feel hot with the high temperatures in Gensan. Even though the owner was not in town, she was very attentive. She asked someone to welcome us and handover the keys, even informing security at the entrance gate upon our arrival to show us the direction. The last, the house is in a residential complex with 24 hour security

Even though the overall is clean, it was a little dusty in the corners of the stairs. The house is a little bit far from downtown

Nice accommodation, peaceful, secured, near malls & convenience stores. Perfect for families on vacation. The host responds immediately and very accommodating to our requests. Definitely, we will book again in this place.

Everything was spectacular. The owner was very friendly to us and always making sure that we have a very nice stay. The house is very clean too and I'm very attracted to the cooking sets. It was nonstick pan so I don't need to buy any oil. 👍 The thing is it doesn't have a mirror to check your outfit but it does have a nice interior and exterior design. Thanks for letting us stay. 😍

The house is clean, and comfy. The house caretaker is approachable. Accessible to SM, Veranza and KCC.. A nice place to stay when in GenSan. Home away from home. ❤️
