Crossroads Hostel 1980

Nothing at all.

This is one of the worst stays I've had through Booking.com. 1. My friend and I arrived well after check-in time, only to be told that the room was not ready as the staff had forgotten that we were coming. 2. When we came back 2 hours later, the sheets were changed but the bathroom was extremely dirty and unusable. Only when we enquired did the staff agree to have someone clean it before the evening. 3. This accommodation had more problems than we ever imagined — dirty water, water turning hot in all taps, few minutes of no water at all, dust and dirt from the ceiling on the bed, no towels, no proper facilities and incompetent staff. 4. When we checked out the next morning, the staff told us that hostel was due to close down two days later and that they hadn't been taking bookings. Considering we had made this booking more than a month in advance, we could have been informed about this development much earlier. Overall a completely terrible experience. I will try to receive compensation.

No Yoga mat, no roof top to practice Yoga, Not much fresh Air in the room cause windows are kind of shut.

Toilette could be cleaner Not toilette papper Curtains and individual light could be an improvent for the future A bit noisy around because other guests

Set in a very quiet neighbourhood this little place is ideal if you just want to relax. It's a bit of a way from the main centre though. The staff were exceptionally helpful and very chilled

Cross roads hostel, I have stayed here year ago then I booked again.. Basically they maintain their standards clean house and comfort beddings...

Lower toilet door stuck for open n close. Toilet need some micro cleaning... Sometimes cleaners over look some hidden area n it create bad image for the property.

Location, Ambience, facilities, cleanliness, Service (in house and booking follow up) and over all Value for money

Hostel's location and the staff's are cool. Highly recommended place for a safe and comfortable stay.

The location is really good, garden in front & a quiet neighborhood. Hosts are helpful &the place is basically a bungalow converted into a hostel so there's enough space to hangout. Well kept place. There's kitchen to use the utensils from..

Rooms are smaller, they could've been cleaner. No ventilation in room for fresh air

Ambiance

The location of crossroads 1980 is really good if you want to be in walking distance of food and shops and yoga things in Gokulam. There’s a rooftop, lovely communal hang out spots on the 1st floor - balcony and rooftop as well - to hang out and meet people. And there’s a water filter and fridge; basic cooking stuff if you need. The hostel is quite pretty as well.

Serene neat and tidy. Courteous staff. Safe. Well maintained.

Sanitary fittings to be repaired. Bathroom doors get jammed. Independent lockers for each occupant.

Staff are really nice and Helpful! There are lot of good coffee around the area. The hostel is clean, lot of space for chilling and calm. You can also sometimes meet with a really nice yogi master

Clean rooms, nice area with lots of food options, very affordable, fairly quiet, nice staff

During peak times washroom availability could have been better, but for the price and value definitely a great stay

The host was very friendly and caring, the neighbourhood is great - calm and beautiful with lots of food places available nearby.

We ended up upgrading to a private room, but it wasn’t the cleanest of places 😅 Shower pressure was also low.

Location is calm and green, there is a small peaceful park right infront of the property.. Its a old house, renovated and decorated well. I stayed in a single room. All Guests can use the kitchen. I liked that. Staffs were friendly and good. I like the hostel vibe there. Parking is there, and it is outside in roadside, I felt its safe to park outside, as the street around the property is not crowded at all and cctvs are there for security. This place is best for those who needs a peaceful stay. As the location is lil away from noicy city centre.

Toilet was not upto the mark.

There was no parking and need to be parked over road side.

Should be arrange soft pillows and hand wash.

No staff members presence at all, they were busy with own work and mosquitoes were there so that no comfort

Everything about the hostel is lovely they stay, staff is tooo friendly and helful, washrooms are clean and neat. The overall vibe of the hostel is amazing! Recommended for anyone and everyone!

We had a comfortable stay at cross roads hostel. Aflah was very polite and helping. Its a peaceful area where you can just chill and have fun! I recommend this stay for whomever looking for relaxed time away

The hostel is located at a very good location and right in front of a lovely little park.The place is very neat and clean and kitchen also available for the guests.Host aflah is very kind and friendly.The stay was very comfortable and ended up extending for one more day.A very lovely stay at a very reasonable price.Would definitely come back to this place when I am back in the same city.
