Front desk and bellmen were very kind. However almost everyone in the restaurants are rude, constantly seem annoyed at a simple question, and need proper hospitality training if they’re going to continue at a 5 star hotel.

This was certainly a nice hotel with a great pool. It lives up to its modern appeal. Service was excellent, with the exception of being told that the breakfast would be complimentary. When we arrived for breakfast, we were told that it was not included; there would be a €35 each fee for my wife and I. Instead, we walked to Les Bessones Bar Restaurant that was a short walk away. There, we enjoyed a superb Cafe Americano and a croissant each for about €8 total. It was certainly a popular place with the locals. I doubt that I would stay here in the future, due to its distance from things to do and the absurdly cost of dinning.

Very nice underground parking with security. High end property with high end customers. Nice area for walking and close to shopping mall. Beautiful port with beautiful boats!

Very nice hotel we had an issue with the ac was told it was fixed but it wasn’t but on our last evening it was fixed after having to call out engineers again

This is a newer hotel. I have to say, the service is EVERYTHING. They went above and beyond. To their concierge service to the manager ensuring a pleasant stay. Took every detail into account and made us feel extremely special. Definitely a good recommendation

Excellent location Staff is very accommodating

For a 5 star hotel the amenities weren’t the best and if I wasn’t a silver a member there was nothing complimentary for the guests considering how much we spent on the holiday

The pool closes at 7:00pm so after a long day of sightseeing the city you cannot enjoy the pool. The hotel does not allow their towels at the beach or to be use for day trips at the beach. A family of 5 needs 3 rooms or 1 suit and 1 standard room. the hotel does not allow 4 people in one room.

Brans new hotel. Absolutely gorgeous!

Very nice hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful! The hotel was a bit further out from town but trams were easy to get to. The facilities were amazing however the only downfalls were that the spa wasn’t yet open and they didn’t have enough sunbeds so we couldnt get one in the afternoon. We had dinner at the Lora restaurant which was phenomenal!

Sls always is an intersting design hotel

We stayed a week at the SLS Barcelona and loved it. The staff was great and very helpful with whatever we needed, whether it was something for the room, things to do in and around Barcelona and getting us dinner reservations. Emma and Raquel at the front desk/concierge were especially helpful and always willing to provide assistance or guidance whenever we needed as well as constantly checking up on us to see if there was anything we needed or anything they could do to make our stay better. It was a great experience and if I had a chance to go to Barcelona again I would definitely stay here again.

An amazing hotel to stay at whilst in barca. Slightly out of town which we knew. Nice walk back into the city (90 mins) but along the beach. Get an uber, as much cheaper than a taxi if you dont want to walk. Two swimming pools which are very good. Staff were amazing throughout the stay. The breakfast was quality! Only reason why this isn’t a 5* is purely location and nextdoor to the far side is a power plant which makes the view from one side not amazing. The sunset on the rooftop bar is a must see.

Brand new location, decetly sized rooms. really nice pool area. has a rooftop pool as well. Friendly helpful staff. Unless you are willing to take the train, everything is a pretty expensive uber/taxi from the hotel. Other than that, great stay

If you are looking for relaxed luxury...SLS Barcelona has you covered. The facilities were excellent and clean. The staff were attentive, friendly and very helpful when asked - even my 10yr old son commentes how amazing the staff all were, especially at dinner. I look forward to retruning very soon and I have been telling all friends that SLS is the place to stay when in Barcelona.

Brilliant clean and away from the noise of Barcelona centre. Very nice staff and the room was amazing and high tech. I would definetly stay here again. X4 restaurant's directly outside the hotel x2 Indian, x1 Moroccon x1 Arabic If yiu want to get to the centre or main beach, get a yego scooter as it is much cheaper than taxis back and forth.

Beautiful property. Pools are gorgeous. Delicious food and drinks. Each venue had different menus which was very nice.

We had a most comfortable stay at the SLS Barcelona hotel. The service was excellent throughout—from check in, housekeeping, to check out. The decor is so beautiful.

Great new property! Depends on what you are doing in Barcelona if the location is good or not, but taxi/uber/tram everywhere.

It’s not there yet for a 5 star status. The hotel staff does not seem very warm and interested to be working there. The facilities are just meh. We stayed at W for 4 nights and that place is just great hospitality and facilities and location. May be SLS can take some inspiration from them. Also SLS is far from the main areas of Barcelona and there is not much to do close by to this Hotel. Overall they really need to step up to be a 5 star house.

Everything about this hotel is outstanding!

Great property, great staff. Bartender in the lobby was a gem. Location is somewhat on the outskirts of town but not extremely far (maybe an 15 minute taxi). Cabs were always right outside. Great trip.

Modern beautifully large space impersonal feeling walking into it. The reception staff was absolutely phenomenal day in and day out with warm, greetings, knowledgeable, suggestions, enjoyable conversations, those persons and the view were the best part of this hotel. My dinner at Café Laura was delicious. The service was excellent. It was disappointing at night as the room began to smell like dirty socks from the factory next-door. The hotel really needs to have an air intake filtration system or aromatherapy natural oils options in each room. The rooms were well appointed, with a steamer and blow dryer. There were no bath robes however slippers were provided Min Barr had a nice selection of snacks and drinks. It wasn’t relaxing out on the balcony at night due to the pulsating techno beat coming from the poolside bar. The pool closes too early 7 PM. There’s no way to enjoy it for the evening due to their lack of having lifeguards available. The spa was not open yet nor was their rooftop pool. This was not made mention on the website. If you like the big vibe of Miami or Vegas, this is the place for you if you’re searching something a little more intimate and in the heart of Barcelona, this is not the site each taxi cost perhaps on an average of €25 a trip to get into the center of Barcelona to do your various sightseeing. Often I wanted to return to my room to take a swim and then go out for the night however, pool closed not an option.

Rooms are lovely, amenities are ok; e.g. the size of the pool is not as large as other hotels, and the amount of seating is quite limited even though there are surely well over 400 suites… food was good, though the menu is VERY limited compared to the drink options. Room Housekeeping was kind and efficient. Staff was alright - check-in was extremely disappointing as we even arrived after check-in time 3pm and the room was not ready until after 5:30pm. Check-out was smooth and quick, and we got help with extra charges/hidden fees fast. Hoping to come back very soon!

Very good breakfast

This is a brand new property so not very well known but it’s beautiful, clean and the employees are fantastic! It is a little away from where everything is at but if you want to be close to the beaches this is a good place.

Clean comfortable roon, excellent staff, breakfast was great. My neighbors were very noisy and kept me up all night so they switched my room. The surrounding area is still under development so a lot of unfinished construction. I had business at the convention center and it was very convenient

It was amazing but their service wasnt the best. We went to the hotel because we saw on tiktok that they’re famous for their pink sunbeds and everyday for two weeks we try to sit at those they dont allow us even though theyvare available and empty. Also, when they clean they take the bathrobes and never bring them back. Ear cottons and bathroom ameneties they dont bring them after the first time unless we keep calling them to do so.

Love the room and the view it’s amazing

Staff is super helpful. Hotel is gorgeous. pool and gym are great. located next to a beach and a tram station. Highly recommend it. Food was excellent and fairly priced.

solo trip for RnR. hotel staff were absolutely lovely and accommodating, only negative is i booked the hotel to make use if the spa only to arrive and find out its not actually up and running and will onlybbe so in a few months.

AC not working in room. Elevator not working ever. Front door to hotel also jammed. This hotel is still not up and running properly, area is right next to an industrial area which is not ideal. I regret this hotel and wish we booked more central Barcelona. It’s way more beautiful there. Don’t be scammed by SLS brand and service because they don’t have it retained here.

This place is awesome, don't believe everything you read. I stayed there a week and had an amazing experience. Yes you may have to take a cab to get around because its not in town and that costs about $13 per trip but its still worth it to stay there. The hotel it self is a destination. Room was outstanding. I can't say enough about this hotel. The rooftop wasn't open yet but everything else was accessible and immaculate. Recommend 100%

Location and wonderful service from all staff!

Property is going to be very nice when it is complete. Rooms are nice but could hear drills and saws during work hours. We were not aware of the amount of construction still going on Fantastic staff

half of the amenities weren’t open when we went . i had book the rooms through expedia and they were prepaid and they still charge my card without telling me . i find out when i looked at my card statement. i reached out to expedia for this matter. when expedia called them why i was charged the reason they gave was they couldn’t find my booking but when i was checking in not once they told me that they couldn’t find my expedia booking . as such a big hotel. when i checked they just said they needed a card for accidental charges.

The hotel is new and clean. However, they are still in the learning curve. The hotel need time to have efficient check in and check out process. My room was not ready on time. The house keeping process also needs to be improved. The hotel assigns one quality control employee to check the housekeeping work which is not efficient. The minibar was not filled in the 2nd day of my stay. The lobby and the reception are always busy. One major item, the hotel is next to sewage plant.

Fairly nice too far work anyway

This is a brand new luxury property. They are still working out a few things now that operations are in full swing, but nothing that took away from my experience. The location is a little out of the way in an area that is being reinvigorated by new/re-developments. But what motivated me to write a review and what really sets this property aside is the friendliness of the staff. Every single employee has a real service orientation and displayed genuine interest in making our stay special but without being pushy or over the top. Based on the staff alone I would consider SLS again for my next visit to BCN.

The hotel is very modern and has a lot of chic style

Integration of digital controls for lighting excellent. Having the curtains open when you enter the room the first time is genius. A wow moment. Decor excellent. Could use more room …enough for 2 Chairs. Brighter light in the vanity would be nice as well.

We absolutely loved our stay at SLS Barcelona! After experiencing both the Sofitel Barcelona and a resort in Ibiza on this trip, SLS stood out as our top choice. The atmosphere, amenities, and service exceeded our expectations, making it the highlight of our travels. We highly recommend SLS Barcelona and look forward to returning on our next visit to Europe

Lovely hotel, with welcoming staff, hope to go back when the hotel is fully complete to make the most of all of the facilities the hotel will soon offer.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel—everything from the luxurious amenities to the stunning, modern design exceeded my expectations. The room and interior spaces were absolutely beautiful, thoughtfully designed, and immaculately maintained. All of the staff were attentive, professional, and treated me with genuine warmth and respect. Room service staff, in particular, were excellent, and the food was top-notch across the board. While the breakfast service was a bit hit or miss at times, the quality of the food itself was consistently excellent. A few suggestions for improvement: consider upgrading the in-room phones to allow direct room service calls, expanding the room service menu, and offering access to additional streaming platforms beyond YouTube. Also, better outreach or advertising with local taxi services could help make it more known that the hotel is open and operating. Overall, a fantastic experience—I look forward to staying again!

the best hotel in Barca

It was an amazing stay! Great guest agent experience, loved the location on beach, end to end luxe services! Brand new hotel, upgraded to pool view, and DJ was fire in Deluxe lounge where you can enjoy comfort foods, nice ambience, and a unique cocktail.

A lovely hotel with very friendly staff. Unfortunately takes 15mins in a taxi to town centre 20 euros each way. Breakfast was a bit hit and miss and staff would forget to bring ordered drinks and food. A new hotel so I’m sure they will get better. Distance to centre is inconvenient and being right next to a power station was off putting. Although on a map it shows next to the coast there is no beach,only a small marina.

Beautiful brand new hotel with excellent facilities and polite and friendly staff throughout. Good size rooms with matching good facilities. Excellent breakfast and Fresc restaurant where I had excellent service and high quality dinner. Two negative experiences my first night was sleepless because of a very traffic noisy room (facing busy fast motorways) but I received apology and a really quiet room when I complained. Also I was asked to pay €100 a night as deposit so if your stay was for few nights you have to pay upfront a lot of euros in addition to your charge for the whole stay before you even see your room !. Overall the experience (except my first night) was otherwise excellent. Would be interesting to see if this hotel would stand its ground in the competition with similar 5* contenders. Wish it very good luck.
