All rooms at the property have exceptional views, are clean and very comfortable. The hosts, Charlie and Cindy were very helpful and guided our group to a great dinner spot nearby. Breakfast was great.

Cindy and Charlie are amazing! Super friendly and helpful, very easygoing and they did their best to make our vacation and stay comfortable. We can only recommend this place with all of our hearts. Sadly we did not try their breakfast, but it's on this list for next time! We will come back for sure!!!

I liked everything about 18 on Kloof,it was far above what I expected. The facility has everything you might need and Cindy was very welcoming and made sure my stay was pleasant. I am looking forward to visiting this facility again.

If you have heavy luggage, there are a few stairs. But the hosts were very helpful and helped carrying our suitcases!

The host and hostess are the most amazing people. I felt welcome the minute Cindy met me at the front door. The venue is absolutely beautiful, warm and hospitality amazing. Location is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast was out of this world. It was truly a privilege to be able to stay in this beautiful home. I will definitely refer this B&B to all my family and friends.

Guesthouse is settled in beautiful place with stunning view on False Bay. Breakfasts are tasty and big. Rooms are good equipped with very comfortable beds. Cindy and Charlie are the nicest hosts you can meet.

The hosts Cindy and Charles really make you feel at home with their friendly greetings and chat each day.

The hostess was absolutely phenomenal. We felt extremely welcomed and at home. The breakfast far superseded our expectations - it was delicious and they went through great lengths to accommodate our vegetarian preferences. The location is within walking distance to the beach and main beach road in Gordon’s Bay. Would highly recommend.

Die Gastgeber sind absolut liebevoll und herzlich. Das Guesthouse hat einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bucht. Das Frühstück ist toll, an alles wird gedacht. Wir können das Guesthouse sehr empfehlen und kommen sehr gern wieder beim nächsten Mal.

Our host, Cindy, was exceptionally down-to-earth and welcoming — friendly, engaging, and genuinely interested in making our stay comfortable. I truly appreciated how she handled my special request with such care and ensured everything was done perfectly. It has been a long time since I’ve experienced such peaceful rest — but at 18 on Kloof, I finally had the chance to sleep deeply and wake up worry-free. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment and are already planning to return for a longer stay. Thank you, Cindy, for your excellent communication and warm hospitality — it truly made our stay memorable.

Très bien situé: en descendant des escaliers, on arrive sur la plage et il y a des restaurant à 5 minutes. Possibilité de se garer en toute sécurité.

I didn't have breakfast due to my early start of my days, i would just have coffee in the mornings before i leave. The overall experience was amazing, breathtaking and very relaxing for me. Cindy and Charles were great, they made sure i am comfortable, they waited for me, even after arriving just before midnight... that was what i call an extra ordinary service from them.

There was nothing in particular that i would be worth mentioning.

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Gastgeber Cindy und Charles: zwei unglaublich herzliche, freundliche und kommunikative Menschen, die ihren Gästen das Gefühl geben, wirklich willkommen zu sein. Man merkt sofort, dass sie ihre Arbeit mit viel Freude und Leidenschaft machen. Das Frühstück war jeden Morgen ein Highlight – frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und mit einem herrlichen Blick aufs Meer serviert. Das Appartement selbst war sehr sauber, gepflegt und bestens ausgestattet – man hat alles, was man braucht, um sich rundum wohlzufühlen. I haven’t stayed at many guest houses, but this is by far the best. They were so welcoming and lovely and provided the nicest breakfast to us. I wasn’t feeling well, so they made me an amazing one that they brought to my room, while my husband enjoyed the downstairs. The views are spectacular and the room we stayed in was so cool. Not only great view, but amazing bathroom and tub with all the best amenities you would ever need, tea, coffee, microwave, fridge. We booked last minute and they gave us such a lovely room. We only wish we weren’t flying out the next day or we would have stayed much longer. It will be a staple in our trips to visit family in Cape Town. And the walk to the beach was great. A bit of exercise coming back up that we needed. And what a lovely clean beach! The Thank you for an amazing stay! What an absolute gem!

I had a lovely stay at 18 on Kloof Guest House in Gordon’s Bay! The place was clean, comfortable, and had great facilities, everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The location is perfect, with beautiful views and easy access to the beach and nearby spots. A special shoutout to Cindy; she was an absolute gem and a highlight of my visit. So warm and welcoming! I’ll definitely be back in Summer :)

Midweek break, my 2nd time booking this room with the stunning view over the bay, very comfy bed and really good breakfast prepared by Charles with great conversation!
