The loud music the one night was very disappointing but I can’t blame the hosts for that and they quickly dealt with it.

Reviewed Sep 7, 2025The view is absolutely incredible!!! The sunrise over the ocean was the highlight of our trip! The place was so clean and smelled incredible 😍 Great quality bedding, and absolutely everything you might need. Easy check-in is always a bonus and they were so accommodating with our arrival times. Absolutely LOVED our stay! Also, being so close to shops and restaurants was an absolute treat.

Very conveniently located in the same centre as a large Spar, laundromat, take-aways and other stops. Secure parking. The staff handling the booking were very helpful and responsive. Checking in was very simple and we were given clear instructions.
The two smaller bedrooms face out onto the internal corridor and were quite noisy, especially as the neighbors two doors down were having a party until the early hours. A bright light from the corridor also shone into the room all night. For this reason, I wouldn’t recommend this apartment for families with small children.

Reviewed Feb 1, 2025The location was nice, It had a supermarket as well as Laundromat and many Bars/Hotels in the vicinity itself that was quite helpful. Parking is available on site. Hosts were helpful and receptive to our demands. Property has all the cutlery in the Kitchenette as well as Oven and Gas.
The rooms lacked airconditioning and there was not enough ventilation. Hosts had provided one fan and on request they provided 2 additional fans. Some bedrooms were quite small with no wardrobes. Only 2 toilets were there in the 3 bedroom apartment.

The app shows that there are 3 bathrooms but when we arrived we found the unit has two bathrooms. Two bedrooms have a small narrow window above the headboard which face the indoor passageway outside of the unit and there is no natural light in these rooms and no ventilation. Bathrooms have poor ventilation and shower doors not clean/maintained.

No cleaning service on Saturday. We got there on Friday. Used the same sheets until Monday. Water was cold. We needed to clean the place ourselves and who wants to go on holiday and still make own bed, wash dishes, clean the floor, take out trash etc.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2024The property was stunning very well decorated and situated in a great spot with beautiful sea views. A bit of a drive to the beach!
Was disappointed that the unit was not serviced or at least a towel change done over the period of our stay and for the price paid. There wasn't even a mop, cleaning cloths etc in order for us to even clean the unit ourselves. Would also be useful to have a washing machine and clothes drying rack as well as a dishwasher!

Reviewed Dec 25, 2023Location of the apartment was misleading. Entrance via underground carpark and overlooking a carpark that was quite noisy in the mornings. Lack of AC meant the apartment was warm to sleep in. Water geyser went the first evening we were there and not fixed fully until lunchtime fully the following day. When we noted our dissatisfaction with not being able to have showers in the morning to the host, he noted that it was a miscommunication with his maintenance man.

Reviewed Nov 24, 2023The supermarket can we reached by foot and the interieur is modern. We actually left the apartment and i texted the owner about our worries and he answered really nice. So no complains about that
About our worries (and to make sure: it is overall a nice apprtment): The loation can only be reached from a public garage that was actually a bit scary for us. Also during load sheading so it was dark. Especially because we arrived in the evening. And the bathroom showers were not cleaned or not well enough. Also the big nice windows to the sea have not seen a cleaning in a long time.

Reviewed Nov 3, 2023Absolutely everything, secure parking, felt safe to leave the rental car there, super easy to get the keys from the lock box so that meant that as soon as you arrived you did not waste anytime you were able to walk straight in and make yourself at home. The apartment was very clean, furnished beautifully, was great that there was a supermarket and cafe underneath in walking distance. It was a very relaxing and tranquil stay, and everything was better than the photos and description provided. The beds were very comfy, and we enjoyed a BBQ that night on the balcony to watch the sunset. Also, the host was very communicative and efficient with instructions, and you were never left waiting for a response. Wish we had stayed for longer! Highly recommend.
There was not a washing machine or dryer which would have been handy but that is the only thing that would have made the stay better, but I think there was a laundromat in the shops below.

Reviewed Jul 8, 2023Raymond was an amazing and patient host. At the late hour we arrived in Mossel Bay, he patiently gave directions, and even came to fetch us when we got lost. The apartment was clean, neat, with great facilities, welcoming, and with an amazing view. The pictures don't do this gem justice. Will visit and recommend again.
