The owner was incredibly kind and helpful. He made our stay a 10/10. The rooms were super clean and spacious, with a beautiful view of the tea fields and calm surroundings. Perfect for a bigger family or even just 2 people. Loved it!

There wasn‘t much going on around the property, which is no problem tho! The host helps you get around!

Le hôte très disponible, il nous a déposé et recuperé dans un parc et dans le restaurant. L'établissement au milieu des plantations des thé. La chambre tres spacieuse!

Assez cher pour Taiwan, mais le hôte nous a proposé de nous deposé au restaurant. Attention, assez loin à pied pour faire les courses.

位置很好，阿里山公路右轉一小段就到了，，離附近餐廳和步道都很近。我們住一樓，停車方便，外面有一大塊庭院，可以讓小朋友玩球跑來跑去。 老闆人很好，很好聊天。下次還會過去住。

唯一一個小問題是浴巾，可能太新了，會掉毛屑，可以跟老闆說，他們會改善。

The location is quite central. The room was large and spacious. Ok walking distance from the bus station, and nearby very nice restaurants and tea shops. The owner was very helpful (drove us to a hiking spot and arranged a taxi on the last night when we came back late from Alishan).

I normally don't like writing bad reviews and the owner was very helpful (mentioned above). However, I initially spent more money to go to a Homestay, to get a bit closer to the tea culture, however it didn't feel like we got any of the tea culture from the homestay itself (but from the nearby tea shops). Also, the room we got had no view of the beautiful surroundings, and there really was no place to chill at the homestay to have a good view. For such a premium location, the homestay disappointed us by not really giving us what we wanted.

Krásný stylově zařízený pokoj v patře je velmi prostorný, má šatnu a výhled na čajové zahrady. Přivítá vás čaj domácí produkce. Majitel je velice laskavý člověk, odvezl nás do vesnice na autobus i jídlo, udělal nám čajovou degustaci a byl ve všem nápomocen. Moc děkujeme! Vstupní hala voní sušícím se čajem.

隔音不是太好，一樓的房間窗外是隔壁的洗衣區，會聽到說話聲。夜晚的時候開燈是透得進房間的，覺得應該要換全遮光窗簾，睡眠敏感的人要考慮考慮。

De gastheer is een echte eindbaas. In de omgeving is het best gevaarlijk om langs de weg te lopen naar de andere dorpen dus brengt hij je graag met de auto. Hij heeft ons een aantal keer naar Shizhao gebracht en zelfs naar de Eryanping Trail. Met een beetje geluk kun je op zaterdag avond een drankje mee drinken.

absolutely loved the scenic view of the mountains from our room and the host was super lovely and kind as well! he offered to fetch us from a place 10mins drive away as we could not catch the bus and even went above and beyond to bring us to watch fireflies at night, which we appreciated alot. the room was spacious and clean as well, beds were comfortable too.

we didnt drive a car so we had to rely on the public bus to get to places like alishan and the nearby towns since the accommodation is not in any of the famous destinations. but it works as long as you plan your schedules carefully or drive a car.

Owner was very nice and responsive upfront via booking.com messages. He gave us some tips on how to get to the top of Alishan and was driving us to dinner locations nearby. Overall the place is very simple but very relaxing. The rooms are big, there is water and a fridge in the common area. Beds were comfy. We asked to taste the tea and got a nice ceremony from him. He is using his phone to translate Chinese to English, which worked great.

Keep in mind that the farm is not in the middle of the village so you either need to take a taxi to move around or ask the owner. There is a bus stop very close which you can use to go down to Chiayi.

施設が、というより石棹から宿まで歩く道が20分弱かかるが、歩くスペースが細くカーブがあるため、霧が出ると少し危ないです。 食事は石棹で取らないとならないため車がない旅行者は事前に食事を用意した方がいいかもしれません。

Grosses Zimmer, sogar mit Heizung

Fenster nur auf einen Zwischenraum zwischen 2 Häusern. Dort standen Waschmaschine und Trockner, beides sehr laut. Wurde 1x bis 2 Uhr nachts benutzt. Pris- Leistung passt nicht TV

Amazing location - right next to the stop to Alishan buses + amazing sunrise view of tea plantations. The owner is very nice and kind. The facilities in the room are all clean and well kept.

Wygodny duży pokój ze wszystkimi potrzebnymi udostępnieniami. Gospodarz niesamowicie pomocny, doradzał gdzie się wybrać, pomagał zorganizować transport, a nawet sam podwoził. Plus poczęstował pyszną herbatą własnej produkcji!

If you are expecting a charming local guest house with rooms that overlook a tea plantation…this is not that. In fact, unless you will literally walk out the door and across the street from this cold, industrial building, you might not even know that you are in close proximity to tea fields. Likewise, while I’m sure the man who owns this place has good intentions, he did not come across as especially friendly or eager during my stay. I almost feel insane as I read through other people’s reviews of this place. It makes me wonder if they didn’t change ownership and replace their entire staff. Still, as it currently stands, my recommendation would be to find another place to stay. There are literally dozens of others in this area; I deeply regret that I did not select one of them instead.

Host was very friendly and able to help shuttle us into town as needed for transportation and meals. He let us walk around the tee farms which was very scenic and serene with views. The tea was good as well. The room was comfy and spacious. There is a friendly cat on site in the lobby.

You are reliant on the bus or the host driving you to go places. It's a 15 minute walk into Shizhuo, which isn't bad but is a lot with luggage. 5 minute bus ride to Shizhuo and trails, 15 minutes to Fenqihu, 45 minutes to Alishan. A small handful of buses pass through

Owner picked us up from the bus stop and drove us everywhere we needed to go including to breakfast and dinner spots. Lovely views from tea fields behind the bnb.

Not walkable to restaurants, etc. if the owner wasn’t so nice (he drove us everywhere) we would have needed a car to get around.

Hote extraordinaire, je conseil vivement ce logement

The property is located overlooking a beautiful scenery of a tea farm. A few doors down, they dry and make the tea and you can sometimes smell the fresh aroma of the teas. The owner of the property was very kind and offered to drive us around which was much needed since the property is located a bit far from things. We had a tea tasting with the owner and he drove us to the Yuyupas cultural center, the 7/11 near by, and to watch fireflies at night. The owner has excellent hospitality.

The property is a bit out of the way from restaurants, convenient stores, and the bus stop to take you to Alishan. However, if you let the owner know a head of time, he can drive you to nearby locations.

The vancinity around Shizhao has become my favorite part of Taiwan. Strategically its a great pivot points between Alishan and Fengqihu (separate day trips), and personally, Shizhao has became the better experience within its own right. Our host Mr. Xue drove us to see fireflies nearby at night. He also drove us to nearby attractions to make the most of our day. He was also so kind to explain tea harvesting and brewing process while we enjoyed the tea he brewed. Our room was huge, equipped with its own tea set. Waking up and starting each day amongst a tea field is a real treat and the aroma of tea permeates though the town. There are great looped trails nearby transecting through multiple tea farms and bamboo forests, look for the Shizhao trail systems, some of my favorite includes the mist, cloud, and sunset trail.

Accommodations around Shizhao is a bit scattered, understandly spaced out by the farms. Great for serenity, some walking along the side of a highway without sidewalk is needed if you're restless like me. The road is not too busy but it is narrow and curvy. If that's not your cup of tea, use the bus, it comes every half to an hour, there's a bus stop right outside of this home stay. I couldn't figure out the air conditioner in my room to work but the cool mountain misty air didn't really need it.

Location in the mountains lovely, beutiful views from exterior of building .Short walk or drive to small town facilities. Room decent and reasonable size. Interesting to be on a tea farm.

Heating only a plug in heater and nothing in Bathroom. Windows didn't face out to anything except building immediately outside. Had a semi industrial feel to the place because of all the machinery and equipment in the entrance area.

The hotel owner was super friendly. Our room happened to get double booked, so he freely upgraded us. Later he invited us to drink tea with him, and it was incredibly delicious. Highly recommended.

The host was incredible and definitely made the stay worth it! We found ourselves stranded at Alishan and he came to pick us up personally. We had encountered a fellow solo traveler who had been stranded in Alishan without a place to stay and he came to the rescue and offered her a place to stay, as well. He offered to stop to let us buy something for dinner, and showed us where to watch the sunrise and catch the bus the next morning. The facilities were nice and clean with a lot of amenities. Would definitely recommend this place!

The host is very nice! He shared his tea with us and drive us to 7/11 to get dinner, because there are not close options. We watched the sunrise from the tea farm instead of going to alishan for sunrise. It was a good experience!

It was a really lovely place to stay. We arrived quite late by scooter, and we were allowed to check in later. The man who greeted us was very kind, and he allowed us to store our bags in the lobby as we went to see the Alishan sunset the following morning. Great room with a nice warm heater. We were very pleased with our stay! Couldn't recommend it more. Also, nice views as the tea farms and good location.
