Beautiful property outside of the town but close enough should you need something. The host Aiden was great and helpful.
Nothing.
The location was lovely. It felt remote and removed from the city but just a quick drive away. I loved the farm animals that lived in the area.
We loved our time at Tigh Johnny Mor. The rooms were an old stables which were beautifully renovated with everything you need for a few days. Kitchen facilities, including a fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine & kettle were all supplied & we enjoyed making our own breakfasts and looking out over the gorgeous few. The room was warm and cosy and very spacious. Just a short drive from town so nice and quiet. We'd definitely like to come back.
We liked everything. I guess the addition of a washer/dryer would make it perfect.
It was beautiful and secluded. Great view and quiet.
The narrow roads.
Sehr viele Fliegen vor der Türe. Man konnte gar nicht schnell genug zur Tür rein um sie auszusperren.
Did not get breakfast, self catering. Location amazing probably one of the nicest places we've ever stayed
Got hot at night
Everything, it was lovely and get find!
Quiet location in the country. Only minutes from town. Good facilities.
Musty smell in bathroom needs attention. No air-conditioning, not even a fan
Zeer mooie omgeving! Mooie inrichting.
Fabulous place. Bedroom spacious and well decorated. As described in the photos. Staff friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place and would stay there again if in the area.
Nothing.
Stunning property in beautiful Galway countryside! 🍀 Maeve and Molly were a delight! 💗💗
Beautiful location.
Outside lights left on all night which lit up the night like day. Very difficult to sleep with light coming in the room.
Donkeys in the field opposite
Totally mid-sold as this was not a standalone property but one of four side by side properties. This is not as was described when booking. General presentation was poor. There are bare ceiling joists and roof decking, not at all sound-proof as neighbours can be heard quite clearly. Small TV difficult to see and certainly inadequate for the size of the room. Small bed with low quality bedding. No bedside cabinets so we had to improvise by using 2 chairs. Furniture was poor throughout and watch out for the trip hazard, ie the rug in front of the sofa.
Lovely comfortable cottage, very quiet and lovely views. The hosts were available by text and very pleasant.
Brand new, beautifully decorated, very clean.
Great host and great accommodation. Wish we could have stayed longer!
This was the perfect spot for a 1-night stay. The room was comfortable and quaint, with plenty of space for our luggage and to relax. The location was very picturesque as well.
I wish there was a screen on the door or window so we could have it open during the evening. We could have had the door open but there were a lot of bugs outside.
Beautiful stables transformation. The area was extremely quiet and peaceful with amazing views of Lough Corrib.
The microwave was placed in a dangerous position and the bed was a little small. Some shelving in the bathroom would be beneficial.
Room was clean. Loved the donkey. Loved the view
A welcome pack with instructions on how to use the tv would have been great. We spent over an hour working out how to use the tv and then the guest from next to us came over and asked how to use it. TV was very small for the size of the room. No side tables for bed. A queen bed would have fitted the room well. Fire alarm was covered??
Having a donkey right putside was lovely plus lots of different birds. The place was clean and functional. Very modern. Lovely scenery. Not too far from centre of Galway. Galway is a busy, vibrant city. Great place to sit outside a cafe and people watch.
Had a broken ankle so was seeing the property through the eyes of someone who is temporarily disabled….so comments based on that. There was a slight slope to the property and it had a gravel path which made it quite challenging to navigate, so anyone with mobility issues may have difficulties.
Peaceful, relaxed country experience but only five mins from Galway
Tigh Johnny Mor exceeded all our expectations. The holiday home is done to an excellent spec, was spotless and a great size. It also came with a comfy sofa and bed and has a great en-suite. The views from the accommodation were stunning and the grounds even had cows and a lovely donkey to welcome us. Aidan and Ciara were fantastic hosts and communicated with us throughout our stay, offering brilliant tips and recommendations for our trip to Galway. 10/10 would stay again!

A very comfortable cottage with all amenities included. Fabulous location and wonderful views from the cottage. Our host was very attentive and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.
Nice location, very nice accommodation.

Great private location! Very clean.
Peaceful location with excellent view Very clean and everything fresh and new
It was an excellent Airbnb but to improve particularly if staying more than a couple of nights a chest of drawers and also bedside cabinets. A toaster would be welcome.
The quite environment, the friendly dog and donkey as both did the meet and greet part of the hospitality. please don't forget to look for the rabbits and foxes. J&O
Nothing that we dislike
Spacious and comfortable accommodation. An outstanding environment for meditation and mind resetting. Highly recommended 👌
Nothing to mention
Incredible location, just out from Galway and perfect for some peace and quiet! Beautiful setting and perfect for a couple. Aidan and Ciara were super helpful too. We will be back!
The owners were extremely helpful in helping us plan a surprise engagement for my daughter at this property. Her finance was looking for somewhere private and quiet and this ticked all the boxes .
Nothing
Service was second to none. Ordered a taxi for us into the city, got my girlfriend a balloon for her birthday. The hosts were also available asap on the other end of the phone if there was any questions. Finish to the property was spot on and to very high standards. Location was picturesque Just perfect getaway for couples.
Everything, the location, proximity to Galway city, views, the donkey and the ram!
Nothing I loved it all.
