Reviewed Aug 27, 2026The staff were very kind, friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The property was kept very clean, including the bathrooms and sleeping areas. The bed was comfortable, and I also really enjoyed the traditional atmosphere and character of this beautiful historic building.
The property can be a little difficult to find, especially when approaching from Bab Okla. Google Maps is not 100% accurate through the narrow streets, and at night this route can feel uncomfortable if you don't know the Medina well. I would strongly recommend accessing the property from the Royal Palace side instead. Also, the beds may be a little short for taller guests — if you're over around 1.82 m, your feet might disagree! 😄

Lo mejor es el personal, súper atento (incluso me dejaron hacer mi café, ¡un detallazo!). Me encantaron los espacios comunes y el ambiente con música por las noches. Además, la ducha estaba muy caliente, algo que se agradece mucho. Un sitio acogedor y auténtico en Tetuán. ¡Totalmente recomendado!

Reviewed Nov 15, 2025La atención deja mucho qué desear. Yo preginté si el desayuno estaba incluido en el ptecio que pagué y me dijeton que sí y que era a las 9:30. Yo me quedé en el hostal hasta las 10:15 esperando y ni hubo desayuno ni nadie que me diera razón. Finalmente me fui sin desayunar y sin ver a ningún personal del hostal despierto a esa hora. De haber sabido que no habría desayuno me habría ido 2 horas antes. La segunda noche me cambié al Riad Four Season, pagué casi lo mismo, incluyó el desayuno y la experiencia, atención e instalaciones estuvieron mucho mejor

Un endroit qui attire les gens gentils qui se retrouvent sur la terrasse chaque soir pour discuter, boire des thés, et faire de la musique. Chaque membre du personnel est d'une gentillesse sans pareil. Dédicace spéciale à Redouane, number one dans notre cœur. Un être humain plein de bonne vibe, au grand cœur, qui sait mettre le feu sur le dancefloor. Nous nous souviendrons de notre séjour, et savons où dormir si nous retournons à tetouane!

Las camas estaban un poco duras pero nada del otro mundo y había obras, por lo que en el descanso de después de comer había mucho ruido y no se podía dormir.

كان الموقع في المدينة القديمة مما يكون بعض الضوضاء خصوصا في الليل، كما أن النوافد شبه منعدمة بالنسبة لغرف النوم مما ينتج عنه عدم دخول الشمس للغرف

It’s the worst experience ever after I booked they said it’s unavailable and they did not apologize after discussion they said they can triple the price and I stay in shared room I refused of course they refused to refund me also their hotel in a place that very puzzled the attitude of the lady there is horrible and also the manager was kind of unhelpful and try to make me pay more for a room of 3 people unkind people worse service worse management and rude to Moroccan immigrants I have no photos to share cuz they said it’s unavailable I don’t understand why they poste it in booking as available

Just be careful of his nails, he scratched me a few times. 😻The location is in the Medina very close to the market, and most points of interest in Tetouan are within walking distance. 😻The hostel is in an old house with a patio and a well. There is also a rooftop with excellent views and a place to hang laundry. There are sitting corners on every floor. 😻The staff is very friendly and helpful. Adnan even went with me to help me buy honey which is a bit tricky to find in the Medina! 😻They have laundry service for an extra fee. If you give it in the morning it's ready for the same day. 😻The kitchen is well equipped. The only thing missing is a microwave, The use of the kitchen is also for an extra fee. 😻The Wi-Fi is good, and there are many tables for working on the computer. 😻There's a cleaning lady every day and the place is clean. 😻There are nice paintings all around the hostel.
😾They had Hitler's "Mein Kampf" on the bookshelf. After I complained they removed it and I never saw it again. 😾The dorm has no lockers, and the door can't be locked. While nothing was stolen, it feels a bit unsafe. 😾The dorm and the bathroom could use some paint. Though they started painting the tea room just before I left. 😾The day I arrived they had a physical fight about my early check-in.

This is not a good Riad. All the houses are full of dew, and the staff treat people like money, not guests. They told me that if I wanted air conditioning, I had to pay for it, even though I had booked a room with everything in advance. When I arrived, I was surprised to find many things different from the pictures. The staff there are unable to spare time and effort for their customers. The rooms are not suitable for sleeping, full of dew, which is harmful to your health. Even if they offer me a free night there again, I won't accept

The dorm. The bed shakes so much everytime when I moved. The room barely revived the signal (both cellular data and WiFi). The bathroom is not really clean. It’s cold at night and no blanket just a very thin sheet.

We did an early check-in and we found the beds already ready, it was good for us after a long trip. Also always someone to answer us or to give good advices when needed (in the riad or by message). Reviewed Mar 31, 2025I arrived at the building, it was so beautiful. The people where super friendly. A lot of locals come to the place just to hang out because the owner is so chill. They invited me to have dinner with them and breakfast (iftar). I felt most welcome there is always someone up for a chat and they are super open minded! Great for solo traveling or getting to know the culture

Reviewed Mar 28, 2025Againv3rd time at this amazing hostel. Cant big them up enough (see previous reviews) but this time on my return, they've required a guitar to just but the icing on the cake. 11/10 from me and a must when visiting Tétouan
