The location is absolutely amazing and the villas being right by the beach made the stay feel very special. The rooms were beautiful and well presented and overall they were relatively clean. The snorkelling was incredible and the house reef is truly beautiful, with so much marine life to see just steps from the beach. The beach, pool and overall facilities were exceptional, everything was very well maintained, clean and peaceful, and there were plenty of activities available. The food was also great, especially the breakfast, which had a great variety and quality. But what really made the experience stand out was the staff; everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming and attentive throughout the stay.

The rooms were generally clean, though occasionally the floors and some surfaces felt a little dirty and dusty. This may simply be due to how many villas the housekeeping team manages and with a little more time per room it would likely be perfect. One aspect of the premium ocean front villas that could be improved is that they have an internal connecting door with the neighbouring villa. Because of this, noise from next door could be heard frequently, which slightly reduced the sense of privacy.

The island and the property are great, nice new and clean rooms. The quality of food in the restaurants is good, same as the variety that is offered (if you get access to it, see below). The house reef is amazing and walking around the island is really relaxing.

In the beginning, the staff seemed very forward thinking and as they were on top of organizational details. Weeks before arrival, they said they would check with our prior hotel to ensure the transfer from the old hotel to Avani works well. The day before, they still could not confirm the transfer times and we ended up spending 5h in the transfer lounge even though there would have been an earlier flight but they did not book us on that one, that was a bit annoying. We then arrive and our host tells us during the welcome he booked all the dinner experiences for us, turns out beside the buffet restaurant everything is booked and only with several asks we could have one single reservation at one of the other restaurants. The diving school had communication issues with the host (who manages communication with the guests) and I missed my last slot to dive before flying, again an inconvenience considering diving was one of our main priorities and reasons for booking this resort. Overall, it feels like you very much have to chance the hotel team to get good service which is out of balance for the price.

Moderne Zimmer, direkte Strandlage, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, die ganze Anlage ist neu und gepflegt. Anreise und Abreise vom Flughafen Male mit Wasserflugzeug sehr gut organisiert.

Die Anlage ist mit 180 Zimmern sehr groß, bei Vollbelegung ist das Hauptrestaurant Ocean auf Buffetbasis dann überfüllt, besser auf die Restaurants Charcoal und Skipjack ausweichen. Im Charcoal konnte man auch schön a la carte frühstücken. Unbedingt Halbpension buchen, da die Restaurantpreise relativ hoch sind.

Our stay at Avani+ Fares Maldives Resort was absolutely unforgettable. We have visited other resorts in the Maldives before, so we do have a basis for comparison — and the quality here truly stood out. The island itself is quite new, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s not a huge island, but for us it was absolutely perfect. It offers the ideal balance: peaceful relaxation combined with excellent programs and activities. One of the most impressive aspects was the incredible marine life. The house reef is amazing, and you don’t even have to go far from the shore to see stunning underwater wildlife. We saw turtles, swam with manta rays, and even spotted dolphins. A special highlight was the big game fishing trip. We caught red tuna, which was later prepared for us at the restaurant — and it was amazing! During the excursion, we were also served a high-quality breakfast and coffee, and the entire team was incredibly helpful and professional. The food throughout our stay was consistently good, beautifully presented, and delicious every single time. The cocktails were also fantastic — I even had a Pisco Sour, which is my favorite, and it was perfectly made. We would especially like to thank Aanim, our host during the vacation. He made our stay truly exceptional. He was attentive, kind, and always one step ahead in anticipating our needs. Thanks to him, everything was seamless. We highly recommend Avani+ Fares Maldives to anyone looking for a high-quality Maldivian experience with stunning nature, great design, outstanding food, amazing cocktails, and exceptional service. The hotel was exceptionally clean, with very attentive and professional housekeeping staff. The water villas were spacious, modern, and felt brand new. The food was excellent, with great variety and high quality.

The host service was very poor. We were initially assigned a host, but she informed us that she was leaving and that we would get a new one. We only met the new host for the first time the day before we were leaving, which made the service feel useless and unhelpful. The golf cart/buggy service was very unreliable. We often had to wait a long time, sometimes up to 30 minutes later than scheduled. Many drivers were using their phones while driving, which felt unsafe. There was also a lot of traffic and noise when buggies passed by the water bungalows, even late in the evening and at night, which was disturbing. The buffet restaurant was very small, and we had to reserve a table every single day in order to eat there, which was inconvenient.

Рестораны а-ля карт отстой, если они у вас включены в тур, меняйте на шведский стол в ocean teracca. Трансфер из аэропорта почему то 600 $ с человека туда-обратно, намного дороже чем у других. Если собираетесь выпивать, берите все включено, не забудьте сигареты. В отеле цены дикие-пачка марльборо 45$, такой наглости еще не видел.

Интересный остров, много зелени. Хорошая и разнообразная кухня. Удобные номера, все с видом на воду. Риф конечно пострадал, но снорклинг вполне достойный. Чтобы маски не потели, берите antifog с собой или купите там, и лицо под маской оставляйте без крема от загара. Батлер - Ваше все, не стесняйтесь ему напоминать, что он на работе!

Сильная пульсация температуры в воды в душе, да еще смесители без термостатов. Отзывчивый и старательный персонал, но регулярно требуют напоминаний!!! В номерах, на столешницах, использован натуральный камень, который не дружит с водой, из-за чего складывается ощущение, что в номере не убрано. Их надо отполировать и покрыть водоотталкивающим составом.

Хотим отметить удобную встречу сотрудником в аэропорту и сопровождение до гидросамолета. Русскоязычный персонал в отеле почти везде. Можно смело спрашивать "говорите ли вы по-русски". Очень разнообразная программа не только в праздничные дни: живая музыка в ресторанах, дискотека, памятные ужины, огненное шоу и т.п. Периодически дарили маленькие подарки: сладости в номер, полотенца, шампанское и т.п. Протяженный домашний риф с разной живностью. На острове можно увидеть цапель, мелких птиц, летучих лисиц, кроликов, ящериц. Работает хороший детский клуб. Планируя приезд учтите, что: понадобятся коралки (под красивой водой на белом песочке много остатков кораллов); рекомендуем брать крем от солнца не ниже 50 фактора; на основном пляже напротив рифа часто ветер и волны, а уровень воды снижается после обеда; лучшие домики для заселения между зоной водных вилл и основным причалом, так как там приватно, безветренно и хороший вход в воду.

Доставили нас в отель без багажа, его привезли только к вечеру. Для того, чтобы баги приехал быстрее, вызывайте его по внутреннему телефону через ресепшен. Рекомендуем размещать программу развлечений дня в доступном и видном для отдыхающих месте, так как ее забывают отправлять в электронном виде.

Beautiful island, well maintained and in line with 5-star standards. The house reef is excellent and snorkeling equipment is provided free of charge. Staff are extremely kind, professional, and always helpful.

The mandatory New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner was imposed with no alternative choice and poor transparency on what was included. We paid USD 400 per adult (drinks excluded) and USD 200 for a two-year-old child, who barely ate anything. This felt coercive and not value for money. Dining options are limited: one buffet not at 5-star level and two à la carte restaurants with very similar menus. With half board, real choices are minimal unless you pay significant extras, and during high season restaurant availability is limited The resort is not very family-friendly: kids’ menu is repetitive and basic dishes are overpriced; activities for children are minimal. There is also poor communication about activities and what is included in the stay. Many activities are extra and very expensive, but this is not clearly explained in advance, and even included or scheduled events are not properly communicated Pool management is weak: sunbeds are often reserved with towels for hours with no control, and there is no lifeguard or supervision. Providing bicycles would greatly improve the experience Overall, a beautiful resort with great staff, but lack of transparency, weak communication, and very high extra costs significantly reduce the value. Budget at least 50% more than the Booking price

The property is new, well organized - different areas for more quiet time and more loud bars. Very good service across different departments, making your holiday a great experience. Great house reef and manta snorkeling trip.

- плохая еда. Сами компоненты еды: были тухлые фрукты. Способ приготовления еды. Кажется, спагетти варить так просто, но нет. - На острове нет ни одного места со вкусной едой. Хотя несколько ресторанов. Для 3-4* терпимо. Но не для 5* - В целом плохой сервис во всех ресторанах. Вино могут принести в конце ужина, хотя заказали в начале. Все очень медленно и непрофессионально - Батлер, функция которого обеспечивать комфорт, записывать на активности, помогать решать мелкие проблемы. Очень медленные ответы в вотсап 4-12 часов. Вроде отель не загружен, не понятно, в чем сложность ответить оперативно. - Все центры активностей работают "расслаблено", будто они тоже отдыхающие - Простоват дизайн номеров

Beautiful island, resort

Corals are very close to the shore, we hurt our legs and skin several times. My friend had birthday, they brought the cake, but had no fire to burn the candle. Rooms walls are very thin, we heard everything that our neighbors were doing. To final bill they forgot to include bill for photos and asked to pay it when we already left. Need a lot of improvement. Not recommend for Bday celebration

Breakfast had a good variety. Ocean Terrace, Smugglers Shack and Pool were very good. Room was comfortable and well presented. Welcome snacks and drink were appreciated. Leisha our island guide was excellent and should be commended for efficient service and advice. The whale shark tour was amazing as was the island reef snorkelling. Transfers to and from Male were efficient and well managed.

I booked a twin room however this was not what was initially provided however Leisha sorted it out. Charcoal restaurant was definitely overrated. The food I had at the other dinner venues was much better than Charcoal. Definitely a waste of money. Needs to be more shade provided at the pool.

Les services ne sont pas à la hauteur d un hôtel 5 étoiles. L’organisation et la logistique laissaient à désirer. À l’arrivée nous avons attendu plus de 2h avant de prendre notre hydravion. Au retour, on nous a contraint de prendre l’hydravion à 15h pour un avion décollant le soir à 22h… on a donc attendu plusieurs heures dans le lounge de l’hôtel certes mais… le lounge ne compense pas la plage dont nous aurions pu profiter pour notre dernier jour aux maldives… De plus, on nous avait pas prévenu sur le fait d être prêt à 14h30 avec nos bagages de sorte que plusieurs personnes se sont présentées à plusieurs reprises pour nous demander de nous dépêcher de faire nos valises … le jour du départ on est donc parties stressées à 15h alors que nous avions notre vol international à 22h… cela ne laisse pas une Bonne image. Par ailleurs on vous vent 30m de spa offerte mais quand vous arrivez, le sauna étant fermé vous ne pouvez profiter du hamman sans aucune autre alternative… un peu limite. Bref, c’est les Maldives donc c’est fabuleux, le personnel fait de son mieux mais visiblement les instructions de la direction sont à revoir en terme de logistique et d organisation compte tenu des services attendus pour un hôtel 5 étoiles.

Room service quality can be improved. Aeroplane is landing and taking off very close to the hotel rooms and specially my room. the noise is very high and repeats several times per day including early morning.

This resort truly exceeded all expectations. From the moment we arrived, everything felt easy, peaceful, and thoughtful. A special thank you to Aliesha, our host—so kind, attentive, and genuinely caring throughout our stay. She made us feel looked after in the best way. One of the highlights was the sweet gesture from the General Manager, who surprised us with a complimentary bike personalized with my son’s name. It was such a thoughtful touch that made him feel so special. The waiters across the island were all incredibly polite and attentive—always smiling, always helpful. And the Kids Club supervisor was an absolute gem—so warm, gentle, and lovely with children. My son felt safe and happy every time he went. Also, a huge thank you to Azim, the photographer, for the most beautiful photoshoot. He captured everything so naturally and made it such an enjoyable experience—we’re obsessed with how the pictures turned out! The resort itself is stunning. The facilities, the vibes, the staff… every single part of the island felt calm, clean, and full of kindness. It’s a place I would come back to again and again.

Few dining options for lunch and dinner. I couldn’t understand if you buy the half board or just pay for your food which one ends up cheaper. I thought half board first but then when asked each restaurant seemed like paying as you go is cheaper so don’t fall for it. All inclusive is even worse I guess

I liked the place being charming and the decent staffs.

The seaplane. Please consider my note seriously; the smell of the gasoline was so intensive to a level, my daughter wasn't able to breath and was about to fall in coma. In my opinion, this is dangerous and a critical issue, as it is difficult for me to repeat such experience and expose my daughter to such risk. We informed the InCharge person who received us in your hotel, and he informed us that he forwarded the message to the seaplane company, but unfortunately during the return the smell was intensive and harming too.

Nice new modern resort, very nice clean island/beach. The staff very friendly and welcoming.

Our villa had a fishy smell I guess from the sewage. If you chose a sun bed that’s not close to the public pool/bar nobody will bring complimentary water and there was no small side table. If you do chose a sun bed by the pool/bar it would have been nice to get a bottle water with a bucket of ice since the weather is so hot the water would get warm pretty quick. Also the staff by the pool/bar are very slow, would take them forever just to bring water and a simple order like iced tea. It would also be nice if the pool was only limited for adults only because it can get loud around that area from all the kids.

It was our fourth time in Maldives in recent years and the resort fulfilled all our expectations in all aspects. Nothing negative, important enough to mention. We stayed at a beach villa.

Pros: • Excellent food — truly a highlight of the stay. • The hotel itself is new, modern, and beautifully designed. • The service in the restaurants was top-notch. • The reef is incredible! If you’re coming for snorkeling, this is the place. We saw turtles four times and manta rays almost daily. There’s even a resident manta ray near the water villas.

Butler service was extremely disappointing. Our butler often replied only after a day or more, and even simple issues took 2–3 days to resolve. We had to constantly follow up ourselves. • The condition of our room was not acceptable for a hotel of this level — the ventilation system was exposed, there were no slippers, and the toilet door was broken. Once closed, it would lock from the inside, trapping the person inside. • Departure management was chaotic. The hotel works with Manta Air, which was a terrible experience. Our seaplane was delayed by 1.5 hours, and the hotel staff simply shrugged and said it wasn’t their responsibility. We ended up missing our connecting flight. Instead of allowing us to stay at the hotel and catch a proper flight the next day, we were just pushed out as if it wasn’t their concern. When we complained, we were told the same thing happened the day before and the day before that — clearly, this is a recurring issue. Why partner with an airline that delays every single day?

High prices for the activities and also they didn’t have many options

Me and my wife had a nice stay at Avani+. Staff arranged our transport to and from the resort by seaplane and everything was smooth. The island is beautiful and the ocean amazing, you can see a lot of marine life just in the resort. Accomodation was great, cleaned twice a day with a friendly and helpful staff. We weren't bored, there's so much to do - organizee events, sport facilities, they even borrow you the equipment for free. Only downside we experienced was the food and drinks - which were average in my opinion. Overall we had a great stay and enjoyed every part of it.

Experience in Avani + We are a couple that travel every year to Maldives in different resorts always for long stays, this time was our first time Avani + and was an amazing surprise, we can walk around the island and choose wish type of room fits you, the beach isn’t full of guest, nice for snorkeling, is truly an peace of paradise on earth, this time we stay shortly because an personal accident my wife broke a leg sleeping on stairs 4 days before our departure. The support of resort staff was perfect, medical center, management director Mr Judd and also Mrs Murey and Rashiid, were extremely helpful to arrange all emergency procedures, first was transported to Baa Atoll hospital by boat to X-ray and be prepared to return home, first to Male by hidroplane and than to Portugal by ourselves. In Europe the doctors said that Maldivian hospital and resort medical center made everything correct. So don’t be afraid to go to Maldives even something goes wrong we get appropriate support in worst case scenarios. The resort is wonderful and being there is excellent and unforgettable we fully recommend and thank for all to be save at home again. We will be back soon.

Rooms with adjoining doors are not soundproof ! No real privacy if your room is in the ground floor due to people walking in front of your land for beach chairs ! Too many Russians on this resort for my liking rude and arrogant towards staff which ruined the atmosphere

Outstanding 6 nights stay! Thanks to the immediate and effective support of the GM Judd Rabbidge we were able to correct a misallocation of the Pool Water-villa for the one on the sunset site! Highly appreciated! 🙏 We enjoyed this villa and the whole resort tremendously! All is modern, sustainably maintained and functioning impeccably! The Terrace buffet restaurant and the Skipjack restaurant for lunch and late evening cocktails are fabulous! Not to forget: Kudos to Rachel our local support, Munawaru for housekeeping and Modex our waiter!👏🏼👌

Transfer: We were transferred from Malé Airport by the resort's transfer partner, Manta Air seaplane. The transfer process was smooth, and we were greeted immediately after customs control. The waiting area for the seaplane flight was comfortable with a cozy lounge. The flight itself takes approximately 30-40 minutes and lands on a floating platform near the island, where you'll be picked up by boat. Location: The island is beautifully maintained, covered in lush greenery and coconut trees. In the evenings, hundreds of hermit crabs scuttle along the sandy paths, and fruit bats squabble in the treetops. The house reef is fantastic, offering plenty of snorkeling opportunities to see a variety of fish, including occasional curious reef sharks. Snorkeling equipment rental is available and was complimentary during our stay. Sunbeds with umbrellas are spaced out along the beach, ensuring privacy and relaxation. The island is relatively small, taking about 20-30 minutes to walk around. Room: Our room was on the second floor with an ocean view. There are four rooms per house, two on the ground floor and two on the first. Ground-floor rooms have panoramic glass doors leading directly to a small green yard and the beach beyond, while second-floor rooms have a balcony. The bed was large and comfortable, and all necessary toiletries and towels were provided. However, we didn't find slippers (which weren't really needed) and instead of toothpaste, tooth cleaning tablets were available. It's worth noting that in the evenings, geckos were often seen near our entrance, although they didn't enter the room. Crew: All the on-site personnel were cheerful and eager to help. Upon arrival, we were assigned a dedicated remote butler, Manu, who we could contact via WhatsApp. This allowed us to easily schedule and reschedule our activities. You can also use the Avani app for this, but we found that working with Manu was more convenient and added a personal touch.

Amazing sea - skates, dolphins next to the hotel beach. Great fishing experience. Snorkelling is great, no need to pay for it, the reef next to the hotel is great & you can take the equipment for free in the hotel. The rooms are modern and clean. Nice teen room. Insane sunset views from the pool restaurant. The restaurants are decent, different menus and cuisines (we had b&b so tried them all). Breakfast is great as well. Staff is friendly, special thanks for Noaman (was helping me with physeotherapy).

-Check the bills while doing the check out, charging all the fees twice (tho on booking some were included in the price). -Spa prices are not final prices - they add tax and a 10% tip automatically -A couple of times the room wasn’t cleaned but they fixed it as soon as we asked -The logistics - they are using some outsource company that flies you in and out. Be ready to spent many hours in the lounge waiting for your plane or check out at 4am because of the flight schedule tho your flight is at noon (but maybe you’re more lucky with this than us)

I recently had the most incredible holiday at Avani+ in the Maldives, and I can honestly say it was a paradise! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a stunning view of lush greenery and crystal-clear waters. The resort is a perfect blend of luxury and nature. The rooms were beautifully designed, spacious, and had all the modern comforts. Waking up to the serene sounds of nature and enjoying a morning coffee on the private terrace overlooking the ocean was absolute bliss. The staff went above and beyond to make sure my stay was exceptional. Whether it was arranging activities or providing dining recommendations, they were always friendly and attentive. The food was delicious—fresh seafood, local dishes, and international cuisine all served in picturesque settings. Very special thanks to Atish💕 The Avani+ Fares truly exceeded my expectations in every way. It was the perfect getaway for relaxation, adventure, and rejuvenation. I really liked the room design, especially the pool. The drinks were fantastic, with a variety of freshly squeezed juices, good coffee, and top-notch alcoholic cocktails! Castro is the best bartender. The reef is truly beautiful and full of marine life. I even managed to see a manta ray swimming by the island, and it wasn't even the best season!

They don't provide bicycles for the island guests; instead, they shuttle them around in buggies. However, for this system to work smoothly, it needs to be well-coordinated. One morning, I was awakened when the buggy driver mistakenly went to the wrong room. A day later, the buggy intended for my room picked up guests from the neighboring room. In the initial days, buggies did not arrive at all for unclear reasons, leaving me waiting for over 30 minutes. If you opt for the most expensive rooms on the island, be prepared to walk a lot under the blazing sun. Booking listed 5 restaurants at the hotel. In reality, the coffee shop is closed, and breakfast happens in a restaurant called "Ocean Terrace" with a buffet. Lunch is also served there unless you choose the poolside "Skipjack Bar" with a limited fast-food menu, where, with the all-inclusive package, you have to pay for each dish. The exception allows you to have one free lunch there during your stay and dinner every day (main course + starter or dessert). Most guests have dinner at the same "Ocean Terrace." There's a great grill restaurant open for dinner, but you only get a one-time $40 discount per person with an average bill of $200. This doesn't seem like "all-inclusive." In rooms with the all-inclusive package, you get water, tea, and coffee. Regular milk had to be literally begged for, and coffee capsules were replenished based on the staff's mood. I have never seen such penny-pinching on guests in any five-star hotel. My girlfriend and I were repeatedly pressured to move from sofas to chairs in the restaurant, even though 80% of the tables were empty. Despite the hotel offering entertainment, its large capacity often led to situations where everything was fully booked. Particularly surprising was the scheduling of a tennis court for a girl from 5 to 7 PM daily for 10 days.

New , clean. very profissional staff especially: Irshad (our assistant) , Gulmi ( from kids club) The room service ,cleaning is wonderful, resturant is small but full of varities from all over the world. Kids freindly Slopes for kids trolly and disabled ones
