- SO LOUD!!! - Code to door never seemed to work and being a solo female traveller locked out the room having come out shower at 1am was not good and no answer from staff. This happened multiple times and throughout the night you can loudly hear other people having the same problem. It made me worried every time I left the room - walls paper thin - bathrooms not the cleanest

We were only there for one night but the room was very noisy, and there were lots of bugs all over the floor.

Le système pour ouvrir les portes est complètement défaillant. Il faut un code mais le système bug. Après avoir alerté l'accueil à plusieurs reprises, ils n'ont pas pris mes demandes au sérieux. J'ai beau avoir réussi à montrer à un membre du personnel que le système buguait et alerté que j'avais un avion tôt le matin, on m'a certifié que qqun serait là pour m'aider par whatsapp si besoin. Et non, le personnel dort la nuit et met le téléphone en mode avion. (à 1h du matin et à 4h, zéro réactivité. Je devais quitter l'hôtel à 5h du matin, j'ai eu mes premieres réponses seulement une fois arrivée à l'aéroport) Les douches étant extérieur, j'ai du bloquer la porte et prendre ma douche avec mon passeport et téléphone portable. Le systeme des portes bug. Et l'écran système du personnel prétend que je me suis trompé de code. Bah effectivement si votre systeme bug je ne peux inscrire le bon code. Et ils m'ont pris pour un idiot. J'aurai du filmer les problèmes pour les montrer plus tard mais j'esperais sincerement que le personnel soit à la hauteur, mais il ne l'est pas.

Shower is very powerful and warm. It is value for money at this hotel but it’s just noisy depending on what room you end up in.

Very loud with other guests not having much respect. The hallways and corridors echo every noise through the building. Even when people are downstairs in the lobby it sounds like they are right outside your door because it just echoes through the building. Also the shared bathrooms were right outside my door and they have hairdryers out there that people obviously need to use but it’s very loud inside the room.

The location is perfect. It was located in old town and close to restaurant , cafe , street food. And most important is staff name ILLIYA is very nice and helpful 👍

The receptionist guy was very unprofessional. He took my phone during my checkout and gave a 10/10 rating review using my account in booking.com WITHOUT my permission. Aside from that, i paid 70% extra more than the price displayed on booking.com. It does not include VAT, heritage, tourism taxes here on the app. The standard room has only one dim orange light above the bed, there were holes on the ceiling just outside the ensuite bathroom (told the staff to tape it but they said they couldn't do that, even with the hefty charges that i paid), no TV, no chair unless requested, no amenities except for soap and no soundproof. You can vividly hear people talking and watching videos on their phone in the room across from my room. Overall it's one of my worst hotel experience.

Nur die Lage.

Zimmerausstattung war nicht existent, keine Kleiderbügel, keine Ablagemöglichkeiten, Matratze war so durchgelegen, dass die Federn an den Seiten rauskamen. Die Aufenthaltsmöglichkeiten waren nicht nutzbar, weil es dort heißer war als draussen, es gab nichtmal Ventilatoren. Die "Küche" war komplett leer. es gab keine Tassen oder Besteck, abolut unbrauchbar also. Und als ob das nicht genug wäre, lag das Zimmer direkt an den Gemeinschaftsbädern, wo Personen sich nachts um 3 Uhr duschen und die Haare föhnen.

We had a really enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend it to others. Check-in was easy and straightforward, and the host was very helpful and friendly throughout our stay. The interior has a quirky charm that gives the place a unique character, and our room was clean and comfortable. The shower and toilet facilities were also well-maintained and spotless. The location is very convenient, with easy access to nearby amenities, which made getting around and finding things to do simple. Overall, a great place to stay and one we’d happily recommend.

If we had to mention one small downside, it would be that a bit more outdoor relaxing space would have been nice—but it wasn’t essential and didn’t take away from our overall experience.

We had a pleasant stay overall and found it to be a convenient and comfortable option, especially for the value. Check-in was easy and straightforward, and the location is excellent, making it easy to get around and access nearby amenities. The room was clean and had good air conditioning, which was much appreciated, although it was on the smaller side. We also liked how easy it was to extend our stay when needed. Having kitchen facilities available on every floor was a great bonus and added extra convenience. Overall, good value for money with plenty of positives, especially for the location and convenience.

On the downside, there’s no communal outdoor space, which would have been nice for relaxing. It’s also worth noting that the property isn’t accessible by lift, so stairs are required.

Safe n secure environment. Properly run n managed facilities. Quiet atmosphere & clean environment.

Bed is too soft n not even ( please check the bed structure?). Would apprrciate if extra blanmet could be provided.

We booked our accommodation at the very last minute for New Year's Eve, so we felt lucky to find this place within our budget. We chose the twin room so we could have a window (not so easy to find in Penang!). The good thing about this place is the location, which is very convenient for exploring Georgetown, even though the street is very noisy. Also à good point is that the staff is very responsive by messaging on WhatsApp.

We found it very basic, at the limit of what is acceptable . We don't ask for much from our accommodations, but there was nothing about this room and bathroom that made us feel well. One of the two beds was very uncomfortable; it felt like a waterbed! Fortunately, we loved Georgetown and spent most of our time outdoors.

I liked the cleanliness, location in the center of George Town near either the ferry terminal and the Komtar bus terminal. The staff was nice and helpful, particularly Illiya who gave a physical key to enter my room when I had problems to digit the code number on the door handle. In the common space, guests can have free coffee and tea, use the fridge., and work with their PC.

The bathroom is located publically which felt uncomfortable to use and the room was very small which had only 2 beds and a aircond thats all for a twin room.

Mattress, pillows and blanket are nice and comfy. Staff are nice. Location is pretty good.

Convenient location and affordable price

As a mother of two children, having to climb up four floors is extremely inconvenient for me, especially as I suffer from knee pain. While it is appreciated that each floor is equipped with a shared hair dryer, the lack of an iron on each floor is disappointing. Guests are required to walk all the way to the reception area just to iron their clothes. This arrangement is very unfriendly and inconvenient, particularly for families with children, elderly guests, or those with physical discomfort.
