Amazing room and friendly staff

Excellent séjour ! Le logement est idéalement situé et les instructions pour l’arrivée sont très claires. L’accès aux chambres par code est vraiment pratique. La chambre était confortable et disposait de tout l’équipement nécessaire. Les salles de bain communes étaient également très propres, fonctionnelles et bien entretenues. Enfin, l’hôte a été très réactif, disponible et arrangeant tout au long du séjour. Je recommande sans hésiter !

Strategic location. Near by Chulia street with nice wanton noodle. Motorbike rental just nearby. Rm40 per 24hours. Cleanroom and toilet. Easy check in and out. Allow late check out. We stayed in living room until 7pm after check out. With airconditioned livingroom.

It’s a good hostal. It’s not very social but proposes activities every night. We did the pub crawl and it was very fun!!

Location is in the heart of the city. So it's very accessible place. Mr Hariz is a true gentleman. He helped me a lot and answered promptly to all my queries. Clean , comfortable stay.

Tal vez que solo hubiese dos baños pero nunca tuve problemas para usarlos, siempre estaban libres.

Il letto a castello era un po scomodo e per salire in quello sopra facevi tantissimo rumore.

Possibilità di farsi la doccia e accedere ai servizi anche prima del check-in e dopo il check out. Nella living area sono a disposizione te, caffè, acqua calda e fredda. Personale molto gentile e disponibile. Guesthouse nel complesso carina e utile come appoggio per un paio di giorni a George Town, anche grazie alla sua posizione centrale e vicino a tanti bar e locali

The price was amazing, the place was clean when we arrived, customer service was amazing and super responsive. Overall, a very grateful experience staying there for 2 nights.

Soundproofing was not the greatest but other than that everything else was amazing.

The pillow was not clean and I had seen some yellow stains. I didn’t know that I was going to live in a room with no windows for 3 days. That’s unacceptable so I decided to leave earlier than planned. Which means that I have paid for a night which I didn’t stay.

Lo céntrico que estaba, las facilidades que nos dieron. Hicimos un late check-out y nos dejaron dejar las maletas hasta la hora de nuestro transporte. Pudimos disfrutar de la ciudad sin preocuparnos. A la hora de acceder te facilitan códigos para que no tengas que preocuparte de las llaves. El aire acondicionado funciona genial y hace que la estancia sea perfecta.

Todo estaba bien aunque en momentos se escuchaban ruidos de otros huespedes. A pesar de ello, te facilitan tapones por si los necesitases. ( a nosotros no nos hicieron falta)

Zimmer sehr klein und etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Zudem sehr hellhörig, sodass wir nachts von anderen Gäst*innen geweckt wurden.

Nous avions prévu 5 nuits au Aayu Chulia Street mais nous avons réalisé en arrivant sur la chambre que nous avions réservée était un peu trop petite pour deux (9m2). Nous avons contacté l’équipe qui nous a très gentiment proposé un délogement au Aayu Chulia de Church Street, à 10 minutes à pied. La chambre était spacieuse et confortable. L’emplacement était central et pratique pour explorer le centre de George Town. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la disponibilité, la réactivité et la gentillesse du personnel.

Good location right near Chinatown.

Room and toilet kind of smelled like toilet sewage unless you turned on the AC and bathroom fan. Not the biggest room with limited space to put luggage. Can hear anyone talking in the common area if you stay on the first floor.

自己办理入住，各项信息都很全面们，价格非常美丽，基础设施也还不错，空调风力很大，浴室虽然公用但🚰水很大!也打扫的很干净！Whatsapp社群每天都会有免费的体验活动！可以交到新朋友！这点很棒！酒店位置在爱情巷酒吧一条街附近，如果想交全世界的新朋友可以选择这里，当然如果你喜欢安静也是OK的，因为酒店隔音还不错，只要不出去也是不会被打扰的，酒店也会要求晚上静音，大家也都很守规矩！

房间没有窗户所以有时候会有点闷和潮湿，但是开了空调以后就好多了，但这和槟城的气候有关并不是酒店的问题！

Really friendly staff who always checked on us, amazing location!! Right in the middle of everything we wanted to see. Our room was very small with no window, but we knew this was the case before booking. Good place to stay for a few nights :)

- Staff were really helpful and attentive, checked in regularly via WhatsApp. - The room was cleaned daily, at your request. - They have a shared area with kettles, microwaves, fridge etc. - Great location. Short walk to little India/ love lane/ street art etc.

- The rooms are extremely small. Photos are not representative of room size and quality. I didn’t feel it was very good value for money. - Prior to booking, we weren’t advised that rooms had no windows but they messaged us soon after we booked to advise of same.

We like the location with plenty of eating places. This is also walking distance to the ferry terminal. There is a self service laundry close by to do our washing.

The location was amazing, walking distance to everywhere in the centre of Georgetown and also easy to get a grab to go to nearby beaches. The staff were amazing - they gave us a complimentary room upgrade and also gave us a late check out at no extra cost. They were so kind and always available if we had any questions. I would really recommend staying here - it is great value for money and run by such lovely people.

Great air con in room. Great location. Provided with a hair dryer in the bathroom. Small kitchenette if you need it. Cheap accommodation which is great.

Rooms are very small. Bathrooms/touelts/showers were not great, the toilet is in the same room as the shower. No staff to check in you have to use WhatsApp and get door codes. Impossible to find the place it's has no sign or name on the building you have to look for the next door shop and guess that it is there.

The property was good value of money. You get beyond expectations vis-a-vis the price. Location was good.

Very noisy! Directly on a main road. Could hear all the traffic. Ear plugs were provided but did not help. The WiFi also didn’t work at all in the property

Personeel super aardig en behulpzaam. We kwamen laat inchecken en er bleek wat mis te zijn met de kamer, toen we hun na 12am benaderde hebben ze ons binnen 10 minuten naar een andere kamer begeleid. Bleek een kleinere kamer te zijn en hebben daarvoor vergoeding gekregen. Ook hebben ze leuke activiteiten waar je gratis aan mee kan doen!

Kamer was aan de kleine kant.

Hariz was great! Very helpful and attentive. Perfect location. They offer an itinerary for your visit and discounts at certain cafes.

staff were frequently checking in on us online, making sure we were doing okay and if we needed anything. they also acted promptly to a noise complaint, resolving it within minutes. the space itself is basic but has everything we needed and it was in a great location!

not very sound proof - the walls sounded hollow so noise travelled easily from communal areas / corridors into the room. the toilet is inches away from the wall so there was very little legroom to sit properly/comfortably. light spills in from the corridor into the room. no windows in the room but we didn't mind that

The key code system for the main door can be a bit problematic.

This is a good budget option in George Town. The location was great - very close to restaurants, bars, shops and sights. But there was no street noise.

The room doesn't have a window and was also a bit noisy from people in the common area and going up and down the stairs late at night/early morning.

I really enjoyed my stay at Aayu Chulia Hostel. The staff were welcoming and helpful throughout and the hostel was very clean. It offered excellent value for money with reliable internet and great amenities. What stood out most was the guided stroll around the area, it was such a thoughtful touch and a great way to explore. Heba and Tai were especially kind and supportive. They went out of their way to make me feel included, even introducing me to people at the club. We played pool, sang karaoke and had a fantastic time. Their warmth and hospitality made my stay even more memorable.

The rooms are pretty small but it is clean. The staffs are nice. The location is great. Had almost everything at walkable distance. Overall, pretty decent place.

the parking are really hard, almost impossible to get a parking nearby the property, but its not the property fault, chulia street are a very busy street even at night.

Very central location in Georgetown Very close to the ferry. Free tea and coffee and has a fridge in the common area. Bed was comfortable enough. Staff were friendly.

Shower is in between the toilet and the sink. Room has no windows and ventilation isn't great with no manual fan meaning the room could get humid. No windows is also a little depressing. I only saw a message about it after I'd booked. When I was there, none of the guests wanted to talk at all, not even say hello, even the staff who were friendly when coming to my room.

Everything was perfect. Staff is one of the nicest I have ever encountered. About the location, can’t be better. Right in Chulia street, the most famous one. 1min away from a bus station to go to batu Ferrighi beaches/kek lok Si Temple. Or wherever you go. Also 1min away from bars/restaurant/Jetty/little India. I highly recommend this place if you come to Georgetown and want to be right in the city center

Maybe I better signalisation to located the hotel. People can be a little be noisy at night. Floor is wood upstairs so we can hear everything.

Staff were really friendly. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Air conditioning was amazing. The communal room had really comfortable sofas and there was even a fridge you could put things in! Perfect location right on the Main Street.

Property was a little hard to find as there is no sign outside. Bathrooms were very hot and could have been a little cleaner.

10/10 stay at Aayu Chulia. Everything was smooth from start to finish. Their response time was incredibly fast, and any question we had was answered almost immediately, which made the whole stay easy and stress-free. The self check-in process was simple and convenient. The staff were some of the friendliest we have met, always warm, helpful, and quick to assist with anything we needed. We also really appreciated the late checkout option, which was super helpful and made a big difference for our travel plans. The cleanliness was excellent. Everything was spotless and very well maintained. The location is another huge plus, very central and convenient, yet still quiet enough to rest well. The air conditioning was impressively silent, which made sleeping very comfortable. Even if you book a room with a shared bathroom, it is not an issue at all because there are four different shared bathrooms, so we never had to wait. We also loved the supply of hot and cold drinking water, as well as coffee and tea, which was a really nice extra touch. For the price, the service was exceptional. Highly recommended, and we would definitely stay here again.

The air conditioning worked really well, it was centrally located, self check in was easy, and the bed was fine.

There was a slight smell that came from the bathroom after using the shower.

De ligging van de accommodatie is perfect! Je ligt meteen aan love lane en er zijn genoeg eetgelegenheden in de buurt. Ook ben je vanuit hier snel bij de pier. In de gemeenschappelijke ruimte staat een watertap voor koud gefilterd water, dat is fijn met de hitte!

Wij hadden de kamer met een stapelbed. Helaas kraakte deze enorm en voelde het niet stabiel. De muren van de kamer waren ook heel dun waardoor we veel geluidsoverlast hadden. Het personeel heeft ons wel een andere kamer aangeboden, maar hebben dit niet aangenomen omdat we het gevoel hadden dat dit niks zou oplossen. De douches vonden we ook niet mega schoon en het water werd niet warm.
