We really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, comfortable mattresses, peaceful and quiet and views of Youghal.

We felt that the apartment was quite dated and that the decor was a bit confused! There were lots of small maintenance issues such as cracked toilets, chipped baths and creaky stairs and doors. For the price we paid we would have expected a modern, updated apartment. The bedding was also quite tired and stained in places. The apartment is definitely not a practical walking distance to Youghal due to the huge hill but this was pointed out in advance by our host. The outside drain was also blocked during our stay. I informed our host immediately and she got back to me straight away. However, she was let down by her maintenance team as the drain was never fixed. However, these are only small issues and didn't spoil our stay.

Not a real issue! but the Wi-Fi code didn't seem to work, but the lack of wi-fi access phones did not take from a good experience .

It was spacious with plenty of storage for clothes for a longer stay and the beds were comfy. Plenty of plates and utensils for cooking and a separate freezer. Washing machine was easy to use. Tennis rackets provided.

Someone should turn the hot water temp up before guests arrive. There was no hot water which we did not realise until too late to heat up for a shower. I didn't like the towels being in drawers. They don't smell fresh. The decor could do with an update. Too many plastic plants and fake flowers. There were lots of half used shower gels, shampoos and toothpaste in the bathrooms which might provide for choice of product but made me feel like no one had cleaned them up. Perhaps one of each in each bathroom is enough and the others could be stored in the vanity.

The location was perfect, the hosts were amazing, it was our friend’s birthday and they put up banners, had a card for her and a cake in the fridge, they went above and beyond. The bed was so comfy. Could not have asked for better

Quality of the property is poor , very old and not maintained well, when i entered into the property i had smell mould smell, and the facilities are poor . No lock for common toilet.the master bedroom toilet have very bad mould on windows and bedroom windows have mould as well. The biggest thing is staircase is broken and is scary to use it. This property is strictly for one family (3-4 people maximum) . Dining table is just like a coffee table and only 2 people can sit at same time. Very small property with poor quality. The only good thing is bedrooms are not too small. It’s not worth for €460 for a night. Even if you get it for €300 something I won’t recommend

The house was comfortable and well equipped. There was a balcony in one of the bedrooms and a safe playground on the property.

Very clean and cosy house with everything you need for your stay. Very nice host with strong attention for details and good communication. We enjoyed tennis and Netflix for free also free biscuits with tea/coffees;)

House was spotlessly clean with extras such as tea, coffee and biscuits. Location was excellent and ideal for families with a tennis court and play park within the complex.

The weather!

Accomdation was so clean and roomy. Plenty of towels and bedding provided as well as other essentials such as toilet roll, shampoos. A good location. Great information prior to our available was provided by email, making our check in and stay all go smoothly. We would stay here again.

The location was ideal for our stay - 10 minutes walk to, and 20 minutes back from the Walter Raleigh Hotel. The villa was mostly very warm and the furniture very comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped with crockery, cutlery, utensils and appliances.

I was very disappointed at the lack of hairdryer, when I had asked and been told that there was one (especially as the purpose of our trip to Ireland was to attend a party). I received no reply to the comment I sent about the lack of hairdryer. The heater in the master bedroom didn't work.

A difficulty for us but maybe not for most people - an uneven narrow path is the approach to the front of the house. Approach to the back door is a steep hill . We had an adult with a walking difficulty (needs to use a walking stick) and a 10 week old baby in a pram in our group. So the access was a little difficult because of that.

Information from host was clear and easy to understand. House was generally clean and tidy. Kitchen facilities (oven, fridge, dishwasher, etc) are good.

No coffee or milk provided. Only 1 out of 4 adults had a shower and all the hot water was used up. Bed linen, pillows, towels were worn and dated. Left over Shampoo and shower gel left in bathroom from previous guests. Generally, the house could do with a modern touch. Location is very difficult to access by walking from town (which is pointed out in the description, so we knew it wasn't close to anything but it makes it very difficult to go anywhere without a driving) Overpriced for what it is.

Access to the villa with luggage was difficult. Some of the villa needs to be refurbished. Bathrooms looking a bit old in particular the bath. Need a larger dining table for 4 people.

property was conveniently located for our drive around Ireland. Would have been a great place to stay for a few nights as there are some cool things to explore closeby. Friendly little beach town - very quaint.

We had two cars - so parking was a bit of a hassle. The unit is attached and the row of homes it is in sits it between two others back a bit from the parking area - which was always full.

Location was ideal to visit Youghal and Cork. House was equipped with basic items such as dishwasher tablets and tea towels which was great. House looked like pictures.

Cosmetically House appeared lovely but floorboards need tlc especially the stairs as they are quite noisy. Windows also quite drafty. Could have been cleaner and hairdryer is 2 prong so only fit over the light in the bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was so clean, bright and cosy. It was warm and the host Veronica had left choc cookies for the kids and lovely coffee's for the adults. They supplied us with tennis rackets and a basketball and there was a court on site. The beds were so comfy. The house was situated in a lovely estate only 5mins from all the local amenities and you can see the sea from the windows.
