Nos últimos anos observei um crescimento de edifícios nas ilhas vizinhas o que deteriora a paisagem. Uma pena um lugar tão paradisíaco com duas ilhas na frente, uma delas com muitos prédios e outra com apenas um, mas em processo de desenvolvimento. Não que seja ruim ir para esse hotel, porém em algum momento você sentirá um choque de paisagem.

I stayed at Anantara Dhigu and the resort is literally 100/100. Stunning sandy beach, excellent service and customer experience, and fantastic food. Simah was amazing throughout my stay and he made my experience easy and smooth. He was very friendly and helpful.

Clean and comfortable lots of restaurants and beautiful beaches

The bed was squeaky. The mattress was not comfortable too soft causes back pain. AC not cooling properly (16 degrees feels like 24 degrees). The resort was more for families and not for couples.

Zahid is the best butler, he was very friendly,positive, and very helpful. And the kids loved him.

And the hookah at Done was simply outstanding — one of the best we’ve ever had, smooth, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. And a very special, heartfelt mention goes to the wonderful man who brought us fresh coconuts on a cart. I’m really sorry that I forgot his name. breakfast was great at fushicafe, staff were amazing and friendly. food was fantastic and the array of restaurant options was appreciated. when things went wrong management came to support which was useful. turn downs were also V good and the massages were high quality. loved picnic island and the cute bar there

onsite snorkeling wasn't the best. We had a few issues with our butler, we weren't properly sat down and things weren't explained at the beginning which would have been appreciated. Also we found booking restaurants to be odd e.g. sometimes we were told restaurents would be closed when they weren't and the process of booking too up far more time and headspace than should have. I'm not sure we got good value for money on Christmas eve and would encourage a better service e.g. provide drinks by glass menu at the buffet etc. I sadly lost two gold necklaces at the spa (left it in the dressing gown pocket but it never got found which is unfortunate and not what I'd expect at such a place)

Front Office: - Petra made me feel welcomed and recognized upon arrival, she remembered me from my visit last year. - I want to highlight my villa host Zahid for being attentive, proactive and absolutely amazing. His warm service made the stay more comfortable for me. - Everyone else from front office was warm and welcoming Housekeeping: - I want to highlight the room attendant who was assigned to me, Hambe. I loved his good night notes on the leaf and I kept them with me. The room cleanliness was excellent, 10/10 for Hambe Food and Beverage: - It was lovely to be back to experience the wide range of F&B offerings between Dhigu and Veli. I ate at Fushi, Aqua, Sea Fire Salt, Oregami, Cumin and Baan Hurra. The team members I wish to highlight across all restaurants and kitchens, I’m filled with gratitude for their service warm interactions: - From Service: Gillu, Ayushma (Gave a beautiful farewell card), Jessica, Rashmina, Ravi (so good at remembering my name and used it naturally) , Fadia (she gave me a lovely farewell card), George, Shan, Soup, Opal, and big boss Pankaj (remembered me from last year). I also remember Mithun from Baan Hurra. - From Kitchen: Francis (remembered me from last year), Hassan, Min min, and Suda from Baan Hurra for the warmth, friendliness and fun vibes she brings in when she meets the guests. Thanks to other amazing chefs whom I didn’t catch their names. Spa The spa is breathtakingly beautiful, extremely serene and calming, like no other. Below are employees to highlight - Aika at spa reception was a delight to interact with, she assisted me with spa treatment bookings. Friendly and engaging, always smiles. - I want to highlight the therapists that did the scrub for me: Ann for the first time and the lovely male therapist for the second treatment whom I didn’t catch his name.

Overall improvement suggestions: 1. the sushi boat at Oregami was better last year. There was something about the flavor that was not the same. 2. Food quality at Aqua is a bit lower compared other restaurants, however it’s still decent 3. It would be proactive to have a tissue box readily available next to the bedside table in the room so the guest doesn’t have to request it, or go all the way to the bathroom to get the tissue box. 4. I personally would like the option to pay directly at the restaurants, spa or dive center. While it’s easy to charge everything to the room, it will be better for guests like me to pay directly as this will help have more visibility on our spendings in comparison to our personal budgets.

Pristine beaches and crystal clear water. Beautiful sunsets. Friendly and helpful staff. Direct communication with the assigned agent via WhatsApp. Very convenient. Amazing food. Six different restaurants to choose from. Fushi restaurant offers a buffet with different selection every day. I highly recommend to book half board. You will save a lot. Plenty of available water activities. Scuba diving, fishing, snorkeling, dolphin tours, etc. Nice kids club with lots of activities. Outside playground and water castle. Cooking classes. Rockclimbing wall. Karaoke. Game room. You have bicycles assigned to your room. We were riding the bicycles every day around the island. You just can't can't get enough of the nature. The whole island just feels so quiet. Most of the time we hardly saw any people during the day. It almost felt like we rented the whole island.

AC stopped working on two separate nights. It was fixed within an hour both times. Nothing else to complain about.

Anantara Resort offers a great and spacious atoll with several islands united, providing an array of experiences imaginable. Enjoy a relaxing massage over water, go snorkeling or swimming, witness breathtaking sunsets, and immerse yourself in a secluded atmosphere that will make you feel lost for a week. A huge plus is - transportation - it just takes 30min from Anantara to the airport by boat. We were staying with a baby and it was critical (no sea planes)

Some villas may be facing docking points or ferry routs which is a little noisy.

The perfect Maldives escape. Staff, setup and activities are all first class. Special call outs everywhere: from Thess, Jamie, Pawani and Mary, with Mohammed and Joker, who run an awesome kids club, to Hanu at breakfast, the staff here are what makes this place. Everything was sorted by our host with the most, Simah. You can’t beat this place.

- the cluster of islands which allows guests to have different experiences - Dhigu offers bicycles for guest to move around and I think that’s a lovely touch to the resort. Really loved my bike rides - the wide range of water sport activities - the wide range of F&B options - FANTASTIC dive centre and dive instructors: Adam, Wesam and Marta - mind blowing dive sites - most importantly, the warm and genuine service across all areas

Negative side of being close to the airport- you can see from city with bare eyes and other city/islands. Kitchen in all restaurants was good, but not excellent.

It was too short of a trip wanted to stay more

gorgeous, newly renovated resort with lots of daily events, various excursions and facilities. Note that 1.its really close to the main airport so after long flight its great to be transferred fast&smooth 2.its connected with 2 other resorts with non stop available and free speedboats. Its important to have option for those who are after maldives can be boring. We can not thank enough Joker, a man who personally made sure our vacation goes perfectly!

The rooms were well kept, and modern.

To start, our villa host, Seda, was outright inhospitable and unresponsive. Despite numerous messages and requests, she barely acknowledged us, making us feel completely neglected. Adding insult to injury, we tried to amend our booking to include half board upon arrival and were told it would cost an outrageous $2,000. This is in contrast to the mere $200 difference if booked initially on Booking.com. Even after Booking.com reached out to the hotel, to upgrade us to half board, the staff pretended not to receive the email, displaying a level of unprofessionalism that is simply unacceptable. The buffet, once a highlight of our stay, was now a disgrace. The selection was pathetically limited, with mostly empty trays and an overabundance of rice dishes. The quality had plummeted, making me wonder if this was even the same resort I had praised before. We were charged $300 for two people at the buffet, which was a complete rip-off. During “BBQ” night, there were no beef dishes at all—just two different types of fish, rice, and some melon. It felt like we were being robbed, paying $150 per person for such a meager and disappointing buffet. The restaurant food quality also severely declined. Not only was the buffet subpar, but the sushi was shockingly below average and incredibly disappointing. The spa was nothing short of a disaster. The facility was dirty, neglected, and felt abandoned. The steam room was falling apart with tiles coming off the walls and floor, and brown discoloration was evident everywhere. The bathroom and changing rooms were in complete disarray, with towels thrown about, creating a thoroughly uninviting atmosphere. The final straw was when Seda, our villa host, didn’t even bother to ask if we enjoyed our stay as we were checking out. This blatant disregard for our experience as guests is absolutely inexcusable and highlights the overall lack of care from the staff. It was as if no one cared about our satisfaction or well-being during our stay.

Everything was amazing, from the moment we arrived until we left. The staff is so friendly and helpful specially ( joker ) the food was good. They have also great restaurants. The kids club was very helpful for us. I highly recommend this resort .

Very attentive staff, especially Zahid who was with us throughout our stay. Very clean facilities, including kids club. Food is good. Massage is amazing. You can go to the resort via the speedboat which I consider an advantage.

Location is easy (no sea plane) so a plus with kids. Good that you can share facilities with the other (adults only island) as means more dining options which is always good. Staff were lovely and very friendly. The two babysitters we used were great.

A lot of confusion over what is / isn’t included in the full board package v all inclusive package. Other resorts have had much clearer menus (for example splitting out what drinks are included in full board and what drinks are all inclusive). Sometimes we were charged for wine, sometimes it was included in the meal. For a family focussed resort, it was odd to us that it was difficult to get an early dinner (5-6pm) for our 18 month old toddler. She’s not able to stay up til 7pm which is when most of the restaurants start serving food. We ended up ordering room service (which you have to pay for despite having full board) to one of the restaurants so we could use the high chair. It would be helpful to have a limited kids menu available at earlier times in the evening. As a result, we were reliant on room service, which sometimes we had to wait 40 minutes for. So just something to factor in if travelling with young kids. Finally, one thing in particular frustrated us- we ordered lunch at the aqua bar. Three of the four meals were served but we had to wait a really long time for the fourth meal (a pizza) to arrive. Everyone had finished eating before the pizza arrived (which was to be eaten by the toddler so obviously frustrating that this was so slow). We thought perhaps the pizza oven needed time to warm up but had noticed other pizzas being plated so this wasn’t the case. We then noticed that the resort manager was having pizza so his order seemed to have been cooked in priority to guests… which seems odd.

We liked everything, the water, the beach are great. We had a super unforgettable vacation. I recommend the island. A house at sunset

Food was not very good for the price. A lot of Indian cuisine that I was not familiar with. We wanted more fish more variety and more salads. Food was if you are in a store for ready to go meals.

From end to end, our stay at Anantara Dhigu was smooth, relaxing and beautiful. Firstly, the resort staff is there for you from arrival until the check-in at the airline desk. I didn’t see many other resort providing this level of service to the other tourists lining up at the airport. You are greeted on arrival and the boat trip to the resort is only a little bit over half an hour, making it very convenient after traveling long haul. We stayed in an over water sunset villa and it was simply stunning. Some have hammock nets over the water and some have pools, both options looked lovely depending on your personal preference/need. The villa is clean and spacious, and is decorated tastefully. It feels very private and the view was beautiful. We opted for the half board option and that suited us well. We mostly ate at Fushi Cafe with the exception of one lunch at Aqua and one dinner at Baan Huraa but those just didn’t live up to the exceptional food at Fushi Cafe. There was a lot of choice as well as variation from day to day. The resort itself is very well designed and there is plenty of exploring to do, both on land and in water. As it sits in a lagoon, it also provides for shelter from wind on one side even on the windier days. Our villa for example tended to get a lot of wind but when dining at Fushi Cafe on the other side of the island, it was very peaceful. It is also easy to wade in the water to snorkel island and snorkel in the coral reef there. There is a pontoon constantly operating between Dhigu and Veli making it very easy to go to the other island. Compared to the other resorts I think this location within the lagoon and spanning over several islands makes it so interesting and unique. There are so many things I could mention but these are what were really memorable and noteworthy, as well as the staff of course who are very polite and attentive. I would definitely visit again.
