Reviewed Mar 2, 2026The location was amazing, close to all the activities we wanted. As a first-time traveler, getting the keys was super easy since checking in had made me nervous. The apartment looks way better in real life. The host was also super helpful and quick to reply.
There was a lot of hair around the apartment, and that's a pet peeve of mine, but the rest, "not so great things," were not that bad and quite bearable. Just ensure that you lock the door at all times.

The curtains let a lot of light in the room in the morning, perhaps investing in block out curtains which are well installed with no gaps. The property is on a busy street with lots of foot traffic. The security guards could be more stricter with who enters the building.

Very little care has been taken to make this apartment comfortable. No soap for the shower, no milk or cremora for tea or coffee, a broken dining table chair, no electrical plugs for bedside lamps. For the price, I could have found much better.

Reviewed Sep 15, 2024Impeccably clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Painlessly easy to access the building and get the keys. Adequately kitted out for self catering. I was only there for 1 night but I wish I stayed longer. Will definitely book this place next time I'm in Umhlanga. I highly recommend. Oh, did I mention it was spotless! That made for a very comfortable stay!
I wish I stayed longer. Also, just note that there was a smell outside due to the fertilizing of the garden area/courtyard, but it did not affect the inside of the unit. And honestly, the apartment was perfectly clean that it was easy to overlook this.
