Holiday Let - Mui Wo, Lantau Island

Great friendly and communicative host. Very appreciative to her help. The apartment is clean and tidy. Comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Nice location and bicycles are complimentary. We had a wonderful stay and no hesitate to recommend to others.

We (4 people) had a great stay in this establishment. It is a ground floor in a multistorey modern, local house, and it is really isolated, feels like having a whole apartment. It is well equipped (kitchen, kitchenware), quiet air con, comfortable bedding (2x2), sofa, tv, bbq, wifi etc. The house is remote (and quiet!) enough to give that "week end in the countryside with friends" vibe but close enough to town to take a stroll and enjoy a few restaurants and other Mui Wo highlights. It is also at a walkable distance of notable waterfalls in Lantau and hiking paths. Last but not least Fanny, the host, was adorable, arranging and responsive. She was kind enough to pick us up from the pier to her house by car and then again to the way back as it was raining.

Great 2 bedroom (plus sofa bed in living room) holiday apartment up the hill a bit from Mui Wo itself but in a very peaceful and a great location from where to explore Lantau and also the rest of Hong Kong (via the Ferry). Fanny (the host) was absolutely amazing helping with everything including transporting our luggage (and us) to and from the apartment on arrival and leaving, giving us all the local information we needed to enjoy our stay, and really helping us out when we discovered we needed to accommodate an extra guest at the last minute. Would definitely return for a peaceful Lantau staycation!

Fanny was so accommodating and helpful. She met us off the ferry and took our luggage ahead so we could start hiking. The house is gorgeous, so quiet and peaceful. A real getaway from the city and perfect spot for hiking. She offered us bikes to get into town as its a 25 min walk. We had a very comfortable stay!
