4 bedroom flat in the heart of Oslo

Jammer dat het toilet niet apart van de badkamer is. Zeker met 8 personen is dat wel wenselijk.

The flat was fully equipped to comfortably host 8 people. There were enough plates, glasses, cutlery, towels and toilet paper to accommodate a small army. We loved the fact that none of us had to sleep in the living room and we could use the space for hanging out. The location is great: very close to multiple bus stations but also walking distance from the centre.

Upon our arrival the flat didn't seem to be as clean as we'd feel comfortable with. There were toothpaste stains on the bathroom mirror, the coffee table was sticky, there were pieces of hair on the bedding that otherwise seemed clean enough and we had to scrub all the dishes before we could use them. It was also a bit odd that there was food in the fridge and freezer from people that were there before us. That included some unopened drinks, eggs and snacks that we had no problem with, but we were surprised to find an opened bottle of sprite, a used packet of butter and a half empty tub of ice cream. Overall the flat seemed messy and cluttered which only added to the feeling of it being dirty.

Absolutely nothing and we had to find alternative accommodation

It was horrible. There was nothing about the apartment we could say that was nice. It literally looked like somebody had moved out for the day to accommodate us moving in. The bedding although we were told it was clean, didn’t look clean and was worn out. I wouldn’t have let my dog sleep on the beds and the bedrooms were horrible. One of the beds had a double base with two single mattresses on top followed by a double mattress on top which we couldn’t even climb up to. We had two small children with us. It was unsafe for them We had booked to stay 4 nights but only stayed 1 because we arrived late and had no option to find anything else so late. We all had to sleep on top of the beds in our clothes because it was so disgusting. It was thick of dust and hair everywhere - the floors were dirty. The rug in the main room was horrible, filthy and needed throwing out. The kitchen was unsafe, cramped with clutter everywhere & grimy - the toaster full of crumbs and greasy & the kettle were on the draining board which again was unsafe there were wires trailing on the floors. The shower was disgusting, dirty half empty shampoo bottles on the floor and in the rack You could only just get into the shower because the washing machine and dryer was stacked up next to it. We didn’t unpack any cases, not just because of the dirt, but there was nowhere clean you could get anything out on to Windows wouldn’t close curtains thread bare I could go on …… We did message the House owner to say it was dirty and unclean and we had to move out. He couldn’t understand what we meant and said the Cleaner had been in but this wasn’t a case of just that - It was obvious it had not been thoroughly cleaned for months. We did offer to pay for the one night and asked for a refund, but the owner refused.

L’emplacement de l’appartement est excellent. Bien desservi par les transports publics et plein de magasins autour ont rendu le séjour facile et agréable. Chacun avait sa chambre et le salon était spacieux et agréable.

La propreté de l’appartement et en particulier de la cuisine laissait à désirer. Il a fallu tout laver ce qu’on voulait utiliser et le four était si sale qu’il s’est mis à fumer quand on a voulu s’en servir. La chambre vers la cuisine est très mal isolée et donc glaciale, heureusement qu’il y avait des radiateurs d’appoint. C’est dommage car le lieu a beaucoup de potentiel, mais il était très encombré d’objets personnels, ce qui était gênant.

Small detail : The bedrooms are small : it is difficult to find room for our suitcases and clothes.

La amplitud, la comodidad de las camas, buena ubicación y menaje de cocina estupendo, muchas toallas de baño…

Superb location, with Co-op grocery directly opposite and good bakeries, bars and restaurants within a few minutes walk - central Oslo is also an easy 15 minute walk away, and there are bus-stops a few steps down the road. The flat is located on the first floor, so doesn't involve hiking up several flights of stairs. The flat is secure and fully-equipped, with a sizeable lounge with all mod-cons, including fast wi-fi (which is a must for our family). The shower was always hot and powerful and the heating warm. David the host was contactable and very kind, although we had no need to contact him during our stay.

I liked that it was a little bit out of the centre of Oslo. Allows you to see more of the city when going to attractions. Their is a convenience store across the road, a coffee shop 1 minute away, and is also within a few minutes of some smaller attractions. Property was clean, spacious.

No issues. Property was used for sleeping and occasional resting when not out and about.

The counters in the kitchen were a little sticky when we arrived.

Location is great (buses at your doorstep), big and fully loaded.

Location was fantastic! The apartment itself had plenty of space to spread out and was comfortable. The host was very responsive, helpful, and professional.

Bathroom had an interesting layout that didn't always work well for trying to assist kids with taking showers.
