Quality, secure location and use of golf estate restaurant.

We had an amazing stay. Darryl and Catherine were extremely friendly. Our 4 paws ciild highly recommendeds it aswell. He had his own little garden and almost snacked on a bird or 2. Thank you so much!

The location is good, not too far from town and the room was lovely! Also there is a Clubhouse on Goose valley so that was handy for ordering food. Had a lovely stay.

É um anexo a uma casa dentro de um lindo condomínio com Campos de Golf a 5 minutos de Plettembergs Bay. Quarto e banheiro espaçosos e modernos. Cafeteira com insumos (café e leite) e cookies deixados convenientemente pelos proprietários. No condomínio existe um restaurante que serve almoço e café de manhã. Ficamos 2 dias e fomos muito bem tratados. Nossa experiência foi ótima.

The accommodation was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and with all the necessary amenities. Lovely host. Very safe and quiet environment with a private outside area. Coffee/tea/hot chocolate and individually wrapped rusks. Highly recommend 👌🏼

A modern apartment with all, and more, comforts of home. It was tastefully furnished and the bed was extremely comfortable. The shower is one you would like to take home and little details as in dainty biscuits for your coffee and chocolate by your bed made you feel very welcome.

A little more privacy from the road but this will be resolved as the garden matures.

The ceiling fan works but the speed is low so it does not cool the room significantly.

The location is beautiful, quiet and the seperate entrance was a great idea. Room was nice enough.

There was no one to greet/welcome me when I arrived and show me the room, which made locating my room a lot more confusing and take longer than it had to. The room itself was nice enough but it was EXTREMELY HOT! The aircon did not blow cold air at all and I spent the weekend either sweating or having to sleep with the door open; and because I didnt know anyone was home (see the lack of welcome above) I couldn't call and ask someone to fix it. The room could have used a clean. There were spiders with spider webs in almost evey corner of the room, bathroom and on the ceiling; the shower wasn't properly cleaned and neither was the glasswear provided. Not to mention the MANY dead mosquitoes (WITH THEIR BLOOD!) on the blinds behind the curtain.

Emplacement parfait surtout pour les golfeurs. Catherine, l’hôtesse est très accueillante et la chambre n’ayant pas été occupée nous avons pu laisser nos affaire vers 12h. La salle de bains est parfaite, la chambre très lumineuse, accès facile par le jardin. Lieu très sécurisé. Café, thé et petits gâteaux à disposition. Pas de petit déjeuner mais 2 possibilités à 5 mn en voiture.

The Harvey's was ideally situated for our stay as it was so close to the Goose Valley Clubhouse. The Clubhouse breakfasts were excellent and we can highly recommend them. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and very comfortable and everything you could wish for was there. Darrell even made available a golf cart for our use! We would highly recommend The Harvey's and hope we can stay there again on our next visit to Plett.

The hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful and made every effort to ensure our stay was absolutely perfect. As I was travelling with my dog they were so accommodating and welcoming. The room was spacious and beautiful and every amenity was thought through.

Pristine place, perfect location, super friendly and accommodating hosts! It is also very peaceful on the estate and very safe. Great location, close to Plett, shops and Keurbooms. Just really enjoyed our stay!! Comfortable and convenient.

Acomodação limpa, organizada e muito confortável. Cama boa, banheiro bom. A localização é ótima e fica dentro de um condomínio muito bonito com campos de golfe.

Dentro do condomínio existem restaurantes com vista para o Campo de golfe com preços super acessíveis e comida boa. Vale a pena tomar café da manhã la.

Die Unterkunft liegt super schön und sicher. Die Einrichtung ist sehr schön und uns wurde alles geboten was wir brauchten. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Es gibt auch ein leckeres Restaurant auf dem Gelände.

Ein Golfball traf das Dach und das war laut, aber auch witzig 😁

Beautiful, clean and safe.

It is not self-catering. So for a short stay it is perfect. But for a longer stay one might need a bit more.

The hosts of the house were super friendly. We messed up our booking but Catherine & her husband prepared another room for us so we could stay there anyways. The room was super clean, the neighborhood is safe and it was only 3-4min by car to get to the middle of Plettenberg Bay. We really enjoyed our stay here and can totally recommend staying here!

The location is breathtaking. Well located, safe and extremely peaceful. The estate also offers a restaurant which is very well priced. A must for travelers looking for serenity and natural beauty.

Only draw back but not serious was that there was no TV

Spacious, clean and neat accommodation with attention to detail. Modern, uncomplicated and uncluttered facilities. Garden setting with undercover verandah. To take advantage of the clubhouse restaurant for breakfast/dinner (walking distance) was an absolute bonus for me.

It might have been the wind direction during my stay, I could hear some traffic noise from the National road although the property is located at considerable distance.

We truly appreciated the accessibility to all amenities, the peacefulness of the estate, and the warm friendliness of both the access control staff and our hosts.

I did notice that the doorway between our accommodation and the main house is a hollow door, which allows sound to carry quite easily. I was a bit concerned that we might unintentionally disturb our hosts, as it's easy to hear what’s happening on the other side.

Lovely hosts and location is excellent. Rooms are well finished and bathroom is lovely with all the necessary luxuries.

Catherine is a wonderful host, with a beautiful home and private accomodation, comfortable beds and linen. Perfectly situated in a secure golf estate and convenient to all the areas in and around Plettenberg Bay. Harvey-18 Lynnwood will definitely be the place we return to again in our travels.

The owners was so friendly and welcoming. They made us feel at home, we took our pet Bunny and small parrot with us and they were welcomed with open arms. Its also very safe, we left the doors open when we went somewhere and also slept with the doors wide open. Amazing stay, Thank you Catherine and Darrel, you were amazing hosts. ☺️

Everything! The hosts were very welcoming & laid back. The rooms were clean & comfy. The area is amazing & very safe. I would 100% recommend this place & we are so gutted we only stayed for one night.

The place looks very neat and clean. Suitable to take walks or go for a run, it is safe and secured.

There’s nothing I didn’t like, however, I would have preferred to make use of a microwave in the kitchenette area.

We had the most wonderful stay at HARVEY - 18 Lynnwood Estate in Plettenberg Bay. Catherine and her husband were amazing hosts, making us feel like we’d returned to our family home. Our room was inviting, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully designed, with every detail adding to the charm. It was such a happy and heartwarming experience—highly recommended!
